Saddest Scene of S3 So Far?

Comments

  • I don't think there is any real sad scene because this game doesn't develop its characters enough like Season 1 (and the Episodes are short).

The closest is probably Mariana's death for this season.
Kenny's death comes close as well - but I wasn't happy with his death.

  • As much as I like Kenny and always was by his side. I just couldn't be sad with his death scene.
It was too quick for me to understand and get emotinally sad. I was more of frustrated and mad than sad.
So I guess Mariana is the saddest part so far..

    • You don't know that the kids know about it
    • It seems like they're just trying to show that she is a douche, what better way to do it than to make her eat an apple
    • I don't know what youre trying to say by "Clem my captor is my friend! Don't hurt her." but I think youre trying to say that Javi protects Clem at some point ? If that's the case it's because it's clear that they trust each other after Prescott and Javi protects her for helping him out.
    • Every dialogue ever is now cliche because we heard it before somewhere
    • "Same thing that happens for everyone" is from Season 2, not cliche
    • "I couldn't save them..." - I'm assuming this is about Mariana, of course he couldn't save her, what was he supposed to do when Badger blew her head, how is this cliche ?

First 20 minutes of the game; My familia, smokin' some weed don't worry kids already know about it, quickie time, Clementine threatening you

  • Mari... It will hold me for quite a while that one...

  • It's reversed. Clementine digs a grave for her if you stay and fight.

Yeah, I think if you stay and fight with Clem at the end of ep 1, there's no funeral. But if you stay with your family, there is.

  • Seeing clementine branded with the new frontier mark, wondering about the stuff she did.

  • SAVAGE

The entire game is just a sad scene.

  • Clementine getting her fingered fucked up got me, I didn't give a shit about Mariana though.

  • When Javi was burying Mari, he said "I'm sorry I didn't find you a candy bar" with a crying voice, Jeff Schine did a really good job imo. :'(

  • For the first time being a voice actor, we need to see him more often in video games.

Yes I do, Kate says to Javier that the kids already know via terrible choices...

No... I'm saying that there's a dialogue option to say that once she sets you free... it's cringy as hell.

If someone dies, writers should be able to deliver to the viewer through different lines not the ones we already heard (I don't care if this happens IRL this if fiction), the lines that I quoted are the same ones through out S2 and S3... twice, they are copy/paste-ing it...

  • Jane's death scene. I've got goosebumps in that scene. It was so dark and sad. We knew baby was Jane's big fear. And her worst fear came true. I felt so sorry for her.

  • Kenny's death scene especially when you, (Clem), won't give up. He'll push you and gets "angry".

When the credits roll, and you realize you've been gypped

"What do you mean episodes 1 and 2 combined were both shorter than episode 1 of season 1?"

  • If you talk to Clem during the gameplay section where the cars are stuck because there is a car in the tunnel, she will say something like "Dont get me wrong, having other people is nice but"... and then her voice cracks completely, and she whimpers "But it always ends up hurting in the end"

  • Seeing such a nice moment between Clem and Kenny turn so tragic so quick.

    Realizing how quick.

Clems line at the tow truck part.

Seeing her NF brand, and thinking about how desperate she must have been to go through something so painful.

Seeing my total time played after finishing both episodes.

  • Kenny's death

Even if it was a shitty sendoff for an awesome character, it still hit me pretty hard.

  • I'm not sure, but the sound of my hopes and expectations crashing like a shred of glass in my chest was a pretty harrowing sound.

  • I would say the scene where Javier is burying Mariana. Mariana's death didn't really get me that choked up, but Javier's reaction to it did. It was a good scene. I legitimately felt sorry for him.

  • When Clementine admitted that she does not trust groups any more.

I reckon Jane's death would've scared Clem for life, like compared to Kenny's death and being alone, that's pretty messed up that she had to see someone suicide :(

    jane's death ;-;

  • Good ol' Clemmy :)

It's reversed. Clementine digs a grave for her if you stay and fight.

  • One line in this season makes me cry : you should be the one who bury me some day far away
    :(

  • The saddest part is when I finished episode 2 and realized, that's it?

  • Kate not dying. That was the saddest. She should be D.E.A.D.

  • Mariana's death

  • Nothing was sad. The only sad thing was I felt no sympathy for Kenny's death at all....

  • Going to have to go with Jane's suicide. For Clementines sake, and the upset in her voice and face just made me so upset for her...One final kick in the face from Jane.

I stuck with my season 2 ending, even though I always felt bad about it. I killed Kenny because I thought it was wrong for him to kill Jane in cold blood, and his behavior prior was really starting to get crazy, I just felt like he'd cracked....When the reveal about the AJ in the car happened, I was so shocked and upset and disgusted with Jane, and I did yell at her. I guess when it came to the decision to ditch her or not, at the time I was like...Clementine alone raising AJ? Jane is insane, but at least Clem won't be all by herself trying to raise him. Boy did that decision bite me in the ass...

Honestly I was so horrified and upset seeing Jane hanging there. I felt so guilty and it just broke my heart that even though I always tried to do what was best for Clementine, I still failed in the end. So far with Javi I've sided with Clem and always tried to help her (except I went back with wounded Kate instead of staying back after she was shot), so maybe I can make it up and help her so she can believe in people again.

  • Mariana's death. It broke me because we were about to leave the junkyard and get to Prescott without any problem. I'll kill Badger if I have the chance.

Nothing. It's near impossible for me to invest or care for any of the characters, so when one does actually tip the bucket, I'd be lying if I said I gave a shit. How can I be saddened by Marianna's death when I never even had a chance to actually know her, outside of her weird obsession with candy bars? The writings just not there for any emotional attachment to be had. And in actual fact, thinking about it, that's the saddest aspect of this season so far- the lack of any real care that can be expressed playing through it.

Yeah, admittedly I was more affected by Javier and Kate's reactions than I ever would've been at Marianna getting shot(thanks, Meme thread!).

  • When Clementine tried to cover up shooting Eli

  • When Clementine gets sad, I get sad.

  • A lot of the times I would be upset due to frustration, nothing really made me sad because it was a sad scene or something like that. Since I never really got a chance to connect with any of the characters and empathize with them when horrible crap happens. The closest would be when Clementine jammed her finger in the alone flashback.

  • Every flash back for clem because they were only 3 min long...so sad :(

  • I'm surprised by the responses, but for me I'd gotta stick with the obvious which is Mari's death. I mean Kenny's death in the flashback was so abrupt and forced that I didn't have time to really sink into the moment. I was more shocked than anything else then mad afterward. Anyway, Mari's death was so uncalled for and shocking. What's worse is that although she was caught completely by surprised, she felt a moment of pain by the very last split-section expression she had on her face.

  • The flashback scenes, it was so badly written that it made me bawl.

  • Jana is a bith! he fuck with Luke and when luke s baby coming she hang her self -_-
