No! No no! Big is now codeword for short! Telltale taught me that!

  • I think its mostly due to the other tweet, that plus saying the episode is "BIG" and now saying "FAN FEED BACK" Its like everything we've been having problems with all being pushed in one tweet.

But yeah, in the end, community managers cant really do much, he cant just tweet out "lmao FUCK season 3!"

  • Well I'm glad they are taking their time on this episode so it won't release this month (well I hope they have been working on it for awhile) length does not matter to me really but I longer episode is good in my book.

  • tfw you start getting hopeful again but you know you shouldn't

  • After the Melisa interview, I feel like its not coming out this month and seems to be coming out in late February because they, you know, arnt super sure what they are doing.

  • So big we had to split it in 3 parts, each having 30 minutes! But if you look into your hearts, the episodes can last for hours!

  • Glad to see he's taking the feedback in stride. I'm curious about this Clementine scene in episode 3

  • mfw they actually try to improve but clem still isn't playable

  • wow this revives some hope in me, I really want to believe this, I really do.

but last time I trusted them, I got very disappointed, so idk man.

Not sure how to link tweets the way they are in this thread on mobile, but Yeah. Having a two-part premiere kind of puts us at a slightly unusual rollout. Definitely working in a lot of fan feedback for Ep 3, too!

  • I wonder if this Clem scene will be one of her flashbacks?

Or maybe it's a consequence of the choice to bring her to New Richmond...:fearful:
  • Well of course they are going to hurt her...getting branded hurts I would assume.

If... if they hurt her I can't guarantee for anything. >:'(

  • Man, imagine going back to the days of Season 2 where people thought that 90 minute episodes were short, and then compare that to now. 0.0

I just hope that Telltale is genuinely taking feedback in earnest and working towards longer episodes. I would ideally prefer that episodes are at the very least two hours minimum. Episodes closer in length to a TV show episode don't work as well when you only have five or six episodes as opposed to 8-12 episodes (average) like a normal TV show would. Telltale should acknowledge that and either make their episodes beefier, or just release more episodes if they want to emulate TV episodes in terms of quicker pacing.

Hurt her? They're not the ones who hurt people.

  • Hmmm I feel nothing from these tweets.

  • Hopefully they genuinely mean "big episode" and not "90 minutes or shorter"

Too big? Episode 3 Above The Law part 1 and 2? Due to it being too big? Probably.

Clem has an Ep3 scene that literally broke me.

Is she going to break another finger this time? Yay emotional investment!

Clem comes to terms with her crippling fear of having people wear seat belts. :p

  • I really hope they do take in fan feed back, it be extremely disappointing already knowing that S3 isnt even that in stone and they are rewriting just for them to ignore what fans think would work better for the season.

It's funny how they are already promoting the episode using the same way they always use, mention Clem so we can attract her fans.

Like before release they kept spamming those Clem screenshots like she is an actual main protagonist in the game, and all what we got was just 1% of Clem playtime and just in the past.

I'm sorry I want to raise my hopes up
but I'm afraid from getting the same disappointment again.

All what i hope now that Job is talking true and they are actually taking our criticism addressed.

  • New Tweet.

Job says he's listened to fan feedback on the length of the episodes and confirms they'll now ALL be 45 minutes.

Don't you go all Gabe Newell on us

  • Now is this Telltale's definition of big or the general definition of big?

  • I'll believe it when I see it. Telltale seriously broke a lot of the trust I have in them with the two part premiere, they need to work in order to get it back. Actions speak louder than words.

  • LMAO

When staff has lied to the fans so many times but you get a little hyped so you have so many conflicting feelings at once

  • I said it earlier in the thread and I'll say it here, actions speak louder than words. I lost a lot of the trust I have in Telltale after their blatant lies concerning the two part premiere. And with the interview with Melissa Hutchison revealing a lot of the stuff going on behind the scenes, I lost even more, so I'm quite hesitant to believe what Job is saying here concerning Episode 3. Are they really listening to the feedback, or just the positive reviews by websites? I guess we'll see with Episode 3.

  • To be fair, other TTG series like Wolf and Borderlands also had rewrites (The Stranger's identity in Borderlands was largely determined by fan feedback for example). I'm not defending it here and past posts of mine will show that I've largely been an advocate of Telltale sticking to their initial vision from the get go like they did with Season 1, but I just wanted to say that this isn't new for New Frontier.

  • Completely understand, after all the anticipation the first two episodes left me really disappointed. I'm kinda just clinging to hope since the game isn't complete they'll actually take feedback into account, I really do want this entry to be worth the wait.
