Two protagonists or only Javier?
All the sources I look at seem to be conflicting on whether Javier and Clementime are the playable protagonists or just Javier? Can anyone who has already played both episodes confirm?

You play as javier 98% of the time and play clementine only in flashbacks so far. Telltale screwed us again.
well its possible that in episode 3 or later episodes we will play as her in present time.
im not counting on it.
are you still going to finish the season im still contemplating on whether to play it or not?
I already bought the season pass bc I wanted the second season for my ps4 that came with it, but if I was buying it by episode I'd wait to hear how it goes before buying.
I guess my only problem was that everything I read said two protagonists, I wouldnt be bothered if Id always thought it was just Javier.
You play as Javier pretty much the entire time, Clem only has a couple flashback scenes. It's perfectly fine with me because I didn't like playing as Clem during season 2 and I think she works better as a supporting character
this guy gets it.
I am actually glad we only play as Javier, and just 5 minutes of Clementine.
We all would have ruined the beautiful character she is now if we got to play as her.
I'm the opposite, I want to play as Clementine more than we currently have. Many of her choices do not sit right with my previous ones so I'd rather make the decisions myself
You managed to play her alright in season 2 without making her look like an hypocrite? wow.
I had no problem with her in S2, but I also have no problem placing her before Javiers wellbeing and that of his family. Javis a complex, if not stereotypical, man.
Well since Javier is the main character he will be the primary playable character with clementine 2-3 mins out of an episode. Honestly I would have preferred a Tales from the borderland set-up. That way old players can still have clementine and warm up to Javier while new players can get used to both of them
