Like, if you killed Kenny or not I guess. And maybe if you wanna change your choice, not everyone played through it multiple times, even if … morethey disliked their ending.
I would be surprised if there was anything noticeable to configure besides Kenny and Jane's fates, perhaps Bonnie's.
That's too bad. Though we do get a huge "premiere story" to go with it... I'm glad we get 2 episodes on the same day, but it just means that there are less episodes to release afterwords, so the Season could be over by April!
I still want to know, what they mean with "the Premiere was to big." How big? And is it big on Telltale's new Standard, where the Episodes were like 1h 45min - 2h long or to big in their Old one, where every Episodes were like 3 hours long.
They'll probably just have the configuration be a run down of some of the bigger choices across the series

They have already confirmed that they're doing it, or at least something similar to this with the choices that actually matter for A New Frontier...stuff like Doug/Carley, for example, is probably irrelevant.

i've been thinking. If they didnt kill off Jane/Kenny (if they did survive), wouldn't it be weird to see them in the new engine? I'm curious, and i want my kenny to survive
(sorry for my bad englando, not a native speaker)
So I'm assuming you can buy the first episode for $5 then you can go pay another $5 for episode 2 because when I first heard I was stupid and thought telltale would make the game $10 so you would have to buy both but they would not do that.

It honestly doesn't surprise me, there are 16 year old individuals who are perceived to look like they're in their mid 30's and there are 40 year old individuals that look like young adults. Appearance doesn't equate age after all
Plot twist.
The reason why Telltale named the first two episodes Ties That Bind Part 1 and 2 is because they couldn't think of five new three worded titles.
I'm kind of tempted to only play the first episode and then come here to say what I think will happen next, then maybe the next day play the next episode. But there will probably be too many spoilers since everyone's gonna play the episodes back to back.
Aside from "Ties That Bind – Part One" and "Ties That Bind – Part Two," will there be three or four episodes in A New Frontier?
Are you there, @mostlypoptarts?

I'm fine with it. It probably just means that the first two episodes will be based on Javier meeting up with Clementine, hence the name. But it makes me feel like I'm getting one less episode. I doubt it but i'd love if they surprised us with 6 episodes instead of 5.
They'd probably come up in a similar manner to the part in episode 4(?) or 5(?) right after the bite, where people go or dont go with you depending on how you helped them. I dunno how though.

They're probably going to part first episode to let people get accustomed with Javier, and to let people know what happened to Clem. I'm thinking it's only the first episode.

Oh no that means the season is going to last over a span of only 4 months VS season 2 which lasted nearly 9 months... That's too fast. I always thought I wanted quick released but this is too much for me to swallow at once. I don't want it to end.
Not to mention that the discussion for "Part One" and the speculation for "Part Two" will be overshadowed by the discussion itself of the second episode.

Well call me a teenage girl at the backstage of an Aerosmith concert, it's not like Telltale to release two episodes of the same game in one day. This is quite a pleasant surprise. Looks like our Christmas is gonna be an awesome one.
Because it wasn't fake. My guess is that the decision to split the first episode up happened in the last few weeks, tops. Certainly after the November announcement in early September. The most likely reason for the one month delay is the fact that Telltale prepared the second episode to release alongside the first one.

Man, that was intense! it wasn't too spoilery which is good. It's left me wondering, however, exactly what seperated Javier from his family in the first place? According to Kevin at the game awards, they were seperated since the beginning of the outbreak, so you'd assume that they got seperated a little bit after what happened in the gameplay footage. I can't see him leaving them of his own free-will given how desperate he seemed to get back to them in the first place.
Oooh makes sense now. Thanks.
If this did release in November as originally planned, we'd still get Episode 2 by the 20th I'd assume, so this is just a compromise so that they aren't behind on schedule.

A lot is bound to have happened from then to now. That's the beginning of the outbreak and I think A new Frontier takes place four or five years into it.
I just hope David survives, he seems really cool to me.

That was from a 2015 job offer iirc. The decision to split Episode 1 up (and resulting from that, the renaming) probably was decided on in the past few weeks.

Yeah, used for jokes like when Bigbby opens a door and when Carver opens a door.

We'll have to wait for 3, not 4
It'd be so nice of them

The former probably. I'm thinking it will be two 90min episodes.

Yeah kind of weird they named the episodes part one and part 2 because all five episodes count as "parts" and just the word episode is enough.
I'm kind of tempted to only play the first episode and then come here to say what I think will happen next, then maybe the next day play the next episode. But there will probably be too many spoilers since everyone's gonna play the episodes back to back.

Already confirmed that both count as seperate episodes. Only three episodes remaining afterwards.
I guess 3

That's the name of episode 3, most likely.

Sooooooo...they said 8 MIN preview...what happened to that? Either way still hyped as fuck we got something
It is a good thing I learned Spanish from this guy.
To those who get the reference.

"My little baby, off to destroy people."
Three months, actually. It would be four months if there were four more episodes (see Batman, August - December).
Hell, she looks cool, but she doesn't really look like Clem.

Maybe they will do like Maicra and add surprise episodes later...

Only $10? We have to pay $50!
Yeah for sure, just wondering what could have happened to seperate them.
The VA for David sounds familiar, I can't place him though.
