Some months ago, I went to Blind with the proposal of creating a new major thread—this would serve as the place for topics that do not need to become and would fail at being threads of their own; for small questions that users would like answered, similar to what @DabigRG has been doing; and for conversation that involves any medium of The Walking Dead franchise. Fundamentally, a thread of general chat specifically for subjects revolving around the video game series.
A poll was conducted, and the majority of users declared that they were in favor.
Blind evaluated this, and some weeks ago he publicly presented in this very thread the description that the potential thread would have if it were to be published. A handful of users manifested that they were against this idea, some of them fearing that it could become too confusing.
This thread would be created by @NotSoBlindGuy, Blind's alternate account, in order to spare everybody of constant blows to the feed.
Good day, users!

Yes, it normally is - NotSoBlindGuy is an exception that we use to host larger threads sometimes so our profile feeds don't blow up. It's not used for anything bad like generating confusion, evading bans through sock puppet accounts, etc.

Wait... isn't having two or more accounts against the rules?
I believe that it would be a great idea having choices like that, not only will it give this game replay value, but as I stated both sides will be happy. As long as telltale can give both of these options there own advantages and disadvantages it could work.

I actually like the idea of the main playable character being Javier and only Clementine being playable in flashbacks. 1.Because it's a good way to establish that this is mainly Javier's story in the present day, and Clementine's story is in the past, making Season 3 stand on it's own while also catering to the old fans. and 2.Because it's a great way to show players how much Clementine has changed from the choices you made from Season 2. If you had a lot of control over Clem like in S2, we wouldn't see any of the changes S2 has done to her since you still have control over what she says, and I find it highly unlikely that Telltale would change dialogue choices for my Clementine.
Remember when #MyClementine was trending after S2 ended. The idea of not having control over Clem most of the time in S3 has that trend make way more sense now. You could really only see the differences of your Clementine through seeing it from an outside perspective (Javier)
That would be great, especially if they had gameplay differences between the two like with the Batman/Bruce choices-- Bruce depends more on guile and cunning, appealing to people on a more personal level, while Batman is more about brute force and intimidation to get what you need.
For example: one of you decides to scout ahead, and deal with any threats in the area if need be.
Do you decide to go as Javier, relying more on brute force, going loud and fighting your way through whatever obstacles lie ahead? Or do you go as Clementine, relying more on stealth and wits to sneak around, avoiding a fight if possible?
I guess because it makes Clementine seem less important. I for one get bitter at the idea of Clementine being playable only on flashbacks. I… more hope Telltale does what they did with Batman and allow us to play as Clementine or Javier at certain points in the game. You want to play Javier more? You can do that. You want to play as Clementine more? You can do that aswell. So both sides of the fence are happy.
Hopefully when the game awards come they can announce more about the save system where for example my Xbox 360 season 1 and 2 choices can carry over to my Xbox one because I need to now if I need a certain thing like the disc version only or the same Xbox live account.

Later this week, we will be making a separate thread for Live Discussion of the Game Awards 2016. There, you can discuss Walking Dead: New Frontier's 8 minute extended preview, any potential new Telltale series reveal(s), and any other gaming news in General.

That's what people are guessing, anyway. It's a 2017 release, and Telltale has announced their new series during the Game Awards of the previous year for a while now.

Ever since playing season 2 ive felt that this song fit it (and Clem) perfectly, esp the last two eps bc you was in a snowy area. Keep listening to it and getting excited for s3.

To have a clear picture of what users believe, today the question is being asked for a second time. Are you in favor or in opposition of the potential thread?
I will take the chance to thank Blind for being so cooperative.
This sounds like a wonderful idea! Thank you all so much for your hard work in this community!
Thank you for your gratitude!
You're very welcome!
And that's exactly why Telltale won't do it.

Clementine.
Forgive me for asking, but what is this link? It displays as "Page not found" for me.

Sure. If it helps organise comments and serves as a hub for small questions that need answered on any Telltale series, do it!

Awesome, thank you Blind! I'm so excited!
I heard telltale was working on a Marvel game. I assume that could be announced in these game awards, no?
That's what people are guessing, anyway. It's a 2017 release, and Telltale has announced their new series during the Game Awards of the previous year for a while now.
