If that's the case it's a d### move from telltale to say it's a 5 episodic game. (I have read it somewhere about 5 episodes)
Sure there are 5 episodes in theory but not real 5 episodes. Episode 1 is both episode one and two. So.... I don't hope this is what telltale is doing.
I don't think this is the case. I think that they had all of the episodes ready, 1-5, and thought you know what "Episodes 1 and 2 act like a premier." Premieres are sort of like intros. They give you enough information to go off of. Now that episode 1 and 2 already acted like a premier because there wasn't enough time to put enough information in the the first episode (Because they have SO MUCH TO TELL) the premiere leaked into the second one. Hence, the delay and release of both episodes on the same day. I doubt they downright deleted an episode.
That's...kind of disappointing. Its good for waiting time, bad for a shorter season.
Its like what @TWDazehnuu said earlier.
"Did they just openly admit to getting rid of an entire episode?"
I...think they did.

This particular situation falls down to how you want to look at it. Its a half-glass moment. Empty or full?
The way I see it, I just wanna fucking play the game at this point.
That's what's in MY glass.
If we go with the situations that happened before where they released trailers 2 weeks before the game release.
I hope we get one tomorrow. If we do actually get a trailer besides the preview we got.
It's only speculation but Telltale hasn't said much about how Clem will interact with Javier so it's really all up in the air. Telltale did say, however, that Javier may not want her help meaning that something we do in the flashbacks would affect the present day. I think it would be rather interesting.
You guys think the other guy that showed up in the screenshots (and key art) could be David?
You don't see the guy's face directly, but they seem to have a similar shape.
Nah, I just bought a bundle during the Humble Bundle Sale (buying on that site gives you two keys, 1 for the Telltale store and one for Steam), I still have TWAU (1 Steam Key), TWD S2 (1 Telltale Code), TFTB (1 Telltale Code) and GOT (1 Steam Key and 1 Telltale Code).

I sure hope so too. Sassy Clem made season 2 great for me. And I don't think TT would want to hold back on making Clem really Sassy and Badass . I can't wait to see as Clem unleash her awesome verbal burns on me (While playing as Javier). That would be fucking hilarious. really can't wait now!!
I was wondering what time of year will it be in twd season 3. In season 1 it was kind of mid-fall kind of time and in season 2 it was a tough wintery setting, but it looks really conflicting for this season. I mean in the teasor we see some kind of summer or early fall as the time of the year.
and in the gameplay Clem is wearing a warm looking jacket
and there's some sort of fog too!! And this clearly looks as if it's a bit cold.
I think it will be between late fall and early winter. but I'm not sure. what do y'all think?
Telltale did say, however, that Javier may not want her help
Wait, they said that? But aren't we playing as Javier? Wouldn't we decide how we want to react to Clem and if we want her help or not? And they did say Javier is the focus of the story... And that we will be playing as Clem as well, but it might not be in the same time frame, which is why it made people think she will be playable only in flashbacks. Which makes sense, to be honest. I don't see how it could work to play as both Clem and Javier in the present day if the story is about Javier. Unless he is captured or something and Clem has to go save him (à la Dragon Age Origins).

well, we already had a winter(season 2) and season one looked like it was fall? maybe summer??? I don't know exactly what time of year it is in season 3 but since it takes place in the same area in the current comics were still kinda up north so its gonna be chilly regardless.

The Teaser we saw with Clem and Javier working together was just that...a teaser..it used a different Clementine model...perhaps one that we see in flashbacks and they younger Javier that we will see at the beginning...you notice that Javier looks older in the scene he is Clem's prisoner. Think of the teaser as a tech demo. And I hope it is early fall...poor Javier has no coat.

Ok, well, for all the people confused about whatever's going on with the Episode 1 - parts one and two, and how it affected Telltale's whole epiosodic scheme, I kind of think I have it figured out:
So nowadays, Telltale is doing less "player feedback" when developing their new episodes. My guess is that TTG sat down to write the general plot of the season, to then develop each idea for each episode -- ("point one is the premiere episode, this section will be in episode 2... Etc, etc.") But they ran into one problem. With what they have to tell in the premiere episode, it exceeds their 2 hour limit where you can easily play it in one sitting.. So they decided the plot was big enough to split in two parts. Now, all this means is that they made a concious decision to have the first two episodes about setting up the story, while keeping the plot cohesive enough to spread across the other 3 eps.
Or, it was just a simple name change and it's to compensate for their delay of last month's premiere.
Either way, they're Telltale. The king of episodic gaming. They know what they're doing, and I'm sure they don't want the same complaints as Season 2. So trust them, please trust them.
Considering ANF takes place in Virginia and I'm a fellow Virginian, I can tell you that weather here makes no sense. In the past two weeks, we have gone from sunny around 50F, to uppers 70s, back down to 40s, and now we're rainy in the 50s. The warmer look of the teaser and the colder look of this new trailer could literally be hours apart.

Maybe... it's Javier's coat.
And when Clem took him hostage she probably took his coat (because she was feeling cold) like a motherfucking badass
edit: just wanted to add something. maybe they will use the same model for Clem except the one in the teasor will when she takes off that coat and they probably added the beard on Javier to make him look a little more badass because tbh he looked like a pussy

Yeah I'm dying to play this damn thing already. I wonder if they're going to release another trailer or more screenshots.
I would guess a launch trailer on the 19th or 20th december.
I'd say a launch trailer towards release is probably all that we're getting, since we're 15 days away now.

Many people say main character is Javier and we will play just in flashbacks with Clementine. Is it true?
It would be cool if this seasen has 12 episodes or 10 or 8 i would like to see clem cut of her hand because she is bitten or lose her eyes like kenny

You like to see Clem hurt?
Can i have the code for the walking dead seasen 1 please coz i never played it
Guys anyone could send me a code in steam so i can play seasen 1
well... no wonder your username is Demon King
I agree with Daze. I also think that kid is named Jason, because I remember someone saying that name in the trailer.
I'm not entirely sure who else it could be, maybe David.
.............. Do you have a Steam account?
Yes o.o
(Sent the code to you)
Oh my god.
Thank you so much man, I really appriciate it.
Do you have like a dispenser for Telltale games?
Clementine looks and sounds weird in S3.

Thanks for answering my question. I saw that in many places and i was curious if it was true or not. And yeah i am agree with you.
Ah okay, That's very nice of you to just give them out to people.
I really appriciate that man
I hope there's sassy dialogue options for Clementine.
Her roast on Rebecca (S2E1) was so good.

Isn't this the scene she says "thank you"?
Or "A New Day," the third third of "Long Road Ahead" and "No Going Back."

idk bout that bro, but if I don't get 4 more episodes after the premier (which I probably won't) I will be fucking sad
