I misread the first comment as "People always want more than they're given", which is true for most people if you're realistic. But "the opposite" doesn't make much sense, if you're given a mansion, you won't want a shack on the street corner.
"To either get help from your Clementine, or mayb she's in a-- maybe in a situation where you don't want her help. Where she's not... (Probably going to say she doesn't want to help you) ...You know why she's behaving the way she is, but you kind of wish she wasn't. It's a very conflicting thing."
Welp, I guess that all but confirms this was one of the reasons they delayed the game a month - not that I'm complaining, as it's great that they are launching New Frontier in a better state than Batman had launched in.

Angry emotional teenage Clementine confirmed!
Performance improves some even if you don't tinker with any of the settings. If you use certain settings, though, performance skyrockets without compromising the graphics quality too much at all, to the point of barely even being a notable extent.

Kenny and Jane are not what make or break this game for me. I'm fully aware of the fact that they're dead in the present time storyline, but that doesn't mean we can't get a statisfying conclusion to their characters during the playable flashbacks. I have high hopes for the game and am glad that we're playing as a new character and Clementine, because while I want to find out what happened to her, I didn't enjoy playing as her in Season 2, at least not the way Telltale treated her. Also, maybe it's just me, but in my opinion Telltale got a lot better in general after TWD Season 2. I can honestly say that I enjoyed all but one post Season 2 game more than Season 2 and TWAU, and I enjoy Batman and Tales from the Borderlands more than TWD Season 1. I'm hyped and very hopeful for this game.
I honestly think we won't even see Jane or Kenny in Season 3. Clementine will probably just have a few different lines of dialogue depending on your ending. That's the easiest way to deal with it. Though i would love to see Wellington.

I was playing a few of the episodes, and I noticed that a lot of the sound issues (audio muting out) seem to have been fixed.
I never noticed any other notable bugs outside of sound issues, personally. Besides some of the choices/dialogue not registering correctly. Can't tell if those are fixed yet or not, since I haven't gotten to them. The thing about Alfred chewing you out for 'beating up' that guy at the docks still happens, though.
The first TWO of five episodes in The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier will premiere digitally worldwide starting Tuesday December 20th on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, iOS, and Android-based devices. We expect to have info on release dates for additional platforms in the near future too.
If the sound issues are actually fixed then that's great! But what about the stuttering Batmobile scene in Episode 3 and the Codex bug in Episode 1 that literally breaks the game?

Hey y'all. I just wanted to drop some thoughts on what the trailer and the reactions to the trailer.
I personally loved the trailer. It had sorrow, terror, and of course, Clem. Javier feels like he's going to be a character who has a lot of regret. He wasn't there in time to help his father, which resulted in his mother's death. That's some shitty stuff right there.
Then Clem bursts through the damn door ready to kick some ass. Amazing. I love her toned down and adult voice; Melissa Hutchinson is going to a great job. Her clothing is lit too.
I knew that some people were going to be butt hurt about Kenny/Jane not appearing, but guys, listen/read. Telltale went through the struggle of creating a quick save creation for Clem's back story. Your season 2 choices will matter. Jane and Kenny will appear. It's not just like they suddenly didn't exist. Same with AJ. While he wasn't in the trailer, maybe he's with Jane/Kenny. Telltale even said something like "You may not want her help or maybe she doesn't want to help you." Aka your choices shall mathere folks.
As with two episodes coming out of five, I'll admit I'm a little nervous, but I know Telltale can land this. 3/3.5 hours of game play is going to be so worth the wait guys. Just hold on.

No one ever said that she will not be playable in present timeline it was just a speculation, i think she will be playable in both present and flashbacks sort of like it was in TFTB when we play as Fiona and Rhys in the same timeline!
We know Clementine is seeking revenge so maybe the community Javier and his siblings are apart of are the ones that wronged her in the past.… more
She might be taking him as an hostage so her group/community has bargain. I'm assuming they eventually bond in their time together.
Now, if Clementine is indeed not playable in the present timeline, then this is a really interesting set-up. The person/people who hurt Clem might be Javier's relatives and friends who were probably unjustified. Javier will have this dilemma between choosing to protect his family from Clem and the people she's with, or to just let fate decide everything. Our Clem might show more mercy and compassion on the people who did some bad shit depending on our choices from past Seasons and in the flashbacks.
Or maybe she's not taking him hostage at all. I don't think it's that clear.
If the save system is like I think it is, It would be nice If they'd let us start the game before the 20th so we could choose what we want before the episodes release.
Now, if Clementine is indeed not playable in the present timeline...
I honestly would prefer that Clementine is only kept playable for the flashback segments. I think it would be way more entertaining to see Clementine act solely based on how we played as her in the past seasons. But don't worry, chances are it'll not happen and I'm ok either way.

I Wonder if there also be Episode 3-4 release in one day. xD
And i'm also wondering will there be Previously On Episode 1 scene at the beginning of Ep2?
So I have a quick question, obviously alot of the animations do appear that they are mo-capped, and a lot of people have been saying it is, but has it actually been confirmed that alot of the animations are indeed mo-capped?
They are? I noticed a lot of new movements/ detailed movements but I never thought Telltale did mo-cap.
Edit: As of 2014 they don't use mo-cap: ArthurV -Telltale Staff We do not use mocap. We're fortunate to have amazing animation and choreography teams to breathe life into our characters. :-)

Poogers that is crazy talk...plus if they did MoCap...it would have been something they would have done for Batmaan and we would have heard it mentioned.

That probably won't be necessary. It will probably only be a 10-20 minute process. It'll probably be like the Dragon Age Keep from Dragon Age Inquisition, in which you could either import saves from previous games or just select the options through a short little cutscene.

I didnt think they were, just I kept reading that it was all over the place but could never find a source that it was indeed confirmed to be mo capped.

Kenny ruins the game again lol, what a surprise. : p

Looks like the walker was already having a tough time before Clem even put it down.
whoops my hand slipped
Does the patch actually fix things? Performance? Bugs?

This makes me incredibly happy. They actually fixed their shit! Thank God for that!
Now what about them bugs tho.
Two parters are a thing.
It happens in television all the time.

Guy (alive): "id give an arm and a leg for this plague to stop"
Guy (undead): "why did i say that shit"
This walker kind off reminds me of Billy Yoder from Telltale's Jurassic Park.
Kenny... Jane... Wellington... Multiple endings. Do they ring a bell telltale?

she's gonna be edgy as fuck
Moderator has they not mentioned the release date for Xbox 360 users yet?

I guess now i understand why you Delayed it from November to Decmeber!

Has telltale said anything about pre loading the game before launch?
I haven't checked the thread in a while, let's see what's going o-
two episodes?!

Your not alone. Im just not vocal about it.
TTG is trying to serve far to many masters here.
Clem stans (innocent/badass versions)
Javi stans
Kenny stans
Jane stans
No way everyone comes out happy, and the most likely scenario is no one comes out happy.
Oh god
