Ugh.... I'm affraid that this franchise will be ruined totally by the final of S3.

Uh... isn't that what a review is meant to do? Evaluate the product and pr… moreovide a critical analysis of what worked and what didn't?
On another note, these tweets are going to piss people off even more now, just watch. Shit's gonna be like the Sarah debacle all over again.

Ya know, if I didn't listen to any of my criticisms I wouldn't have gotten anywhere near as good as I am with my drawings and writing. It's much more beneficial when you're not on a high horse.

Yes, they were meant to do that, however nowadays it's hard to find a review with a critical analysis. Most of them are just PR hype arcticles. Obviously, those review sites want recognition and companies including Telltale give exposure to reviews that give a game a good mark and scream that it's best game ever. So, I doubt that Telltale lead writer actually read critical reviews.

10 different writers between S3 ep1-2 can't even write a story 1/4 as good as Vanaman Whitta Darin and Ainsworth did in the whole S1
Every day i miss these guys more and more

You do realize the tweet about reviews being essays was from October 24th, two months before ANF's premiere, which was December 20th. Most likely, he's referring to the TV show.

A New Frontier is terrible and a disgrace to the series and I hope that anyone from Telltale reading this is ashamed of your false advertising and lack of originality or passion for what this series is about.

Now that I think of it, you're right, it can't be about the game. I don't remember any early access this soon. TWD S7 premiered in October I think, so then... huh. I guess Kane was talking about criticisms to how they dragged out the Lucille part for two episodes.
Was Kane a writer for the show as well?
Last Edit for the sake of your feed: Nvm, stupid question. I just don't remember seeing his name anywhere on the credits.
Really...you say Kenny is realistic...lol...improbable escape from s1...able to fight after having part of his face crushed...only realistic thing about him is the way he died.
What I am about to say below does not apply to your thread, Noodle; this one is one of the handful that are tidy and relatively founded, which is awesome.
The flood of shit threads ever since A New Frontier was released discourages me from coming into this community, every day more. Virtually all threads are speaking about the same, and not even half of them are good threads to begin with. I am growing tired of this. The forum continues on like this throughout the season and I will log out and will not come back.
Telltale forums, we get it. You don't like New Frontier. You have every right to state your opinion, but you're not adding anything of substance apart from the hundreds upon hundreds of other rant threads. You're just beating a dead horse at this point.

As far as I can see there's nothing to back that up.
One day he says that reviewers shouldn't review episodes crytically and the other he defends himself by saying that his episodes were received positively through reviews. It leaves an impression that he's a hypocrat when it comes to reviews.
And there's nothing to back up what you're saying.
The issue is not that he doesn't think people should review episodes critically, he just doesn't understand why critics need to write the equivalent of a 10 page school essay concerning it. Reviews should be kept brief, but still address both the good and bad aspects of what they are reviewing, not these long, drawn out, boring walls of text.

Or at least stop whining in every God damned thread...there are many things wrong with ANF...length and Clementine play length. I am enjoying it..but the length is hurting the characters...and I wanted to explore Prescott.

Still haven't implied that.
To be fair, Darin and Ainsworth still work there
Welp, more fuel for the fire I suppose. Although I gotta respect this guy for sticking with his story, but hate him for making a crappy story imo.
Didn't knew lel
And Ainsworth wasn't a writer for S1, just a director. He did write part of the 400 Days DLC though.

Not if people pay attention to the date of the tweet, which was October 24th, 2016, so he can't be referring to the game.

Wha... Wait... Are you for real? There is a difference between a realistic CHARACTER and realistic SET PIECES they are put in.

I would love to travel back in time to July 2016.
Must not... mention... Clementine's playtime... again...

You think he has different opinion when it comes to the game?
Most likely, but it doesn't change the way he feels about reviews, does it?
You hear that guys? Time to stop complaining about how badly Telltale crapped the bed.
Probably, considering he actually involved with it.
No, he was never a writer for the TV series, I assume he's just a fan of the show.

Sorry bud but I'm not the one who revived the thread ¯_(ツ)_/¯
No, dude, if you dislike the game you can't write an essay, but if you like it then go for it!!
Edit: nvm lolololol
Yes let's just sit in the corner and twiddle our thumbs and hope that TT realizes how shit this game is and changes it. Oh wait..
