I looked into it. For the most part it's just people bitching about the fates of determinants like they always do. Throwing the same "choice… more doesn't matter," argument around, when the game itself holds to the series tradition of placing the journey over the outcome.

Seriously, though, I'm glad to hear that the complaints mainly stem from that. Hopefully I won't end up feeling like an idiot for being optimistic about the game.

I haven't played the game myself, but from what I've heard, Javier takes 95% of the screentime.
I believe Clementine plays a fairly prominent role, though. She's just more of a supporting character this time.
Honestly I doubt that since this is his story. I do have to say that, without having played ANF, I am partial to playing Javier and experiencing the Clem we moulded from his point of view.
Thread: At what time does the game release in the UK?
Hey guys,
So I am going to be buying the game and would like to know what time it releases.
I know there have been some bad impressions of the first two episodes but I normally have a different opinion to everyone else, for example:
I think the third episode of Season 2 is the best episode ever by far.
I like the second season better than the first (I did love Lee but the second one is still better).
I liked the first two episodes of Season 2 better than the last two.
In a general note, I hated civil war but loved batman vs superman and I liked Kick Ass 2 better than Kick ass 1. I also love Watch dogs better than gta or watch dogs 2.
So as you can see I usually like things that other people don't so I am hoping that will be the same for this game as I have been hyped for like years.
Guys I'm wondering... Do you need to pre-order it to be able to play it at midnight? Also, is there a way to only buy episodes 1 and 2 without having to pay for the whole season? I wanna buy the retail version when it comes out and I don't wanna pay full price beforehand. It doesn't comfort me that it comes with Season 2 and Michonne since I paid for those their full price back in the day as well.
Well it was Telltale's choice to make it his story though, it doesn't happen in a vacuum. They could, if they wanted, have designed it as a shared story, or one which others would take over.
I'm not sure we can say 'Clem's story reached it's true conclusion in season 2' when the endings all essentially ended on a cliffhanger
I get why he has that much screentime, because this season really isn't Clementine's story.
In my eyes, her story reached its true conclusion in Season 2.

Oh so its just THAT kind of talk.
Midnight for everyone regardless of timezone. Also the reason why so many people are already able to play it.
It's not butthurt talk.
Well this is just one guy/girl's opinion, just as in the case of those who hated it, you'll have to wait and judge for yourself.
When Sam wanted to find something with a sharp edge in "In Too Deep" she was hoping she would come across you.
Correct

Not entirely true. The scenes in question are pathetic, and it isn't because of "choices not mattering". Won't go further into it here, though.
I guess I'll be the judge of that after I finish playing tomorrow.
Link to the countdown?
You're absolutely right. I'll dive into that when I finish tomorrow.
Peaches and beans
My real name is Sam so for a second I was pretty alarmed lol
(?) A random stalker will remember that.
Eeeeeek. 95%?
Almost hoping Jav dies in episode 4 or something and we finish the story as Clem..
I can't link it, because it's on your PS4.
Just go to A New Frontier, and there should be a countdown under the application's icon.
The countdown is on your system if you preordered.

Lexi is the leader of Capricorn Farm.
Hopefully they don't find out that my real surname is Sam Iaskedtoleavewithmikeandarvo
My opinion is that Capricorn Farm turned out to be underwhelming.
Midnight if you're on console.
(?) Jane will remember that.
Couldn't pre-ordered it because I don't have enough money for the season pass.

Well, it's about 2 hours in CET.

North America
Yeah, if you play on a console, you should be able to buy the episodes individually once they release at midnight in your timezone.
[removed]
Kinda fantasised about Kenny and Jane becoming the apocalypse version of the Odd Couple while looking after AJ together ngl
Midnight on console. Tomorrow 6pm if you're on Steam.
Thank you! I play on PS4, but in the European store (for now) it only shows the pre-order for 29.99€, can't see episodes 1 and 2 individually.
I am on console. Do you mean midnight as in 3 hours or 27 hours?
Ugh, thanks for the reply, that's a disappointment though.
What console?
Presumably later if on the Telltale store, as recently their episodes have been releasing after the steam release (unlike the old days).
Might play it on ps4 instead, if I actually get it..
