To be fair, it makes sense. It's the most neutral ending of them all.
If you want a 'default' ending for players new to the series, it makes sense to go with the ending that has the least loose ends to it. The most 'fresh' one that someone new to the series could start with, without getting too lost in what's going on.
The alone ending arguably requires the least amount of knowledge of the first two seasons; you're not with any particular characters from the previous seasons (sans Clem and AJ, obviously), and you're not at any particular location from the previous seasons.
Like, imagine if someone hopped right into S2 without playing S1. The death of Omid at the beginning wouldn't really have much of an impact on that person, right? They don't know the character like players of S1 do, so they won't have the same reaction to his death. If you started someone with Kenny/Jane, and have them get some sad death sequence or you get separated from them in some emotional scene, a new player would be a bit lost, or just have an underreaction. The alone ending spares them that trouble, for better or worse.
i am not starting "shit" over anything. can i (and other users in general) for once mention kenny and jane in same post without people getting triggered over it? let it go.
I love how people ever assumed that our choices won't matter without proof and keep doing so despite all evidence pointing towards the oppos… moreite. Besides, your ideas of choices mattering seem completely unrealistic tbh. Not even AAA titles like Mass Effect change that much with your choices, so people seemingly expecting 3+ different plotlines is just ludicrous. Clementine's personality changing depending on your choices is exactly what should happen, I really hope no one is actually expecting a different plot for every ending. Also, don't start shit over Kenny and Jane, please.

it was a joke, buddy
really
it was a drawn out joke that went to comically unnecessary lengths to get the point across, because i thought it would be amusing
from the looks of it, it may not have worked on you
which is unfortunate
man
you got me good, mac
that was a really good joke though
even with specific little details
it's really sad how I cannot see how jokes work around this chat
anymore
if you sided with shit characters (like kenny, etc) she might act like a mean bitch to javier and other characters, but if you sided with good ones (jane) she might be nicer.
i love how people just assume that our choices are gonna matter now. those 42 starting point might just affect clems personality. example: i… moref you sided with shit characters (like kenny, etc) she might act like a mean bitch to javier and other characters, but if you sided with good ones (jane) she might be nicer.
i am actually tempted to start a new story. maybe its best if we ignored that season 2 ever happened. although after seeing that action packed (not a good thing) new trailer i am not optimistic about this one either.

There are 42 different “starting points”, that include not just your ending but the relationships you had with different characters and the style of player you are.
W-w-what??? Our choices matter!! They... fucking... matter!!!! 42 starting points???? I'm hyperventilating! I need CPR!!
Hell yes!! They mention Jane and Kenny, meaning for sure if you chose 1 of them, they'll be with you! Makes me wonder, though, they have several ways to kill/leave Kenny and few to kill/leave Jane. Like Jane dies by Kenny or is left by Clementine. Kenny dies by Clementine after killing Jane, dies by Clementine to save Jane, is left by Clementine, or leaves Clementine at Wellington. Why so many ways to lose Kenny, compared to Jane....? Even if you go with Kenny, you have 2 choices, stay with him or leave him. With Jane, your two choices are to accept new people or don't. Makes me wonder how those endings will play out.
42 starting points. Wow. Fairly certain most of them will be just little touches, but even so it's still impressive.
I guess we can assum… moree Jane and Kenny are still alive. Can't wait to see Jane again
That info made me really hyped, along with Jesus' appearance in the trailer.

I agree with EpicMustacheMan. Her personality and the way she looks at and handles things is the whole point of "Who's your Clementine?" Now if by Chance Wellington, Kenny, Jane, Jane + new family, or Clem raising AJ alone (Possibly disguised in walker blood) is included along with your choices, then great. But no one has a right to say "Shit characters (Like Kenny etc) and good people (Like Jane) .... I see no etc there. Seems to imply Jane is the only 'good' character. But Jane isn't good. Kenny lost his family legit. Jane ABANDONED HER SISTER. Kenny tried to help Lee find Clementine. Jane tried to convince Clementine to abandon Sarah. Kenny is still hurt over losing his family. Jane lies and starts drama in order to cover her own guilt. I love BOTH Kenny and Jane, but both have issues to deal with. Neither is good or shitty. -_-

Damn, I wasn't aware. Has there been a bug like that on PC? I remember there was a problem for all platforms that it would scew your choices if you rewound back in a chapter once.
I heard season 2 got an update that added a Telltale cloud to the game, do you know if thats true? If so Im going to need to dig up my half way dead pc and start up Season 2.
Edit: nvm I did this thing called clicking the above link and reading

Good theories. I think the questions will be based on choices with certain characters. I mean you can even promise Carver "Ok, I'll help you any way I can." Only for Kenny to force you to go against Carver anyway. Then you can choose to be ruthless bout Kenny bashing in Carver or ask him not to do it. You can watch or leave. Stuff like that must do something to a kid's mind.
Rebecca and Alvins perhaps, and Carver. Given that it's their kid she's carrying around.
Sarah perhaps, given that she's likely to encoun… moreter kids her age, or her age if she had survived.
I'd be surprised if her relationship with Luke and Nick didn't play some role in her character, the whole point of their arc was "family" and you could agree or reject that concept.
Perhaps Bonnie, given that she has a determinant fate and her character arc is about forgiveness and betrayal.
You actions around Arvo too, you can steal from him and you can agree that he's a liability or not several times as well, so perhaps that will impact some sort of "survival of the fittest" concept where Clementine might not flinch away from robbing people.

It ain't coming out for 360? Looks like I would have to get on PC as well if that's the case. Don't even know if this laptop will even be able to run it, lmao.

So I have to get Xbox Live Gold so I can enable cloud saves on Xbox 360 so I can upload my save file from season 2?
Oh true, I hadn't thought about those factors like how exactly did you abandon Kenny/Jane.
And yeah, there's lots more ways of killing or leaving Kenny than Jane. I mean, you can shoot him in the head just like that.
Not a Kenny fan but even I wouldn't do it tbh.
Telltale uses their own Cloud Save system.
I figured something similar to Dragon Age Keep would work.

I played Season 1 and 2 on PS3 and had no problems. Is it only issues on PS4?

They added an "Upload" function to the Walking Dead: Season 2 save selection menu.
I have the Upload-button, but how do I sign in to my Telltale account on XBox 360?
I wonder how many more comments and pages this thread will get.
I think 15k and 250 (heck let's just make it 300) are minimum. But please, don't blow Blind's feed up further trying to reach it.
Challenge accepted.

Well played. Nice to see some TWAU love.
You know what, I'm leaving the typo. This is perfect.
Clem looked so moody in all the screen shots but in the trailer she actually sounds and seems very friendly and sympathetic and caring.
