Yeah, they aren't really meant to be seen up close.
Also, did they just slightly change the colors on the site? As I'm typing this, I swear it looks brighter. The reply button and stuff.
I'm excited for this. The scenes we'll view will likely hold negligible spoilers, so I'm not concerned on that front. I can't wait to see those new graphics in motion, and the more official introduction of Javier. With regards to Clementine, at the most I could see teasing towards her at the preview's conclusion. Personally, I'm enthusiastic.
Watch it after going on here and seeing people's general reactions right after or while the footage is showcased. If it is, against all odds, very spoiler-y, then don't watch it. If it's not too spoiler-y - get hype!
I'm seeing that too (and the color of the text as you type it into the message reply box is also brighter). I'm guessing that some parts of the site are going to get a visual revamp when/if Telltale announces a new game tonight. They've made changes to the site for Batman and again with New Frontier getting its launch date revealed, so I guess they might be rolling out some more changes for tonight. It would make sense with how users were reporting changes elsewhere, such as having some temporary issues (indicating that they might evidently be changing things under the hood).

I assume this means you'll be able to pick and choose important choices from the previous games when creating a new save? That's really cool if that's the case, and something people have been wanting for a while.
I'm guessing the main focus will be on which Season 2 ending you got. I can't imagine too many of the other choices being important on a large story altering scale, outside of the typical minor/moderate story tailoring.

TWD: Michonne had a similar "extended preview" that was basically spoiler free. I expect it to be the same, except with some general character building/background for Javier instead of Michonne. If you are worried about any kind of spoilers to the extent that that is what is stopping you, I wouldn't really dwell on it and I'd recommend watching it. I'd say it should depend more on less if you want to go in with a completely blank slate or not.
It's pretty obvious the "flashbacks" are going to revolve mainly around being tailored to your Season 2 ending. I don't see why Telltale would waste time showing flashbacks of events from Season 1 or earlier before Season 2's ending.
I would guess they choose one of the endings from Season 2 by default, probably the "Clem is Alone" ending since that would have the lease amount of baggage for new players to catch up on.
HOLY SHIT I am so glad they are creating a quick-tailor option to handle past choices. Telltale saved data is notoriously buggy and prone to corruption, I am SO glad we can just choose our major decisions, THANK YOU Telltale.

Damn. After reading this huge, well thought out, super detailed comment, I have to watch it. Thank you for persuading me. You have done it. This is all I needed.
This time we can see another dev playing the game but this time he was playing for only an hour from 20:50 to 21:50.
Now this is all the specualtion I can think of:
1. He was playing the episode from start to finish. Which will turn out to be an hour long episode
2. He was playing the episode from start but not untill finish. Which will probably still mean an hour and half long episode based on the same person playing from 2 days ago.
3. The previous person that was playing 2 days ago for one and a half hours came back to finish the episode. Which can turn out to be a 2 hour and a half long episode if its true which i kind of doubt
4. Probably not playing the episode but rather testing the game and checking for performance issues so we don't have fps problems on the release of the episode like happened with the Batman game.
5. Or the person could be playing episode 2 this time as Job said Episode is kind of ready but its not confirmed if its fully ready or not.
Now I'm not saying that any of this is confirmed or something, That's just a straight up speculation and overthinking about what can possibly be.
I know what I'm about to say will probably turn bs when the preview comes out and I know there will be a lot of Javier action in it (preview… more) but I am still one of those people who umm... think.. uh..
fuck it
I think Javier will be a pussy or a somewhat weak character (aka pussy).
Anyone else with me?
People tried observing playtimes for previous Telltale episodes before they were out, and they don't often turn out accurate. I would not really look too much into things. I would expect the episode to average out somewhere around 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours.
Another day another speculation.

My guess is that they noticed the "Restart Episode" bug, which fucks up your save file, and just removed the rewind feature in order to prevent too many players from experiencing the bug, since many most likely wouldn't be interested in replaying an entire episode just to see different variations.

That would piss me the fuck off. Like why is telltale trying so desperately to get the attention on Javier? I know its because they're tryin… moreg to capture a bigger audience but if you think about it they're only doing it because The Walking Dead in general is HUGE and they're trying to cash in on the Television fans/comic fans more, hence a NEW Frontier. Not to mention with Batman being popular, people that played that as thier first telltale game are gona look into this The Walking Dead game.Honestly telltale at this point seems to care WAY more about getting new fans into this season(and new fans in general) then satisfying the fans that have been waiting forever for season 3, and yet they cant even call it season 3....I just hope this season doesn't end up being to close the comics/tv you know? But the fact they seem to be drawing attention away from clem and the other seasons is really worrying me about the future of this series.
I still get worried every day about Kenny.. I'm sure this 8-minute preview will be on the 'Clem & AJ Ending' but I'd love to find out if Kenny stars in the premiere (I don't want Jane to be on it at all).. because........................ reasons................ and she's just dead to me.
Either with Kenny & AJ, or with AJ for the premiere please.
I know it will be the final episode we'll see Kenny.. we might not even see him at all, maybe in a flashback. But please Telltale give him a honorable death, not some booboo thing like he gets snuck up on (Like in S2E5) and nearly bit or attacked by bandits and killed (Like Christa in S2E1).
Either have him sacrifice himself to save Clementine from a Walker or Bandits will be fair but still not that honorable death I want for him, actually I don't want him to die at all.. never should have been killed off in the first place!

you also thought lee was alive so....
Wow, you're right.
Rumors coming from people who have not followed the project at all and just read "TWD game" = LEE or "flashbacks" = LEE.

Job regarding save file transfer
Ha, beat you to it, sucker
What it feels like to be two seconds too late.

Ten okay. Ten, you psycho.

^ This.

Default? Does he mean an ending that is completely separate from everyone else's?
You've been waiting two years for thease at eight minutes. Watch it. You deserve it.
I would guess they choose one of the endings from Season 2 by default, probably the "Clem is Alone" ending since that would have the lease amount of baggage for new players to catch up on.
It's Dragon Age Keep all over again. I loved and hated that thing.

That's it. I want to be blind to the game but God knows I barely have patients.

I hope that there is a rewind in this game. Really missed that feature in Batman.

I need this game....now!!

Some link where it will be transmitted live?
What could it add to the story?

Please yes. Don't exactly understand why they removed that in the first place.
I'm not saying that any of my words are true as nothing is confirmed.
Its straight up an overthinking.

Sensing sarcasm cause I realized how many words I misspelled, and I apologize. But I'm glad I persuaded you! Did I? I'm confused.
I can't wait until the game comes out and then everyone suddenly loves Javier just like the Borderlands fandom did with Rhys xD
