That would piss me the fuck off. Like why is telltale trying so desperately to get the attention on Javier? I know its because they're tryin… moreg to capture a bigger audience but if you think about it they're only doing it because The Walking Dead in general is HUGE and they're trying to cash in on the Television fans/comic fans more, hence a NEW Frontier. Not to mention with Batman being popular, people that played that as thier first telltale game are gona look into this The Walking Dead game.Honestly telltale at this point seems to care WAY more about getting new fans into this season(and new fans in general) then satisfying the fans that have been waiting forever for season 3, and yet they cant even call it season 3....I just hope this season doesn't end up being to close the comics/tv you know? But the fact they seem to be drawing attention away from clem and the other seasons is really worrying me about the future of this series.

Like why is telltale trying so desperately to get the attention on Javier?
Maybe because he's the main protagonist and way too many people are still focusing solely on Clementine?
I know its because they're trying to capture a bigger audience but if you think about it they're only doing it because The Walking Dead in general is HUGE and they're trying to cash in on the Television fans/comic fans more, hence a NEW Frontier.
Clementine is actually the real cash in, she's only in it so that more fanboys buy the game simply because Clementine. There's no reason for her to be there. With what we assume so far, she's only in the game so we can interact with the Clementine we helped shape during Season 1 and 2, which is not a bad thing, but not necessary for Javier's story.
Not to mention with Batman being popular, people that played that as thier first telltale game are gona look into this The Walking Dead game.
And that's bad...why?
Honestly telltale at this point seems to care WAY more about getting new fans into this season(and new fans in general) then satisfying the fans that have been waiting forever for season 3, and yet they cant even call it season 3
This is completely untrue. As I said, Clementine is only in the game to attract old fans that already played as her and Lee protecting her. I'm not even against Clementine being in the game, but a new direction was sorely needed after the complete lackluster that was Season 2. And I see no problem with them not naming the game "Season 3". It's the same reason why Mass Effect Andromeda isn't called Mass Effect 4: It's not a direct continuation. TWD A New Frontier isn't part 3 in Clementine's trilogy, it's a new iteration that happens to feature Clementine.
I just hope this season doesn't end up being to close the comics/tv you know?
It will be closer to the comics than the previous Seasons, but that honestly doesn't mean much. It won't be that close to the comics, probably just a few cameos and the game taking place in the general Virginia area. If anything, this will actually make the story of the game feel more important and not as completely detached as Season 1 and 2.
But the fact they seem to be drawing attention away from clem and the other seasons is really worrying me about the future of this series.
Again, just false. Clementine is the second biggest person in the key art, only Javier is bigger, and he's the main protagonist. She's also in all but one Screenshot, same as Javier. People are being dramatic for no reason.

or infact, they make the first couple of episodes before they release the first one so if something does go wrong with one of the later episodes they have 3 or 4 months to fix it instead of just 1
As a matter of fact, they probably do. Just because they play an episode together doesn't necessarily mean it's complete.
However, unfini… moreshed is a broad term. It could mean they have most things done, but maybe some audio isn't hooked up yet. Or maybe a few models that aren't completely finished. Maybe some missing lip sync, or missing animations. Maybe the voice acting isn't completely finished. All kinds of possibilities.
For fucks sake, the game isn't even out yet and you're already complaining? Yes, the story is going to be about Javier (give him a chance, would you?) but Clem will be by his side possibly the entire game. We still get to play as Clem, don't fucking worry. It's good that this game happens to revolve around Javier, with Clem having a huge influence, because it's really fucking hard to create a good 12 year old protagonist.

I hope the entire 8 min preview is just Kenny walking out of the woods, looking out over an edge, sun setting and shining upon him as his glorious beard floats in the wind as he stares into the beyond.
Listen I love Clementine..but this franchise cannot rest on the shoulders of one character..The Walking Dead is best when you have multiple characters you give a damn about. Javier may be a cool dude...we do not know what he is like yet. They have stated that this season is about Javier trying to get family back..but also he is trying to unravel just who Clementine is. She is not in it as a minor character...she is important to the story...but so is Javi..and we have to give him a fair shake.

I've written an email to PlayStation support and I have rather bad news We'll be able to download bonus games 48h-24h before release of season 3. We have to be patient.
Try and be a bit realistic here. They wont just kill off kenny, just like that. They'd probably find a way to make a connection with the plot and kenny, and possibly even keep him in the plot. I can see clementine dying, but not kenny. They'll make kenny's death mysterious, kinda like season 1.
Well since he is a determinant character he's going to be included, but I don't think it will have any major effect on the plot. Probably just lines, a scene of Jane/Kenny falling victim to similar situations.

I know it will but the fact that it will already be Friday and in the time ill be sleeping kind of sucks ;p
I was anticipating it to be Thursday for me and not Friday for me.
yes I also think it will be possible to watch the complete live stream uploaded on game awards youtube channel... anyway the footage won't be out of the world.
Do we know for sure there is an 8 minute preview? Or is that just because of Job's tweet? I'll say 8 for now but if this 8 minute preview is for real, then yeah, I would at like 11+.

I was watching a YouTube video on theories for the and one person said in the comments on the key art in the crowd of walkers you can see the walker version of Clementines babysitter Sandra probably as a mini Easter egg.

Another reason is because the model of Sandra is used as a background zombie when there's large groups of them (IE any scenes that feature a herd).
Basically, they have 2D pictures of zombies that move around slightly in the background, which give the illusion of a larger crowd. Sandra is one of the zombie models they use for this.
You see her? Second from the left.
They also use her in S2, although they slightly recolored her.

I'm gonna keep myself from watching any further trailers (at least until I play the episode) and the stream to surprise myself with the story. That way I can have a full experience.

Now I REALLY want it to be just about Javier.
Didn't stop Job from calling it Season 3.
I don't mind if they put the spotlight on Javier. We already know Clementine, I think giving some love to our new playable protagonist doesn't hurt.

It's not.

So has anything come up regarding save importing from last gen to current gen?
Nothing has been confirmed yet but they will be announcing details soon.
Year for me it is also at 3:00 am ...so I can not watch it )-;
kenny wont be in it. I dont care if you say "well not for some peoples games!" he's dead.

That's odd, considering I was able to download my games.
TFW you cave and decide to watch the sneak peak tonight.
Seriously, I can't wait to see what they choose to show us!!!

Okay, on a scale of one to ten who's excited for this 8 minute preview thingy? Cause I'm pretty sure it's a strong 11 over here >.> <.<
It will very likely be reuploaded by Telltale later onto their YouTube channel. Don't fret.
Nate: "I give it a strong six."
Please Nate, come back for New Frontier.
I know it will but the fact that it will already be Friday and in the time ill be sleeping kind of sucks ;p

Replace Norman Reedus with Gavin Hammon:
For me it is clearly a 10 ... but I am also excited for everything else that could be announced at the game awards !!
They used the same "Extended Preview" phrasing for Michonne's six minute preview, so it definitely wouldn't be unprecedented.
And here we see a careful, inside shot of TheSloaningDead, standing in his yard awaiting the stream.
Oh, I didn't know that, that's a great sign! I'll say 10 then!
I was watching a YouTube video on theories for the and one person said in the comments on the key art in the crowd of walkers you can see the walker version of Clementines babysitter Sandra probably as a mini Easter egg.
Not gonna watch the preview unfortunately because I don't want anything spoiled. Anyone know if there is gonna be another trailer?
There will probably be a trailer like a week or two before the release.
Or just a re-used model.
Probably

Yeah, they aren't really meant to be seen up close.
Also, did they just slightly change the colors on the site? As I'm typing this, I swear it looks brighter. The reply button and stuff.
There are rumours that lee's past will be a apart of this game
This this season i mean
