I have no words for how terrible these two scenes are. Kenny's and Jane's models look ridiculously bad, the writing is shit, the scenarios make no sense. This is worse than Season 2, not gonna lie. Don't reply with further spoilers to this comment please (I haven't watched anything except these two scenes), but that was one of the laziest things I've ever witnessed.
For the first time, I find myself agreeing with people who say that Telltale just doesn't give a shit about TWD anymore because they know people will buy and praise it anyway, even if it's dogshit.
I knew it man... I knew Kenny was about to die in a cheap way.
I just watched Jane's death. I was shocked honestly.... uncharacteristic for her...
It was inevitable I guess.
What if... Kenny isn't dead after all and it's just a failed clone?!/!?!?!?
smh now it makes sense why you say that jane killing herself is not out of character

Stop trying to soften the loss of an awfully written first 2 episodes. What is that? 40% of the season that was executed poorly, and yet people will still justify it because being critical to things you may like is impossible to some people.
It looked weak before it was revealed how weak it actually very-well may be now.
Watched the first episode. It wasn't bad. Definitely more interesting than adventures of black ninja woman. Redhead is horny, Asian doc is horny, Clem... likes our protagonist. It's good to be Javier de la Hoya Fernandez Garcia.
Graphic is nice, some characters are beautiful, but some... Jesus, what have they done with Jane's face?! Her look was the reason she commited suicide. Also, girl from Javi's family resembles Clem too much. Kid is turning Carl.
I take it that Jane was suffering from depression before she realized she was pregnant? Her suicide didn't look planned to me, since she didn't leave behind much to say to Clementine besides the pregnancy test on the floor.
Yea she would, she's emotionally drained and now that she's pregnant... makes sense she'd kill herself. Jane doesn't want to bring a child into a zombie apocalypse.
Damn dude, it was only the third season.

These two scenes are. I don't need context to judge them. I didn't make a comment about the rest of the game because I haven't seen it yet. But I won't lie: Continuity errors like Clementine's age suddenly make a lot more sense, and my hype is slowly but surely dying the more I hear about the game.

That's fine, but first impressions are important. And you should acknowledge an issue with many people, myself included, that are this troubled with the initial lookover at the game's structure and ask why it's this bad.
It wasn't like this with either other season of TWD (not initially at least), so now why are people who (largely) loved both seasons so disappointed right off the bat with this new installment?
Not going to say much because i don't wanna get banned, but i'm unsure about this season. Short episodes aren't a deal-breaker for me, as there was another episodic game where the episodes were between 30-45 minutes with the finale being 2 hours long, and i still enjoyed those shorter episodes.
The thing that makes me unsure, is to me at least, the story is kind of cliché, with no real depth to it. Also the fact that telltale seem to have been using shock value to keep you invested rather than using a gripping story like they did in season 1 (although you could argue that things are more severe now as we are several years into the apocalypse). (Also the choices so far have been quite easy for me, no real gut wrenching hard decisions yet, for me at least)
Maybe i'm being too critical, as there are still 3 episodes to go, and i did like the episode 2 ending plot twist, so that's something.
Just hoping Season 3 is like Season 2, where the first few episodes left me unsure, before they picked it up in the final two episodes for a great finale.
"X will remember that" are sometimes red herrings, lulling you in a false sense of security that they'll live to bring up the subject again after remembering the choice you make, when suddenly the next scene they die.
What is the point of "Kenny/Jane will remember that." if they die 5 minutes later on in the game?
No seriously just why...? They are adding that sentence just to add up more in the game.
This is so fucked. I mean, we have two characters who were both huge influences in the game with one being there almost every episode and telltale decides to kill them off like that? Also, the models look stupid, Jane looks like a different person and it's messed up on both sides. You have Kenny who was able to survive what happened to his family and Sarita, somehow escape the alley way, recovery from getting beat to a pulp and now he dies by breaking his legs and getting chewed up? What the fuck, and then Jane hangs herself because she is pregnant with Luke's baby after all she went through with her sister and whats happened to her, she all of a sudden kills herself? That's not how Jane would be. I feel like telltale has now just killed off 2 really important characters and all for what? For a flashback just to continue a new story? Don't get me wrong, i like Javier, but Kenny and Jane more so Kenny had a big impact on the game and these deaths are just bullshit. Telltale is ruining this franchise. This is making season 2 look good now and that's saying something.
I like how Kenny teaching Clementine how to drive was his own downfall.
Man I still can't get over just how bad his death is. Basically killed in a driving lesson gone wrong. I mean how did the writers think that this would be a good idea? I don't know who's death is worse out of him and Jane tbh. Season 2 Jane would have laughed or be disgusted at the idea of suicide. Jane would never be that weak, lmao. Both set of fans got screwed.
I like how Kenny teaching Clementine how to drive was his own downfall.
Not only does he ask Clementine to drive faster than she needs to… more when she's still learning, he doesn't even use seat belts, which causes him to go through the windscreen and break his legs when the car crashes.
It's a miracle that both Clementine and baby AJ wasn't hurt or killed either...
I like how the game freezing in certain transitions from cutscene to gameplay is still there (talking about when the game freezes as it transitions from when Clem points her gun at walker!Jane before going to gameplay.

Bit off topic but I wanted to ask who the new frontiers leader is but nowhere else to ask so sorry for the off topic lol
I hate to say I called it that this season would more likely than not be disappointing, but I fucking called it.

Keep double posting lately
Damn dude its only 2 episodes in
Where did you watch it?I want to watch it as well. The ending with the family and without the family too.Just don't spoil me now.
smh now it makes sense why you say that jane killing herself is not out of character
But...dumpster senpai
Yeah...jokes aren't your expertise, are they?
You only watched two scenes and think its completely terrible?
Damn dude, it was only the third season.

It's not Lilly. It's David I guess.

I guess its awful to you but maybe my opinion and others is different.

Agreed these scenes aren't very good but I'm gonna wait till tomorrow to decide

Javiers brother?

Meh...End of Season 2 disappointed me and so is this so far. Tbh, I liked the graphics in the first two seasons a lot more, anyone else agree?
Clem looks good but I shat myself when I saw Kenny and Jane.
I laughed so fucking hard when it showed her big dumb mug flailing with a noose around her stupid neck...
That was hilarious.

Yes
So he's the bad guy?
Daaammmmnnnn son.....
Yup.
I'm in shock at Jane's death. Um, wow. WOW. I kinda want to go back and pick the alone ending now.
"X will remember that" are sometimes red herrings, lulling you in a false sense of security that they'll live to bring up the subject again after remembering the choice you make, when suddenly the next scene they die.
I shouldn't have....
I shouldn't.....
JANNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I apologize for the massive amount of gifs, but I must express my thoughts. WHY, WHY, WHY did my curiosity get the better of me?
Because I wanted to know...
And now I do.
Damn he's pissed you weren't there for dad lol
i just seen kennys death scene. lol, i guess lori isnt the only one who can crash on a empty road during zombie apocalypse.

Wow. Jane looks awful. I already saw the three flashback options and the one with Kenny was "the best".
You would think that Jane would at least commit suicide by shooting herself as to not come back.

Two cheap endings for two GREAT characters. Now I'm afraid of the rest of the season 3.
