rip off

dear telltale

i think you are a rip off. you charge more for the postage of an item than you do for the item. why do you do this? i am trying to buy homestar runner figurines set 1 and your saying that the postage is £15.75 when the item is £14.95. this adds up to £30.70. i could buy ten of those if they were in England WHICH THEY ARE NOT!!! I used to like you, which i still do, but you seriously ticked me off with this.

Please try to find a solution to my problem.

What would you like for them to do? They have to send your item all the way from California to England. Give them a break, it's not easy to ship worldwide.

When I buy DVD's from England (I live in the USA), one of the places I buy them from is a company called Network.
The shipping rates are reasonable until the weight reaches 1 kilogram.
    Then, it jumps to £40!
International shipping is expensive and Telltale has said in numerous other threads that it is looking at other options (one such option might be to charge by weight up to one pound, instead of using the flat fee International Priority rate).
Also, once in a while, they offer free shipping (which is how I bought most of their games for my brother who lives in Belgium).
Telltale is one of the (THE?) most customer-friendly companies I've ever dealt with and I'm sure they are doing what they can but if you check the US Postal Service website (at USPS.com), you will notice that what Telltale charges is not so much, considering there is also the additional cost of packing the item.
Finally, I'm pretty sure the prices you mention are in $ and not in £, making the shipping costs about £10.38 at today's exchange rate.

    Move to the USA.

Seriously, Telltale do not control international shipping prices, there's not a lot they can do. I live in the UK as well, and I've had to shell out upwards of £30 for international shipping, as already mentioned once things reach a certain weight it's going to be pricey, there's no way to avoid it.

Telltale are going to buy W&G156 a rowing boat, so that he can personally escort all our DVD purchases across the Atlantic. Much cheaper than the Post Office.

So, the row boat has been delayed a tad. So you can stop pressing F5 for that surprise. ;)

Be sure to check back late next week around Wednesday or Thursday and order up then.

    Have a fabulous weekend!
