That's my main issue right now. She's such a prominent character in the first two, and all of the endings left us with questions. To bring her back as a supporting character in someone else's story doesn't really sit well, I've got so much time invested in her that I'm just not going to care about someone they try to force me to like.
Well it was Telltale's choice to make it his story though, it doesn't happen in a vacuum. They could, if they wanted, have designed it as a … moreshared story, or one which others would take over.
I'm not sure we can say 'Clem's story reached it's true conclusion in season 2' when the endings all essentially ended on a cliffhanger

Given that Kenny or Jane are the only link (aside from AJ) to previous seasons, I completely understand that people don't want them to die in the first episode, which will probably happen.
Hoping not, no offence, as I think Kenny fans need reminding that people aren't permanently around in an apocalypse and to have a taste of o… morether's situation as they've lost all people they cared about :P Kenny was in twice as many episodes as any character other than clementine after all
So I downloaded the free trial as I can't actually buy the episode yet and it let me play the whole first episode. Am I supposed to be able to do that?
Damn there's alot of posts since last night lol. Just curious, for anyone who's played it how featured is Clem in the story? And how often do we get away from Javier to play as her?
Also remember that spoilers aren't everything. In Ancient Greek theatre, the audience knew the story before seeing it acted out - they took most pleasure not from twists and turns but from character development and beauty. Try to channel that, sounds weird I know :P

Lol how about ya'll wait till you can actually get your hands on the game yourselves and come up with your own opinion before being persuaded by a couple of the most pessimistic people on the forum who were already unenthusiastic about the game way before release.
Fucking hell I'm looking at the comments and I'm just shaking my head.
"Boycott Telltale!"
"Telltale should sell the IP to someone who will actually make a good game"

hey guys i was wondering is anyone having a problem with their saves cause i finished s1 and 2 on my xbox 1 and it cant find the save in s 3 yet its on the same xbox any ides
I dunno, the whole "you and the baby can come in, but not the grown man who could contribute much more" kinda left me the wrong way. The Jane and Clem with the baby alone isn't much better lol

Eh, I've gotta disagree with that.
I think that only two of them end on somewhat of a cliffhanger (Alone/Let family in), but I find even those to be pretty conclusive.
I have been having the same issue and I have contacted support by e-mail. I am asking permission to make a post in support if I get a helpful answer so I will try to keep everyone posted.

I'm kinda optimistic about S3 after seeing all of the negative threads asking for refunds and saying they have no faith in the writers and saying it's simply bad. I hope i'm not gonna regret the effort of getting this game only to be disappointed
Then watch a letsplay of it, that's fine if that's the case. But there's a difference between watching a letsplay to form your own opinion, and listening to someone saying "Lol fuck you Telltale you made ze bad game! I'm gonna tell everyone to boycott you now!" without proper explanation.

Because not everyone can afford to spend money on something they might not even like.

I think the only one which wasn't much of a cliffhanger is the ending where you go with Kenny, and that's only because it's so cheesy that it implies they live happily ever after.
In the wellington ending she is walking into a completely unknown community - who knows what lay behind those doors, and when you turn away the family it's implied they'll come back, perhaps with force.

It might be less major than you think?

I don't see the point in getting the gaming experience through watching someone else play the game and then talk about the specific problems in a game that you never played. You should be all like 'oh great, i've saved myself some money here, now I don't have to pay to play this garbage'

They won't show up until the game releases.
Once it does, you should be able to find them on the game's page, under 'Add-Ons'.
Good to hear. Thank you for the help!

Great for nutrition!

Any predictions about when the game will be launched on Google Play? I know it's gonna be tomorrow... But when?
I think I got spoiled some major stuff..... how do I keep this from ruining my experience?
You only get to play as Clem in flashbacks.
Clem has a lot of screen time, I'm a huge fan of her and wasn't disappointed.

Oh...Did you like it? pffft
This is less deterring lol. Thanks for the feedback.

Thing is, you know they're buying the next episode! XD

Now I lost my general reactions because people spoiled Season 3 being "disappointing"
Oh yeah I loved it. The length seemed decent to me and Javier's family quickly grew on me.
Did you think I wouldn't like it?

The Walking Dead fanbase in a nutshell today:
Then watch a letsplay of it, that's fine if that's the case. But there's a difference between watching a letsplay to form your own opinion, and listening to someone saying "Lol fuck you Telltale you made ze bad game! I'm gonna tell everyone to boycott you now!" without proper explanation.
In fairness a lot of the complainers seem to be people who have watched the let's play, they're making pretty specific complaints.
I think Clementine's fanbase is the one who should just back off.
Let me just fix that for you.
I left it ambiguous for a reason. Do you think I want these people coming after me? These forums are a dangerous place.
I think the only one which wasn't much of a cliffhanger is the ending where you go with Kenny, and that's only because it's so cheesy that it implies they live happily ever after.

Whether the episodes are dissapointing is subjective.
5 bucks ain't that much though
Nooooo not easy street!
Thanks you just saved the day
Depends on who you are, for my family things are pretty tight.
I managed to install the free trial and was wondering is will I need to install it after purchase?
Well considering how negative this whole forum suddenly became, I guess he wanted to hear some positivity.
