[Clem, AJ, and Javi are driving down the highway in Season 4 Episode 1:]

Javi: Good thing you got that car you wanted, huh, Clem?

Clem: Yep, too bad it didn't come with seatbelts though... Hey, is that a walker in the middle of the ro-

[Car crashes, Clem's body flies dozens upon dozens of feet away from the car in a spectacular feat that defies logic and physics]

    Javi: Clem! Are you okay?

    Clem: ...I can't feel anything.

    Javi: That's good, right?

Clem: No, Javi, I can't feel anything.

[Clem gets chewed up by walkers]

    Javi: NNNNNOOOOOoooooo!

  • Dunno, I'll have a better idea once Ricks story ends.

I hope Clem gets killed by robot Lee for leaving him behind or shooting him.

    Give her a morbid death.

  • She should be president of the New United States of America "Zombie free, for you and me" Semper Fi HAHAHHAHAHAH

  • By letting her join the comics, where she hopefully lasts as long as Carl will.

  • Definitely no one would choose Gabe over Clem

Rather they wouldn't, but I'd prefer a episode dedicated to her and only her... I'd want it to be a long process and a sad moment. I don't w

  • I don´t think TTG has the balls to kill Clem

Why does everyone think she has to die? What happens if she lives after the final game/episode? I bet people would be more shocked if she survived given TTG's history....

  • I'm not really sure. That's just the vibe I'm getting based on how this season was introduced and sold. I see no reason why Telltale just didn't stick with Clem as the playable protagonist from last season. (One could argue she still is, but seeing as what we've gotten in these 2 episodes, and the recent interview...) They have a new character, Javier who is the central point of the story. You play as him and must survive with and protect your family, after apocalyptic situations tear them apart. He also encounters Clementine, a young girl whom he has never met before and she helps him defend himself and his family.
BUT, while this season introduces these things to new players (yes, it does it quite well), it ends up disconnecting the game from the baggage of the previous 2 seasons. References are there, but they are all very vague to keep new players less confused and there is no true impact [on Clem] based on what has happened In the past.] The game is less about Clementine's story, and more about Javier's struggles to keep his family safe. Clem is just along for the ride. Also, from a technical standpoint, it is clear that this season tries to distance itself from the previous season. No "Previously On..." segment for returning players (though it wouldn't make sense given how the game opens), the endings to Season 2 are quickly chopped off and are put on the same path (dead characters), it isn't a direct continuation (Season 3 vs. A New Frontier)...

Now, my huge rant here doesn't mean that I'm not happy with how season 3/ANF is right now, I love it. Javier is fresh and is a good way to see the different, "veteran" Clem. I'm just trying to look at all this from a neutral point of view. All I'm trying to point out is that Telltale may be moving on from Clementine and into new story possibilities, and that at this point, the goal of Season One (protect Clem) is long gone. Clem is a hardened survivor now, we have no relation to her as Javier, and we (as players) may soon get even less.
Or it's just my crazy, personal conspiracy. :smirk:

  • It should've already been over. At this point I really don't care.

  • I think that's the ending they should aim for, she grows into an experienced survivor who ends up happy after everything she's been through. Maybe throw in another Lee flashback... i would cry for sure

I just want her to be happy. After everything. The misery needs to stop. There's still hope out there.

Honestly, I can see Javier and Clem having a brother/sister type of relationship, but no one will ever replace Lee as father, nor does Clem require a father guidance in her life anymore.

That'd better be the end of the game series all together at that point. Also, any humane person would give up their life for a 13 Year Old girl, especially one that he trusts and will most likely see as his own daughter.

  • Same may actually, depends on the circumstances and reasons.

I never thought I was going to shoot Kenny, but I actually did because I didn't know about the baby at the time.

  • Clementine isn't going to die, it's just people who are crying over the fact Kenny and jane are dead (constantly).

Exactly that, they're aiming for that I believe, they should for a well experienced Clem survivalist in the zombie world, who knows how to deal with Muertos

How do you think Telltale should end Clem´s story?

    Not with her death.

They shouldn't end her story, i want all TWD Games to be about her!

  • She's walking alone, dressed in all black. Everyone she knew died a stupid and avoidable death again. She finds a tape player, and it reminds her of that time Jorge had to bury his baby sister or niece or something. She presses play, and the song that plays is "In the End" by Linkin Park. She gets a broody face as she walks towards the camera, and it cuts to credits with the song still playing.

  • They ended it in Season 2 because they want Artistic Integrity over money

  • Dying in her bed many years from now.

  • I really like Clementine.

  • Thinking about how terribly stupid Telltale got rid of Kenny, Jane and Wellington.. it wouldn't be too far-fetched to assume that Clem just falls off a horse and breaks her neck in a random forrest.

  • I think that Clem's story will end the same way Bumblebee's ended in Transformers Prime.

Haha, I actually was sort of split on this choice. However just like when Luke died (Screw you Bonnie), I believed covering him/them was

  • They needed to end it when she reached Wellington or Howes

  • I think the most depressing ending for her would be reaching someplace like Wellington, safe and all that junk, but only to find out there is not a single living being there or her dying right before entering.

    I've just made myself cry.

  • After she just kissed the prom queen? Lol

    Never. Again.

I do give them props for a seen like that. Especially since many won't see it because in my opinion running with your family is a much worse option than covering them haha.
