I feel you on that. I was definitely having my doubts the last few weeks, especially after the VGA preview. But between the fan feedback Wednesday and this, I'm more optimistic about the game than I've been in a while.
Its funny, but I've gone from one of the most pessimistic to being one of the most optimistic people in less than a week, and none of my opinions have changed.
So.. I new character? Everyone looks super worried here, and the new girl is like dafuq are you? Javier and his family trust Clementine enough to let her carry a gun.
Clementine is definetly either taking him hostage or doesn't trust him at all. Probably both.

Also, Javier is unarmed, maybe they don't trust them yet? That means there is trust among Clem, this two new guys... and Javier's nephew. How come they trust this kid but not Javier with a gun? Maybe he worked with them in secret? Or maybe they didn't have a gun for Javier. Whatever.

Ok, this one got me thinking. First, this place seems to be the same from the fourth screenshot, but I'm not sure. Clem is pretty pissed, while the... boy? Girl? idk I'll just call it character. Whatever, they seem scared of Clem (and I wouldn't blame them). They are probably around Clem's age, maybe older. Their face looks like a boy's, but the eyes are pretty femenine, and do they have boobs or it's my imagination? Maybe they're trans? EDIT: Also elvish ears because why not? Perhaps TellTale thought Clementine needed a partner in inmortality. Clem's future boyfriend/girlfriend? /jk
That's all, I guess. I'm probably missing a lot of things.
Seeing Clementine aiming a shotgun at Javier, and seeing one of the people that went to the london early premier saying she curses a lot the thing that comes to my mind is only this:
