Yeah, OP, Gabe should screw off somewhere else, Clem is smart so she won't get involved in that shit.

People REALLY need to get over themselves when it comes to this topic. I'm dead serious about that. If the game leaves it open to happen then damn right I'm going to allow/make it happen. Real teenagers defy their parents all the time so I hope Clementine gives a big middle finger to everyone and dates him.

  • You're delusional if you think Clementine will get in a relationship with Gabe, it's not going to happen, I don't have anything to worry about knowing Clem.

  • If that's all you're going to write then don't bother responding to me. I don't have time for ignorance from someone who likes to act like they're writing the script or acts like they have a crystal ball that allows them to see the future of the storyline. Your words and your opinions aren't fact. Deal with it.

This, they have no personality match at all either (also Gabe is just some edgy angry teen who's precarious; can't even defend himself), plus it's just not like Clem, especially when she doesn't want to even get attached to groups. Doubt Telltale would go this route, I don't think it'll happen at all, not to mention how forced it would be. The only reason we have to keep doing anti-Gabe agenda is because the influx of pro-Gabe X Clem people constantly talk about it.

Well I just wrote something else, it's not like your comments are exactly better.

I don't have time for ignorance from someone who likes to act like they're writing the script or acts like they have a crystal ball that allows them to see the future of the storyline. Your words and your opinions aren't fact. Deal with it.

Using deductive reasoning, I can only predict that it won't occur, I'm sorry you really want this forced relationship to happen, but it most likely won't. So please, if all you're going to say is "lol ur ignorant xD" and "ur acting like ur writing a script!!!!@" then I don't see why I should even be considering your opinion. If you're trying to make an argument, it's not working out well, plus I don't feel like I should have to reiterate countless topics that have been discussed in many other threads, maybe you can use your brain to get further into detail on why it won't happen most likely, or do you just want to be spoonfed everything because if you aren't, then you'll flip out because you can't think.

Its not that I don't want Clementine to date anyone. No, this isn't the issue here.

The issue is the option is fucking GABE.

Maybe he'll get better as the story progresses, but I'm not liking his track record. He's an okay kid and he means well, but I can smell the shitbird on him from miles away. Being a hormonal, whiny teenager in the outbreak that can't accept correction is just dangerous unless you're Carl Grimes and have plot armor. Even if it IS normal for his age, the unforgiving universe of The Walking Dead doesn't see it that way.

Clementine, a character that I've spent the last 4 years looking out for...numerous fucked situations of death, depression, fear, and everything in between just to end up with Gabe. K.

Call me the reluctant guardian of a fictional character in this case.

  • Seriously what has Gabe ever "whined" about? The worst I've seen from him is get annoyed that you chose to stay on the road instead of bunking down. People keep on saying Gabe is just a whiny stereotypical teen and I've yet to see what they're talking about.

  • I am prying
    To fined a candy bar

  • Seriously what has Gabe ever "whined" about?

The fact that according to Kate he tells her he's not his mom, which is kind of uncalled for.
The fact that he moodily walks off on is own without saying a word.
The fact that he whines about the fact that the van ate his tape.
The fact that he shrugs off Javier's encouragement if you praise him for staying to help Kate.
The fact that he travels the already treaded-to-death teenage path of 'I want to be a man' and whines about how he himself is bad.
The entire fiasco with Conrad thereafter, which I don't really care for now that Conrad's dead, but it could have escalated further.

I'm sure there's a couple of things I missed, but I hope you get that this 'whining' personality of his isn't a conjuration of ours and is a legitimate thing that people dislike about him.

Real teenagers defy their parents all the time

    enter image description here

She's not a real teenager though, she's most likely a severely mentally disturbed child who has seen horrors the likes of which we can't comprehend and you go and say she needs to act like a cunt because real teenagers who have parents that only try to look out for them need to be defied?

That's real shitty, and goes to show just how little Clem and the walking piss stain have in common. That your argument isn't "they seem to work well together, here's why (of course it's not, cause they don't)" and is instead "Clem needs to sully her parents, who are dead and the likes of which she saw them only minutes before having to abandon her surrogate and go off alone left trauma I'm certain she'll never fully recover from" leaves me to think people just like seeing two underage kids romantically involved together because Clementine really needs to be with a loser who stabs laying walkers when he's angry.

I hope Clementine gives a big middle finger to everyone and dates him.

  • Well, like it or not, those points are valid and completely constitute towards whining.

If it helps any, this makes him a more realistic character in my book.

It's what most people in the outbreak would be. Not everyone in The Walking Dead is gonna be a badass. Regardless of how one might think their journey would go in it.

People actually considering Gabe to be love interest LUL

That mofo will be dead in one of the next 2 episodes. The fact they killed Mariana as easy as snapping their fingers, means Gabe doesn't stand a minuscule chance.

  • Hahaha, doubt it will happen. Although, I couldn't care less. Just imagine

I would like to see Clem in love. But not with Gabe! He is a stupid arrogant boring teenage guy with nearly no good characteristics.

If Telltale made the first two episodes longer with more conversations (like in season 1+2) we would know Gabe more. But at the current state he is what he is...

And it's looks like lazy story writing: "Oh, a teenage guy! First time Clem see a teenage guy. Sure she would fall in love with him... Although she met many other people before..."

  • What am I looking at?

And more importantly: do I want to know what I'm looking at?

  • The fact that according to Kate he tells her he's not his mom, which is kind of uncalled for.

    That is a valid point.

The fact that he moodily walks off on is own without saying a word.

Gabe apologized to Javier about this, and explained that he does not wish to be angry but doesn't know how to do that.

The fact that he whines about the fact that the van ate his tape

That is not even remotely note-worthy. I know you included that on the list because @AgentZ46 asked for any instances when he complained—but, nonetheless, I do not believe it is something serious enough to condemn him for.

The fact that he shrugs off Javier's encouragement if you praise him for staying to help Kate.

He was grieving. That was a reaction, not a decision.

The fact that he travels the already treaded-to-death teenage path of 'I want to be a man' and whines about how he himself is bad.

Though I will admit it would be cute to see her break out of that shell.

That will probably be a choice. I hope I can just stay silent and let her decide for herself. We aren't Lee, we aren't her parents, this is her choice to make.
She's been through so much shit, this could be a chance for her to be happy.

  • You know, at this point and time I would only give Clem to another girl who actually values her. Too many pricks in TWD.

Hopefully she keeps that mindset forever. Though I will admit it would be cute to see her break out of that shell. You didn't hear that from me.
