Not gonna lie, I thought that Lee and Lilly was gonna be a thing on my first playthrough and was kinda disappointed that it wasn't at first,… more then I saw how she killed Carley and fuck that bitch.
Christa and Omid takes the cake though.

Christa and Omid (Chromid) ALL THE WAY!!! They were the best people in the whole series and they were almost immediately likeable.
Lee and Carley (CarLee) are my cutest couple.
Ken and Kat are my devoted couple.
Luke and Jane (Lane/Juke) are the typical/badass couple.
Beck and Al are my funny/sassy couple, same with Con and Francine (like, I forget which show it is, but they remind me of this one couple on a show where the wife is sassy and the husband can be sassy as well).
Kate and Dave are my okay/regular couple.
Kate and Javi (Kavier) are my, big time, NOTP.
Matthew and Walter are my BROTP.
Ken and Sarita are my meh couple (like, it was alright that Ken was moving on and such and it was cute but... I dunno, I'm 50/50 on it).
Carley and Doug are my hero couple (like, when one rescues the other in some sort of life and death situation, like what you see in superhero movies).
Javi and Eleanor are my infatuation/forced couple (like, the tension was unrealistically high)
Tripp and Eleanor are my "aww" couple.
Clem and Gabe are my sweetheart/young love couple (like, it would work out and it's kinda cute).
Luke and Bonnie is a couple that I didn't even really think about cuz the chemistry was very one sided (Bonnie's side)

I think its a combination of the "protect Clementine" mindset and some people hating on Gabe.

That's sorta my thought too, but I'd honestly prefer that we get some screentime of them just talking and working on those sort things long before anything more really develops. I feel like people hate on Gabe mostly just to hate on him since there's always gotta be someone for that, it seems. Which sucks because it feels like he's somewhat intentionally crafted to avoid falling too far into any of the issues people had with previous teens and young adults, to the point of having a few quick fakeouts.

Omid and Krista. I think they were the power couple. And I'm mainly seeing as how they were more interactive to one another than the other couples that seem to sort of stay distant from one another. Sometimes I didn't know certain couples were couples like Alvin and Rebecca.
My favorite is Omid and Christa. They have/had? great chemistry, and their distinctively clashing personalities (Omid's humor and Christa's stern pessimism) were really well done dialogue and interaction wise, while still keeping the sense that they were a happy couple.
I also really like Kenny and Katjaa. Despite their occasional conflicts, you could really feel the loving bond between them and how much Duck meant to them.
