Hate to bring this up, but ***** could still be alive!?

Okay before I start this let me just say, I know that Kenny's charecter is finished now, he's never coming back because he's dead. This isn't a theory about him somehow surviving being stabbed/shot or being paralysed and then subsequently mauled.

So Kenny is dead now. But what about when we left him to go to Wellington? We don't know if he's alive or not, he could be chillin' on his own growing a longer beard. Technically he is STILL DETERMINATE! We'll just never know what's happened to him, just like Lily in Season 1 (she's not determinate we just don't know what's happened to her).

What do you guys think? Would you rather have his fate from this ending cleared up in another flashback or just leave it how it is, technically forever being a determinate charecter?

I think I would personally like it to be left how it is. I'd like to think he's still out there in my game, even though it's improbable. :)

  • He's dead. Period.

  • I agree, he's dead no matter what essentially. It's just the point of this thread was to point out that he might not be by a technicality in some players games.

It's pretty interesting as it might be something that Telltale just forgot about! Wouldn't be suprised really

No, he's determinant. If Clem abandoned Kenny or stayed at Wellington, it simply means his status is permanently locked as "unknown." There's no debating he's gone from the series for good, though.

  • I think he killed himself in the Wellington ending and Clem alone ending.

Like...saritas dead, clems gone, a.j's gone, he's alone...in the cold...like no, I think he killed himself.
I would at that point smh.

  • That's probably realistic. (I love your username btw and Merry Christmas!)

  • I do agree with you, but then i remember what he said to Lee in the first game.
Do you remember when they were in Savannah and they saw the dead couple in their bed? He told Lee his thoughts about when Katjaa killed herself. He said that he forgives her, but she shouldn't have taken the easy way out. He said that no matter how hard he got, that he would keep going.
That's not to say that he wasn't broken and would have gone back on his word. But I don't think it's in his character to do that

  • I hope they clear it up, but given the past two episodes I think it's unlikely.

He does. What about you, Wolfie? Will you come back?

Of course he is alive, he comes back every season!

  • When he leaves Wellington or is left by Clementine at the rest stop there is nothing to tell us he's dead. We'll probably never see him again but he wasn't the type of person to off himself, he'll probably find another group or end up dying.

  • We won't see him again, that's for sure. But if you did decide to stay in Wellington he could still be alive, but we won't ever know for certain. Either way, Kenny is done

  • I know we won't see him again, but I changed my ending from staying with Kenny to the Wellington ending because Kenny was willing to leave Clem and AJ to ensure their safety, therefore I was willing to leave him to ensure he didn't get paralyzed and eaten, despite how much I hated leaving Kenny. It's like 99.9% confirmed we won't see him again, but I can at least think that he's still kicking it out there, at peace knowing Clem and AJ are safe.

  • I'm really curious as to why so many people are always wanting Kenneth to be alive after all of the things he's done.......

I get it, he's one of the original characters and we know him personally and know he suffered loss, but he ain't exactly a saint.

  • EVERY character has been through hell - Clementine had the worst of it.

And think of it this way; Lilly had a severe loss at the hands of Kenny. Kenny wanted Ben dead or murdered just because of his dealing with the bandits and the raid that happened afterwards (And also if it wasn't for Lee taking the bag the raid wouldn't have happened. Or Lilly taking the shot). He also abused the hell outta Arvo and blamed Clementine for Sarita's death. He basically attacked anyone who he thought could be blameworthy or at fault.

Okay, mitigating circumstances: he lost his wife and child all in the same day. Duck due to a walker bite and Katjaa due to suicide.

Yeah, because Larry had a heart attack, and Kenny was afraid he was gonna come back and kill everyone. Anyone else would have done the same thing.

    This I agree with.

  • Kenneth had no right, regardless, to murder Larry.

And Ben didn't know the consequences.

And Lee had taken the package and the bandits didn't get their package, thus, they attacked. Depending on how you handle the situation, you may have calmed down the bandits enough to make another deal but Lilly then took the shot and startled the rest of the bandits.

Oh, so you're saying you would have preferred if everyone in the locker was killed by Larry?

Ohhh, you mean the bag of medicine that was in the grate outside of the motor inn in episode 3. I see now.

  • 1) If you were fast enough you would've seen Larry's mouth actually moving and his eyes opening; he was about to make it before Kenneth smashed his brain with the salt lick.

    2) There ya go ^_^

    1. How do you know that wasn't him reanimating?

  • Heart attacks do NOT mean INSTANT DEATH. Dude, in real life, some people are wide awake when having a heart attack (and I know this thanks to a health class). And if he was reanimating, his skin would've been a deathly pale, nearly purple or grey. His teeth would've been slightly decayed and he would've been at least snarling or moaning or gasping. Listen closely to each reanimation in the game and you'll know WTF I'm talking about.

    * How do you know that wasn't him reanimating? *

  • Mr.Parker/Travis, Sarita, and Natasha are good examples of that.

  • I swear I heard a voice clip of him telling off someone for trying to kill him once but I haven't been able to find it again.

  • Staying at Wellington was such a good way to send off that character, Telltale should let the poor guy rest.

  • I hate how he died, but at least I don't have to deal with this new look they gave him. He looked like stoned homeless pirate.

  • No he was specifically against suicide like Jane lol if that were the case his character would be drastically altered and I would have thought he would have killed him self at the end of season 1.

That's probably realistic. (I love your username btw and Merry Christmas!)
