    So was Jane.

  • And your point is?
    ....
That's not me being smart or whatever, that's a legitimate question.

    Jane's a grown woman, Clem is 13

  • I'm not suggesting that Clementine has sex right now if that's what you're implying.

  • Well if I was playing as Javi I'd choose Gabe.

It's a stupid decision considering the options and who in the hell would choose Gabe? But let's talk about Telltale NOT making stupid decisions these days...

  • Really necessary to call others freaks?

I hope it's a choice, to help with all you freaks that want to see it. I mean... If it's a choice and she wants it... Then I can't say no to her, and I shouldn't... But if he hurts her, Gabe is dead to me!

  • See this is exactly what I'm talking about. Why the backlash for opinions about disliking Gabe? Look at all the sound reasons people are writing.. No one is hating him for simply being weak, Clem used to be a weak child in S1 and no one disliked her for it.
I don't personally hate Gabe but I dislike him and would learn to hate him if they do go further with the Clem-Gabe romance.

Personally I just think his character belongs in a time setting where the zombie outbreak barely started, but this is supposed to be 4 years after right? He does not need to be a "badass", but you'd think he has seen enough horrors by now that he'd be afraid of other people or afraid of chilling in someones home just cause they had pudding.

A moody teenager seems an odd fit for a zombie apocalypse, to me it comes off as cheesy and over done. The same as if they had a corny romeo and juliet-like romance, there are simply bigger things to worry about in their cruel world. I definitely think the writing for his character is very poor. (reminds me of a story for a stand alone zombie movie)
We don't need to agree, some people like him and even more don't. It's not harsh it's just so many bad qualities that some of us can't shrug off. Plus we love Clem, she deserves better than to be forced into a corny teen romance story. It would be cool to see it happen when she's a bit older if it is written well, the whole "not until she's 50" thing is just a joke anyways.

What about this kid is so unlikable besides the fact that he's a thirteen year old boy who's not as badass as Clem? An understatemen

  • I'm just joking.

  • Depending on the scenario, Gabe would be the smarter choice since Clementine would be expected to be able to get herself out of danger because that's who she is, not the mention the fact that Javier has been taking care of Gabe for years because they're famili.

I agree, yeah maybe it'll be cute but idk i just like her to be not very interested in this stuff, like she is in that Screenshot :)

Hopefully she keeps that mindset forever. Though I will admit it would be cute to see her break out of that shell. You didn't hear that from me.

  • Seriously. I can't imagine myself picking Gabe over Clem, and I hope they don't make that choice for a number of reasons, chief among them due to their handling of determinant characters. But in the end it's simply going to come down to the fact that I'm playing as Javier, but I'm not Javier. I don't know any of these characters as well as he does, and **I'm ** not going to make a choice because I think its what Javier would do. I've been playing a lot longer than he's been playable, and I'm not going to choose a character he likes over one I do.

If they do then they have truly lost their way and haven't learned a single thing from the incredibly skewed statistics from the first "two" episodes.

  • Id be fine with it eventually. As long as it makes my clem happy. and i dont know why some of you are acting like your going to pick for clem. sit down plz like rah

    Right, exactly.

I do hope something interesting happens with his character, but from what we've seen I can't really see how it's going to end up emotionally enthralling or impactful.
