Anybody have any "Badass" scars they'd like to discuss?
So bit of a weird question but I was recently in an accident involving a door frame and an overly slippy floor.
I had a pretty huge gash in my head and everyone I knew said it would most likely scar as it was pretty deep.
So I may end up with a pretty gnarly vertical scar just above my left eyebrow.
At first I thought it would look pretty dumb but the swelling has gone down and I dunno, it could look cool in a weird angsty teenage boy sorta mindset?
So what about you guys? Anybody have any scars with cool stories behind them, I'd love to hear them and they'd probably make me feel more secure about my recent "deformity".

I do have a scar, but the story behind it's not so much cool as it is stupid.
When my brother and I were little we used to jump from my parents' dresser onto their bed for fun. One day I messed up my aim and hit my head on the edge, which was wooden and pretty pointed. Got a scar next to my left eyebrow. It's not very visible because it's right on the edge but it's still there.
So yeah. Not badass or anything, just the result of me being a dumb kid.
You and me both pal.
I have a scar on the left of my forehead due to an accident I had in middle school when I was 9.
Some older kids thought it would be a good idea to help one guy do the flag pose, and swing around the pole while I was standing right next to it. Just as soon as I saw them I tried to get out of the way for them, but they ended up knocking me towards the other supporting pole. While I regained consciousness I was screaming my head off while blood was dripping out of my forehead, and the pain felt as if boiling hot water was poured at one half of my head.
Now, it looks like a white colored Harry Potter scar above my left eyebrow.
Only a couple on my arm for welding in clothes that were too thin.
Funny you should say that, a friend of mine referred to himself as Ron Weasley when he seen my scar.
I'd say that I had my lightning bolt scar before Harry Potter made it cool, but I'm probably a year late.
I have a medium scar an inch next to my right eye that I got when I was about 6 years old when I fell on the edge of some stairs. (I fell because I was looking behind me because my aunt was chasing me and I tripped over)
I have 3 on my left part of my face. 2 on my cheek from a fucking serious dog bite, when I was 1 y/o,one from playing with my brother, when he accidentaly hit me and I went straight into the corner of the desk, hitting my head and the end of my eyebrow.
Another one right between my eyes, when I was riding my mare and things got a bit out of control.
My soul.
I actually have 6 diffrent scars, and none of them look cool and 2 of them are on my ass... I just dont scar well
When we were young me and my cousin spent a good amount of time (especially in the summers) at our grandma's house in a remote location (near a forest) in the countryside and she had a different area with a workshop, some storage space for the hay plus an attic, they were in pretty bad shape since they haven't been used since our grandpa passed away so everything there was falling apart.
Me and my cousin had the great idea to go up the stairs and into the attic, which was above the workshop, to see what's up there. The floor was covered with a thin layer of hay so we couldn't really see the planks which made up the floor, as I was older than my cousin I went first to see what's on the other side and as soon as I took a step the floor gave up immediately and I found myself down in the workshop, hay and wooden planks all over me, my cousin screaming like a maniac; I also realized I was bleeding, from my forehead, right above my right eyebrow, I am 19 years old now and I still have that scar above my eyebrow, people ask me all the time where I got it but I lie to everybody, telling them I got it from a fight heh.
Yeah not really badass or anything, just a stupid kid falling through an attic's floor.
I have one above my right eyebrow from being stupid when I was little.
I have a fair few to show off! Even - Even if they're not 'badass', and more a result of me being a stupid pleb when I was a small child.
My uncle's dog nibbled my hand when I was little. Well, less nibbled and more bit. I just wanted to pet the puppy, man! It did not want to be petted, however ._.
It's mostly just a pinkish streak on my hand now, though. Kinda like when a cut heals over, but is still kind of sore. Awful analogy. I'm lucky it didn't bite harder, could've been a lot nastier for Mini BHBrowne. Boooooring.
When I was even smaller, I accidentally ran through one of those glass door thingies. Thought the door was open. T'was not.
That one left a scar near my eye, but you can only see it when I scowl at someone.
And the last scar I have was from when I was in the last year of primary school, and I - uhm - accidentally walked into a big metal fence.
The kind that are in front of 'parking lots'. Got a little ol' scar on my forehead, again if I 'scowl'.
None of them are particularly interesting but, you know, as Luke once said :
"Scars? They're way cooler than stumps."
And my uncle lost a finger, so I guess I'm cooler than him!
Haha, sorry to hear the streak bad luck you've had in your lifetime but you're doing the right thing by having a great attitude towards them.
I have one on my left hand from when I was eight because I was climbing a fence with sharp tips at the end and i slipped and stabbed my hand.
Ouch, man that sounds painful.
When I was about 9, my friend was aggravated by her dad who was entering the vehicle we were riding in. She entered the back of the car, but she didn't go all the way over for me to sit down like I thought she would. She slammed the door shut as I tried to grab the door, crushing my right hand fingers. It broke all of my fingers. I have some gnarly scars from that.
Haha, the eyebrow seems to be a popular place for scars these days.
Jeez man that sounds more badass than most, I mean it could've been much worse and you seemed to handle it better than your cousin anyways.
Well each one has a story lol, I assume you sat on something pretty damn sharp.
I have a macaroni and cheese stain on my sweatpants, does that count?
No actually I do have one on my ankle. I thought I was so badass when I was a kid because I would jump off of my grandparent's bed and land like Spiderman. One day I slipped before I jumped, fell, and cut the back of my ankle open on some metal that was there. I said it looked like Anakin Skywalker at the end of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, I was such a cringy little nerd. Now I'm a taller nerd.
OMG you have a mare, that's so cool, a friend of mine owns a few horses but I was always too nervous to try riding one.
As long as it works I wouldn't worry about it, might use that myself in the future.
The real Clementine huh? I know Clem found it painful so I feel for you bro, I just hope you didn't loose finger lol.
Nerds are popular these days so I wouldn't worry.
Haha, I didn't, but it sure as hell felt like it.
Only scar I've got is on my knee from when I was a kid. I don't know why but I was under the coffee table and somehow scrapped my knee across a nail in the table. There was so much blood, I was freaking the hell out. It looks like a pretty ordinary scar despite how much blood there was.
That spot between the index and middle finger? I jabbed a narrow chemistry tube made of glass through there in class once.
Not very deep and it didn't hurt, the scar is also just a centimeter or two in length. Couldn't feel the stiching either. It was quite dramatic, a classmate that was local to the area where I went to school walked me to a medical institution though. The class proceeded without us. The tube was clean too, so no bad chemistry invovled, I was trying to get it into a hole in a cork lid. Afterwards we returned to class and resumed work.
Also, not a scar, but I have a huge dark spot in the middle of my right knee where I once scraped it on road asphalt while rollerblading when I was a kid.
Huge scar on my forehead because I broke my forehead when I was about 9.
Scars all over my thumb because a bird nearly bit it off.
Scar on my right bicep, right cheek, next to my right eye , right side of my scalp and left forearm 'cause I ran into barbed wire.
Scar on left collar bone. Firework fell and went off, shot right onto my collar bone. Smart me was wearing a sleeveless.
Shit ton of burn marks on wrists from cooking.
Huge gash scar on the bottom of my foot. Huge scary dog was chasing me, I didn't have shoes on but it didn't stop me from running. Ended up stepping on glass. Don't care though, dog was fucking scary.
Eh I've been through a lot when I was a kid, almost died many times, by the time the accident with the attic happened I was used to it all...
Here's another scar (hope you can see it in the pic): when I was much younger, I think 5 or 6 years old I cut the tip of my finger in a small kind of windmill, I don't know how it's called, it's used for corn and it's pretty small (maybe 1 meter and a half), it has blades, sharp blades and to this day I have no idea why I put my finger in there, but it cut the tip of my finger pretty bad and I still got the scar from it (I think I'll have it for the rest of my life)
I'm sorry to hear that, but yea that scar must've been deep.
You shouldn't be afraid,at all! My mare is a very gentle horse, she won't bite or kick or buck you off,but she's very stubborn and I always find myself having some trouble with her. But the satisfaction when I ride her at full speed, since she's an Arabian,is out of this world.
I admire your passion, my little sister always wanted to ride a horse so I'll take her with me to try it out and definantly consider riding one myself.
You gotta show us.
Hah, I barely scar.
I sliced my leg open with a razor once while shaving (I was distracted, it was on the bone... it's easier than you think) and I skinned my ankle on the day my sister was born (was an excited 11 year old and was getting out of the car... you get the idea) and those are the only scars I have below the waist. I have very light scarring on my left arm from a childhood dermatillomania phase where I could not sleep if I hadn't gouged my arm out.
Unless we're counting stretch marks, which I have everywhere. I like those though - they look cool. So I'd say my stretch marks look pretty badass, to be honest.
Not exactly a scar, but my index finger usually hurts after some hours playing TWDG because of the "Q" thing lol.
But being serious now... I have two older brothers and I used to be like a "tomboy" when I was younger, so you can imagine some good and badass scars, yes.
That's really cool! I hope that you will ride one and that you will enjoy it!
Well i'm sorry to hear that unfortunately I can't imagine the struggle as I play on PS4 lol.
Thanks, buddy
I have a scar (inside!) my mouth from when I was stupid as a kid and fell and accidentally bit my lip against those hardass floors inside swimming pools. It's not visible but I can still feel it with my tongue and I remember crying like a bitch and needing stitches. Nasty shit.
I also have a scar on my leg from gym class, a scar on my right arm from getting into a fight and a burn mark on my left arm from self harming.
My grandma was also a Holocaust survivor (my family is half Jewish/Native) and she had plenty of badass scars from her time in WWII.
