I am with you @Dont_Look_Back I can wait for them to do a proper job of it...waiting always sucks...but hey I can always write another thread about Season prices lol...my but is still hurting from the kicking ;P

they did that, uh, well there was so much rewriting these episodes, where, I didn't know what was going to be left in them and what wasn't. They were going in a totally different direction with episode-- --there was a kind of carver-esk character. And it's kind of a bummer because there were some really awesome recordings of that. Kind of the backstory of me and AJ getting separated, and there was some legitimate, like, awesome emotional scenes which I'm sure got cut.
Yeah I have recorded one scene thus far but we went into the studio and they said "this will probably get totally rewritten, but were gonna go ahead and record this anyways. I wish I could tell you what its about....

I can't believe they took this out. It would have been amazing. All cause of the dumb "90 minute" rule which is turning into the "50 minute rule." I'm also sure she was about to talk about the removed Clem flashback that shows Sandra getting bit but she got interrupted before she could speak. They're Greg Miller 2.0, really.
And no problem, I usually type these things up for the community.

Damn. Sucks that they really seemed to have cut out a lot, especially considering how short the episodes are and how much more we could have gone into what's happened. Thanks for writing that out though, I'm on my phone right now and it wasn't letting me play it back.

Yeah I totally agree. This is the first time that I've had to wait for new episodes, since I just finished the other two seasons last week. I had no idea how good these games would be!!!
Much appreciated, the link wasn't playing for me on my computer. I really hope some of that cut stuff eventually finds its way into the future episodes, but I just don't understand why some of this was cut other than to shorten the episode, which in itself wasn't really a good idea to begin with.

When not even Melissa is sure about where Season 3 is going
I felt like it was a little obvious a lot of rewrites were happening, but I really did not think that even now in episode 3 they would be rewriting...rewriting so much that they just have the actors do the lines because they appear to just constantly rewrite and don't know if they will end up going with that anyway...wow.

I want the longest wait possible, I want them to spend time and effort making it the best they can, and I genuinely, seriously hope they see how strong the criticism of the episodes has been.
At this point, I would be happy if they wrote off the Jane and Kenny scenes as nightmares, their faces are already melting, so it should be easy to make make an excuse for it :P. Like I said, my brain is not even receptive to the concept of them being dead in such a way. It just acknowledges Season 2 as the incredibly flawed ending.
I also want technical and gameplay innovation and an actual challenge and depth, but screw me amiright?
Oh, and also maybe a unique and interesting soundtrack that isn't reused from years ago?
I felt like it was a little obvious a lot of rewrites were happening, but I really did not think that even now in episode 3 they would be rewriting...rewriting so much that they just have the actors do the lines because they appear to just constantly rewrite and don't know if they will end up going with that anyway...wow.
I kind of suspected that there were a ton of rewrites that happened/were happening when I found out that Ties That Bind part 1 had seven writers and part 2 had EIGHT writers.
How the hell is anyone able to give any creative input across an hour long episode? How do all of these different writers' ideas and thoughts on the direction of the series manage to form a coherent plot?

Yea, her reactions to the episodes and what was included shocked me. The writers seem all over the place with no idea what they want to do, which is not something that makes me feel good after a 2 year wait lol. On the bright side, at least with them not exactly being set on the direction it gives some hope they'll be listening to fan feedback in future episodes. I still can't believe how much of Clems story was cut, though. Some of the details just make it seem like it would have been such a more satisfying start coming from season 2.

I'm actually not too disappointed in the long wait for episode 3. This gives them lots of time to make the episode amazing. If it was a month wait I feel it could be rushed.

Oh what a fun DAY....I find out that we will be waiting for awhile for a new ep...but I can wait....but a little over an hour ago I am writing a report at the front desk at the ER when this couple brings their son...they are talking to the duty nurse when the kid projectile vomits all over the duty nurse and I soaking me pretty much to the bone. I love being a nurse .
I'm not happy about it, but I'm very happy about. Don't get me wrong, I love the season so far, but it can be better. Much better. TT will hopefully get their shit together and actually look at constructive criticisms from the fans, and then apply those valid complaints about the game to better the season.

Jesus christ telltale how fucking backwards can you fucking be to get rid of all this (what seems to be) really cool shit. Like I don't understand what goes on over there for them to think that its not worth putting emotional scenes or more backstory for clem in a WALKING DEAD GAME

I swear telltale are getting full of themselves. Like they are trying WAY TO FUCKING HARD on appealing to new players and it's not even this game. They keep pulling out these new titles to appeal to new players instead of giving fans new seasons to games that people ACTUALLY want and now they're trying to make TWD one of those new titles and it sounds like they fucked up big time. I've been a huge fan of telltale for a while but something is definitely changing when it comes down to their games and the way they do things at the company. It's pretty worry some

Melissa Hutchison; she said March at the earliest but probably April. Apparently, they have barely even recorded anything for episode 3.
You can edit comments, by the way. Go to the top-right corner of your comment, and you can edit it.

Now thats classic ttg
Maybe they are working on gotg for now...
Hopefully the long wait means that they scrapped their old plans and are starting to listen to their fans.
You know it's bad when all you can think is "thank god" to an extended wait time. And I actually liked the premiere.
I second that. I remember during S2 everyone was outraged that the waits were 2 months. Now I'm hoping for 4 months.

You know...Melissa Hutchison is a huge Weird AL fan..would be hilarious to hear her rendition in Clementine's voice of Amish Paradise.
I wouldn't call what they're getting constructive criticism. Any actual criticism just comes across as ranting to me.
