I'm just saying, we're going into episode 3, and because of the shortness of the first two episodes, I feel nowhere NEAR as connected to any… more of the new characters as I did Season 1. We're almost halfway through the season and I really don't give a damn about anyone except Clem.

Thinking back, Chuck, Christa, Omid and Molly, they also got about an hour or so, and I still cared about them. Mike was introduced in Episode 3 back on Season 2 and I still cared enough to worry about his fate after getting to know him better in Episode 4. Just saying that we still got three episodes left and there are still plenty of chances and moments for us to grow to care about the new characters and upcoming characters.
Omid and Christa were regulars on 103-201, they got a lot more than just an hour haha. Chuck was a sweet old man, and Molly...I blame Erin Yvette for liking her haha.

I have a feeling the other episodes will keep the same length as the first ones. If you play them on steam you'll notice that the other ttg have about 7-8 achievements (around 2 hours gameplay per episode) while new frontier only have 6 achievements per episode.
I might be wrong here since nothing is stated yet, just a gut feeling...
Nah Batman only had 6 and I'm pretty sure you got the 6th and 7th achievements at the same time in previous TTG (one for completing the chapter and one for beating the episode itself).

The game who had majority of the episodes in 2h length had more achievements than six (which is where my assuming comes from). Batman's episode was pretty short too?

But aight bro, I hope I'm wrong
If the rest of the season is as short as episode 1 and 2, 1-1.5 hours, then we are really looking at a 5 and a half to a 7 hour campaign?!
Seriously?
Season 1 was around 13 hours for its campaign, while season 2 was close to 11 hours. If ANF is around 6-7 hours.... for a $24.99 TTG? I'm seriously gonna be pissed, and probably talk to Steam support about a refund. I'll go ahead and say this right now: it would be so cheap, sleazy, and unacceptable to be goaded into a 25 dollar episodic game that has historically surpassed well over 10 hours of gameplay, only to find it barely passing 7...
Can TTG make a statement and address this concern, please?

I've got this feeling inside my bones that it will not live up to the expectations like S1 and S2 did. I wanna interact more with the charachers, more stuff to do, I dunno, something stuff. If not so, refund is knocking at the door.
Nothing of great interest

Telltale always use code names for their game branches, A New Frontier just happens to use "alexandria" https://steamdb.info/app/536220/depots/?branch=alexandria
I still think it's funny people use the word "campaign" meaning story mode. Call of Duty has sure made its mark.
I've got it. Call of Duty: A Telltale Series

Not really, "single player story campaign" "single player campaign" "story mode" it's all the same to me. Call of Duty doesn't own that, that's been a thing for many a game now, even before the latest "Call of Booty: Faggots in Space."

That awkward moment when Melissa sounds like us...On a lighter note, I love Melissa. And Melissa thinks that episode 3 won't be out until March or April. Yikes...That's a pretty long while.

In case ya'll don't want to listen to the 1 hour and 20 min, I typed it all up.
Speaker: "There's not enough Clementine"
Meli: "I agree"
Meli: (Talking about the alone flashbacks/finger.) "We only saw it get crushed we didn't see it come off....we haven't gotten to that part ye---" Then she gets cut off by the speaker. Another flashback awaiting?
Meli: (Talking about episode length) " I was sad when the first episode ended I was like what the fuck? Really? That was so short! I liked the pace I thought it was a really good pace but I was like... oh. It only took like an hour to play through the first episode. Considering each episode of S2 was about an hour and a half to two hours. So I have to admit I was a little..---
Speaker: "--that's why they released e1 and 2?"
Meli: "*....yeaaahh... they did that, uh, well there was so much rewriting these episodes, where, I didn't know what was going to be left in them and what wasn't. They were going in a totally different direction with episode---"
Speaker: "--What was it?" (the direction)
Meli: "--there was a kind of carver-esk character. And it's kind of a bummer because there were some really awesome recordings of that. Kind of the backstory of me and AJ getting separated, and there was some legitimate, like, awesome emotional scenes which I'm sure got cut." Dammit telltale why do you get rid of the good shit. Also, is this character Ava?
Meli: (About episode 2) "This is not to be all about me, but I'm just... for how much dialogue I recorded I was like, oh... clem in the second episode had some great scenes but she kind of seemed to go... just... it was kind of fast."
Meli: (How you feel about not being the playable character) "well... they didn't tell me I wasn't a playable character because technically I still am a playable character, but a first I was like 'oh okay, this 'javy guy' they better write his story really well or else they're going to piss off - which they still have - they're going to piss off a bunch of people with Clem not being the main focus. But once I got into the recordings and the story developed I thought it was actually.... I think it works out." Funny, when she said that last sentence she sounded really unenthusiastic and unsure.
Meli: (About E3) "I don't know what's gonna happen in the next episode we barely started recording it"
Meli: (About when Clem left TNF) "She (clem) gets to a point were shes like 'this is fucked, I'm out' so she leaves them. So hopefully she hasn't done too much bad with The New Frontier."
Meli: (Talking about recording clementines voice/attitude) "At first it was really dark. Every other word was like 'WELL FUCK YOU' you know. And then the writers were like 'Eh, we need to reel that in a little bit.' But she still cusses which is great." "We went back into the studio to bring back more of the S2 Clem, but then it was too nice. So then we went back in to try AGAIN and it was that definitely low... like, clementines never been overly emotional with her speech unless there is something overly dramatic happening. Ever since Lee/S2 she's been a soft spoken person."
Speaker: So you're saying you just started Episode 3?
Meli: "Yeah I have recorded one scene thus far but we went into the studio and they said "this will probably get totally rewritten, but were gonna go ahead and record this anyways. I wish I could tell you what its about.... (the scene)."
Meli: (about the E3 release date) "*I know with all these big games a deadlines I really don't want that to effect this game. I know there are amazingly talented people writing this game so I'm not afraid. I just don 't want them to, you know, say 'we need to get this episode out!' " She's saying she hopes they don't rush the episodes and that she's okay with long waits in between episodes.
Meli: (They're talking about the weed scene and how Clem would sound had she smoked) "Gabe, man, chill out, try this. Smoke some weed bro." I laughed.
Meli: (About Clem's ethnicity) "She's black and asian. Blasian."
Meli: (Talking about E3 release date) "My guess is it will release in March, at the earliest. Maybe April." Holy shit, I hope so. That way they can fix it.

I am excited for this. I just feel a lil sad cause the hype was on point like it was in the past two seasons
*Wasn't
What about Tripp?
I only care about Javi and Clem (mainly Clem though).
He's only been in the game like an hour play time. Not enough for me to exactly care dearly about.
if the third episode isn't 2 hours or longer, imma sell my Steam account!

Want to do it now? Because I can tell you with almost absolute certainty that the episode won't be that long.

I would say maybe half way but I think finished is reaching far.
Tales had 6 I believe. That has 2 hour long episodes.
So uh... what games you got on there?

Some activity on Steam, ANF's codename is "alexandria"
details plz
Alexandria, huh? Any idea if it means something?

Who cares! Alexndria must fall in a few hours (according to last comic issue).
Hope Clem not go there.
ANF is before the whisperer war so Clem could stay there for a bit. As for Alexandria, it is going down unfortunately. Bloody Negan.
CLEMENTINE TO EGYPT CONFIRMED!
Made my day. How about a meme?
Nothin?
Why not update the thread? 'activity on steam db'?
Because it's unrelated to episode 3.
