So, I got the TTG TWD Clementine hat, but everyone keeps asking me what the "D" stands for. Does anyone know?

Yes. When I asked Melissa Hutchison herself what the D stands for at Walker Stalker Con a couple of years ago, she said that it was supposed to be for a Japanese baseball team. Upon further research, it is closest in resemblance to the Chunichi Dragons.

That's interesting that it's for a Japanese team. I would've expected it to be from an American baseball team.
Arizona Dimondbacks baseball team. I'm still convinced that D = Death though since everyone around her dies.
She's incredibly nice and very easy to talk too. She clearly has a huge passion and love for this game and its fans (I think the recently released interview also showed that, but even in the short amount of time I was able to talk to her, it was quite evident). She also signed a Season 2 poster of Clem and Kenny hugging from Episode 2 and my own Clementine hat.
As a Dolphin fan, this is very inaccurate and it hurt to read this.

I don't exactly know but in one of the trailers for season 2 episode 5 and in the beginning of season 2 it is mentioned that Clem's dad gave it to her so I always thought it stood for "dad" like one of those best dad mugs but it's a hat instead but I guess it could also mean something Clem's dad likes with a "d" in it, don't get any dirty images.
The man who made clementine has a daughter and she has a similar hat..I guess he took inspiration from that.
It was of some team, at least from what I remember from people talking about it.
Now it's just a trademark thing for Clem.
If she ever loses that hat, hell will break loose.

You can buy one from the Skybound Store which is pretty low quality but looks okish.
That.. looks terrible.
It is, they should make it a darker blue, add some fake blood on it (optional), in general make it more quality, then it'd be better.
That's why is said "okish"
There are more on ETSY but the quality varies and the good looking one are more expensive due to being custom made.
I expected to be able to find some knock off somewhere like dipper's hat from gravity falls but damn there are none! Why hasn't TellTale capitilized on selling these hats yet considering theres no compettion?
