Nice thread explanation. I'm going to assume you meant "what is the dumbest character death in the walking dead game" and my answer would be Omid. He was killed for nothing more than shock factor. Which was a complete waste of a great character.
Disagree. His death wasn't dumb. It was great start.
Beginning of the game, Clem is safe - yay, she has Omid and Christa - yay, they'll have a baby - yay.. Enough! It's The Walking Dead, not "happy hour". Good people are dying, times are hard, wake up player.
Luke died stupid way. Survived the Russians and drowned. Rebecca died so fast no one noticed. Why? Stupid. And Sarah. Decide about her but she dies 20 minutes later.

I'd say Sarah's death at the Observation Deck, merely for the fact that she somehow got stuck under a pile of wood planks when they fell after she did... like, really? And in the same Episode she just became determinant in as well?
Troy. What are you doing dude? Defend home base, the cabin group are a lost cause and you hated them anyway. Well maybe that girl covered in blood inching towards you with a crazed look on her face will be freindly.
I'm surprised nobody here has mentioned Brie's death (not really), which was there for pure shock value. I mean, how did that Walker even think of breaking the glass window in the first place? And everyone else on the group forgot about her in a matter of… seconds, really.
To be fair, that was kind of the whole point of her death. She was part of an old promo sweepstakes; the winner got to be a character in the game, die brutally, then get killed again as a zombie.

I don't disagree with what you said. You are spot on. Lukes death was like wtf and Bonnie's dumbass pretty much caused it. I've just always liked Omid because he was funny and tried to keep everyone's spirits up. I don't mind that they killed him and how they killed him it was just the timing. Nothing was explained like where they were how long Clem was with them. She was with Christa and Omid for a total of like 10 minutes. I know technically it was like a year and a half at least because of the time skip but we only saw them for a very short time. I wanted a little more dialogue with the both of them. It was like hey look it's Omid and Christa aaaaand they're gone.

I was gonna say her too. Whole group is just standing around bitching at freakin Ben, while this poor girl is holding a door handle in hopes to fend off the entire horde of zombies behind it lol. Desks and chairs right there people, time to barricade.

Charles/Chuck. His death was more disappointing to me than dumb. I like on screen deaths. Not off screen. It would've been emotionally cool to see him take himself out while getting eaten.
Nick's was the dumbest death. He was originally the most developed character out of the entire cabin group, then he was just thrown to the side, and then they just killed him off for shock value. They could've at the very least gave him a good send off.
I was like "what the f*** are you doing get off the balcony" then it broke and she got trapped and I'm like "Jane go help her" but she couldn't help her so she left Sarah and I'm just like "yeah I don't blame you she shouldn't have been on the balcony in the first place".
I do remember that, but I didn't know that it included "dying brutally". I think Nate and Eddie were also winners of that promo.
It must've felt pretty strange for her to play the game and see Brie, haha.
Edit: Typo.
Yeah may b I'm wrong but it felt like they wrote that scene one way. Said nah too straight foward, lets up the stupid! Say what you will but ,I think Jane's death there, was the orginal intent of the scene! Would of made a nice point for Clem to help Sarah by enourging her to cover her as she tried to help Jane!
I'd say Nicks death is THE dumbest death ever simply due to how much of fuck Telltale decided not to give regarding him. They didn't even give him any actual dialogue AT ALL for an entire episode, then he disappears and we find him again and hes just dead. The dude died OFF SCREEN for Christs sake. Nick is the poster boy for how determinant characters are handled in Telltale games.
Jane. Only b/c I felt like her death was out of character. She was so resilient and pragmatic coupled with the guilt she had for having to leave her sister behind...i don't think she would kill herself.
Definitely Omid.
Doug's death troubles me the most, but he had a great exit; doing something heroic.
Omid was a much loved character by the end of Season 1, and they brought him back in Season 2 for like two scenes. Telltale had a real chance to develop his character and give him more screen-time, which would have made his death a lot more emotional and respectable. Instead, the whole thing felt forced and rushed.
I respect her for doing it, and I don't think she had much choice. They already had one baby, and they would have been fucked with another. Then again, my anti-abortion stance would dictate that she took another human being's life through her suicide, so I hate her at the same time. Very complicated issue.
Out of character? There's no knowing how somebody could react in such a scenario. Plus, she probably knew Clementine was old enough to look after herself. She told her everything she needed to know about combat and survival.

I think English is better and text speak is horrendous.

Yeah, I'd say Omid takes the cake here.

She had more screen time after she was bitten than before, LOL.
I'd say Sarah's second death. Unrealistic, bad writting etc. That's worst death in Season 2 in my opinion.
Charles/Chuck. His death was more disappointing to me than dumb. I like on screen deaths. Not off screen. It would've been emotionally cool to see him take himself out while getting eaten.

The thread explanation was in text speak. Lyk ths nd u no
Just once, I'd like to see The Walking Dead Game have the whole group survive somehow xD
If I recall correctly Eddie was based on Sean Vanaman's brother and Nate was based off of his crazy friend.
Could be, not sure though. Doug was based-off someone on real life, too.

Hard to choose, considering Telltale's TWD has a lot of dumb deaths.
Gotta give it to Sarah though. That was simply a middle-finger to the fans.
Jane. Only b/c I felt like her death was out of character. She was so resilient and pragmatic coupled with the guilt she had for having to leave her sister behind...i don't think she would kill herself.

Edit: Triple Post (oooh baby a triple)
Run, Sarah, Run!
Sarah's second death.
Jane's death in Season 3. I was like "YOU BITCH"
mah boi kenny ;(''
runners up luke n nick
Definitely Omid.

Perhaps not everything. She did teach her that "kick the leg and knife the head" maneuver, which we've seen Clementine perform again this season.
