Yes, its the safe play.
I would hate him forever, and look to kill him at the first opportunity. But from a characters perspective, its understandable.
This forum is exhausting me with how unnecessarily pessimistic it has been this week. Everyone is looking for a reason to hate it before we even know anything about it. We don't even know the context of these images, or which of the 42 iterations of Clementine this is.
the more i see, less excited i get. why is clem pointing shotgun at javier? is that what lee sacrificed his life for? i guess my fear about her being unlikable comes true.
Yes. (And we don't know she's taking him for hostage yet.) Javier doesn't know who Clementine is. I don't expect him to. If she can hold a gun and make decisions then she is perfectly capable of causing harm (if those were her intentions). Nothing wrong with restraining a person who you don't know the intentions of.
See, had he done that to AJ, it would have been a different story,. But Clementine is more than capable so I wouldn't blame Javi for doing the same to her.
Its funny, but I've gone from one of the most pessimistic to being one of the most optimistic people in less than a week, and none of my opinions have changed.

Please realize I'm talking in the world of The Walking Dead, not in real life. In The Walking Dead you never know what someone might do. I would rather Clem take precautions and risk tying up a good guy than trusting everybody and risk trusting a murderer/rapist.
Restraining someone and pointing at them with a shotgun is taking somebody hostage! She might have valid reasons for doing so, and I am waiting until after the release to properly judge what she's doing.

She probably does have a valid reason.

So am I but like I said before, you just can't trust strangers in this world.
You've been waiting two months to use that again! You've kept it bookmarked all along, @Dont_Look_Back!

I'm going to expose your corruption!
Is anybody able to tell what happened to Clementine's finger? I can't tell if it's just normal scar tissue, or if it's scar tissue from a burn, but the way it's pinkish and distorted a little, it's seriously looking like the latter to me.
I really hope the finger only needed removing because it was badly damaged, and Clem had to just cauterize the wound afterwards. I swear if somebody chopped it off with hot scissors or something their ass is mine!

besides in the launch trailer she has it when she meets him.
But if the two are handcuffed, how do they cuff each other?

Very carefully, and with teamwork.
When specifically? Isn't that the scarf?

She didn't even know who Javier was, Maybe this is the first time they meet?
Sure!Javier will be so okay with her wearing his dead girlfriend's shirt!
I think they're talking about the scar above her right brow.
(My longest yeah boi ever)

We don't know this for sure yet. Until TTG says he's her hostage, I think she's just taking the necessary precautions.
wtf
Let the bodies hit the floor.
you are thinking the extended trailer...I meant the launch trailer that was released sunday.
What Javier is okay and not okay with doesn't matter

So then Telltale would just be hiding behind a wall then...That's kind of dissappointing
Im going to guess that the grave is one of Javier's family.
She probably does have a valid reason.

You're trying to trigger me and it's not working¿
I think it is working.

Oh shit now I see it. I was on a phone so I could hardly see.
Whoever did that has a big storm comin' for them.
You ran right into that one, Sleep. You should have known me better!
Edit: Yeah, at first it wasn't working too well...
(?) Sleep will remember that.
The lady in the last screenshot reminds me a bit of Amaya from Telltale's Game of Thrones. I hope she's just as cool as she was.

She could've just hidden in the bushes.
She didn't have to take him hostage.
Most survivor in twd don't trust strangers. Would you?
I don't know what cut it off but I know which character path might be to blame...
Darn it, Sleep!
Stop making it so technical! >:OOO
Distrusting a stranger and deliberately taking them hostage are two different things.
I hope this isn't a like the Michonne mini-series because it's starting to look like it.
How?
She looks like she wants nothing to do with angry Clementine.
Well hopefully it has the combat of Michonne and the tight story direction as well. But of course having more humor.
In what way? Michone's mini series had a lot of good to it.
