Release Date: Beginning of February in Between: 1 - 14.
I still prefer Season 1 over Season 2 and over Season 3.
This angle they are taking is different from before, on season 1 they are heavily focused on food/water and meds, have fights over it, for some reason people are interested into that, then later on they see that a character is liked the most then they are going to build around that. Season 1 ends and Season 2 starts with the liked character as main protagonist, again she is trying to survive find new people that are acually trying to get food/water and meds as well, they find out that another group is hunting on them because they had left. Something happends with the group in the end and she has another history written, now again they are focusing on settlements and there fights, but the survival of food/water and meds seem to be gone. Which is a downside, since it's hard to make content without this part of survival.
I mean the TV series are only showing character prospective, they don't talk about actual survival, in the game series the little things mattered in season 1 and 2 and that's why people loved it! I just hope they will be able to fill in more content when they enter a new zone or just when traveling around and have content inside those moments. Only then you build up a better relationship with your characters and give you more feels, I hope they won't go to the TV series but stay with there own plan they had from the beginning.
The Season 3 Angle is not my thing, Telltale...
The Trailer was showing so much... The brand on Javi's Neck... Which can or can not happen. (Because of what happened with clementine as well)
Clementine lost a finger in the trailer, but that only occurs when she goes alone, and there you could choose to go without kenny or go without jane.
I wonder if they will comeback on those scenes.
Those flashbacks give a cheap feeling towards the series, and I would actually prefer more linair storyline then what you guys have TRIED Either spent more time on it and make it feel solid, or don't add it at all. It's showing when you replay the game, even though 4 scenes are different still doesn't give much feeling towards it.
Give me the trigger feeling: (Season 1 - 2)
Hi! My favorite character is alone or group and you play with them from a time, then you stumble upon things and then give a shock towards them.
Instead of: (Season 3)
Hi! My Favorite Character is in this scene, 5 minutes later... What he is dead...?
Their probably setting it up to choose between Tripp and Eleanor. Two seemingly good characters is going to make the choice a lot harder. It's really reminding me of Doug and Carley since you have the male and female counterpart.
I don't fully trust her but I chose to go with her in my first playthrough because she's a doctor which could be helpful if a member of his family was hurt. Still doesn't explain her suspicious disappearance at the end of episode 2.
I trusted her all the way up to her disappearance and I went with her to the junkyard too. Figured Javier would want to get back there as soon as possible and as a player i thought it'd be cooler to ride on some horses then riding in Tripp's car. I don't see this decision making that big of a difference later in the game unless she really is a member of The New Frontier and she rats Javier out to David that Javier and Kate were kissing. (If you chose to) At first i started to think that she might just be a member, but what if David is a red herring? What if it's Eleanor who's really in charge and David's just a second in command or something?

I really hate it when people are called whiners because they have legitimate negative criticism that is just dismissed by fanboys as "whinin… moreg". There is a lot wrong with ANF so far, even if it wasn't nearly as bad as my first impression made me fear (first thing I saw were the flashbacks). Short episodes - the premiere being too long for one Episode was a downright lie and we all know it, including Telltale ("Error - This isn't really an Episode" 'nuff said) - , illogical character relationships (Javier calling Clem a friend makes no sense at all), bland new characters and a seemingly easy-to-predict storyline are not exactly minor nitpicks. The game is also way too pro-Clementine for my taste, but that might still change. I'm reserving judgement for later, but so far the game is, even if not bad, very underwhelming.

Clem should come back very early in the next episode, telltale i get it, clems not playable, no problem. but u should atleast keep her around and give us more conversations with her....and build some connection with javier.....dont just stop here...plan to make more seasons, make more money, walking dead is ur ACE ....altho i just loved the ending of the first season but sometimes i think u should've kept lee alive until couple more seasons atleast....i know maybe that could have ruined season 1 a little bit...but just imagine how more painful it would have been if lee was alive and we see him die in this season for clem....on the other hand that might have effected clem's character...her character would've been less developed...but shes still 13 they could've made her little badass after season 3 the same way they did after season 1.... and imagine if they kept lee alive, and developed his character even more...and produced lets just say "decent" season 2 and 3 with lee being the playable character, and dying the same way u know for clementine at the end, that death would have been way more worse to handle, atleast for me...we would've been way more connected to lee coz of more time with him....that way we could've had kinda 5 years with him rather than 1...no shit the death would've had a bigger impact on us....lets just forget that and hope for longer and great episodes now...LOL i said earlier that time doesnt matter but i meant 5 mins here and there wont matter that much...but ofc if u drop from 2 hours to 1 hour surely u r gonna miss something big and thats character development (the most important thing of TWD and the best thing about TWD)...
I still think it'll come out late march or during the summer. I don't think Telltale will be releasing these episodes relatively quick by an… morey means and the previous seasons did take awhile to be released. And seeing how Telltale is working on several projects that always makes them lag behind with releasing games
I hope it comes out by mid January. I am so excited to play more of this season. It is the most fun I have had with Walking dead since season 1. Javier is an awesome protagonist.
Oh buddy, you should have seen the waiting threads when season 2 was coming out and when you had to wait 2+ months for an episode. This is heaven compared to then.

In the beginning scene of episode 2 when you get the choice to tell David off I was not expecting Javier to say that Kate wanted to leave hi… morem I just thought he would stand up for himself that definitely won't help me in episode 3 but like I said before I wonder how David will react knowing his people killed his daughter.
No worries, its determinate if she is with you at the end. So we can be fairly confident that TTG will take the easy path and the NF will capture her in the first 10 mintues of episode 3.

You guys are freaking me out with this mid-February/March stuff. They said monthly releases, right? I expect January as the episode is probably mostly finished.

I am honestly really excited for the next episode. I am really looking forward to see how that reunion with David is going to be played out.
I keep imagining that David became more ruthless and pragmatic as he believes that he will never see his family again and that they are probably dead. How he survived by being a ruthless leader who built a new community. Then suddenly one day, his family appears right outside the gate. His brother Javier, his wife Kate, his son, Gabriel. Everyone appears alive right in front of his eyes. I wonder if such an event will restore his lost humanity and how he will react that the group he created is responsible for his daughter's death.

It is legitimate and negative. Not sure what else you'd call it.
How would she be a member if she;s been with Tripp and Prescott this whole time?
She could be a mole.
We reached 13 and still no news we got.

They're back with monthly releases. Batman was being released monthy in case you needed proof.
And Telltale has several teams working on each game so I doubt they're lagging behind.
Only about two are legitimate, the rest are subjective
Great episodes so far, but they could have made them longer... still great nonetheless!
I hope it comes out by mid January. I am so excited to play more of this season. It is the most fun I have had with Walking dead since season 1. Javier is an awesome protagonist.
Thread: When does season 3 episode 3 come out?
Anybody know? That is all.
No info given, probably not for at least a week, as Telltale may be on Christmas break
No news yet, but if I had to guess i'd say late January or early February
can not wait to kill badger
Me too. Fuck that guy
Oh buddy, you should have seen the waiting threads when season 2 was coming out and when you had to wait 2+ months for an episode. This is heaven compared to then.
So we should expect it in a month then? I have a hard time actually believing that since im so used to longer waits.
Yeah it's the new [GLASS HIM]
No worries, its determinate if she is with you at the end. So we can be fairly confident that TTG will take the easy path and the NF will capture her in the first 10 mintues of episode 3.
Is it just me or is the song that Clem hums to AJ Alive Inside
Batman was released monthly so no reason to worry :P
episode 3 should be out the of January, as the period of waiting for each episode a month. came here in December two episodes. the third is bound to come out in January.
It's apparently lees death song so whatever that's called
Doubtful with the holiday break.
Batman, Michonne, and Minecraft were all released on a monthly schedule, I don't see why TWD would be any different.
I hate it when people who can't handle criticism call people who criticize/call out something they love for making a big mistake 'whiners' for making a factual point about a thing
(i can play this game too)
Yep, she was humming Alive Inside. Lovely little Easter egg!
You guys are freaking me out with this mid-February/March stuff. They said monthly releases, right? I expect January as the episode is probably mostly finished.
Yeah but we already got the episode 2
February 14th... that's my call.
Except episode 2 wasn't really the second episode, it was the second part of episode 1.
I am honestly really excited for the next episode. I am really looking forward to see how that reunion with David is going to be played out.

Your right. When she goes off in the other direction, dollar to a doughnut that Badger catches her. We don't see him in that final scene.
It'll be awhile considering we just got the first two episodes which may or may not factor into the next release date.
