  • I believe she's going to get tortured in some way by the New Frontier, given that she killed multiple NF men and left their organization unofficially. I also predict she'll get caught if you let her find her "own way" around, because you can also sell her out (which is quite immoral to do regardless). I hope nothing too bad happens though, I don't want Clem getting hurt :^(.

Nice. Worried about Clem now tho lol

  • Not true, having your expectations turn out to be fictitious is a horrible feeling

Fake, artificial and misleading hype for what I know will be inevitably bad is better than no hype

  • I recognize that, and I'm not saying that rewrites are necessarily a bad thing, it can make the story better (as evident with Tales). However, with what's going on with ANF, it seems like they have no clue what to do with the story they have put forward in the first two episodes, and the writing staff is in complete disarray as a result (Wolf and Borderlands had 2-4 writers per episode, ANF had 7-8, and God knows how many additional writers).

To be fair, other TTG series like Wolf and Borderlands also had rewrites (The Stranger's identity in Borderlands was largely determined by f

Yeah, there are a few differences here such as quantity of writers. As I said, I'm not fully defending it (and I otherwise strongly advocate Telltale stick to their initial vision outside of using fan feedback to clarify their message without directly modifying the story), I just wanted to say that the rewrites might just be the symptom of a further issue and not the primary issue itself. Melissa's interview illuminates some potential concerns, most definitely, but the rewrites alone might not be the most pressing issue like how some are seeing it.

Are you sure? Because from what I've seen back then, no one guessed his identity except maybe on or two members and they were probably joking about it.

There was an article Telltale retweeted from Playboy featuring some brief comments from the dev teams, where one of the topics was explaining how they chose [REDACTED] to be the Stranger because fans loved them. It wasn't due to speculation or plausibility but rather fan service.

  • It's funny that something as simple as fan service turns out to be one of the best plot twists I have ever seen.

I heard a different story, according to the developer AMA, "you know who" was up in the air as one of the suspects and one of the developers stated that the identity of the stranger was still unknown and they didn't fully figure it out until they were half way developing the story and listening to fan feedback. They didn't say it was a rewrite.

  • It would appear that saying the new episode is big is this season's version of the episode is "within arms reach".

Remember that one time for S2 E3 Job tweeted something along the lines of "The butterfly effect plays a BIG impact in this episode!" lmao. DON'T TRUST HIM.

  • You mean SOON?

  • No its because telltale knows Clem=TWD. Telltale has said before that it's ALWAYS been about clem. So the fact that they even bothered to bring javi in this season is the issue, just to get more fans into the seriers (as if the fanban isn't decently big already). You got it backwards, javi is the problem imo. Should've just made this about clems story but telltale is retarded.

I just realized the episode 3 thread is gone, was it closed? Anyway pretty standard tweets, theres a big scene in the next episode blah blah

  • Intense ad

  • I can't be the only one who finds it funny that before Season 3's release, TellTale was like "JAVIER THIS, JAVIER THAT!" Now it's Clem the one being marketed again.

  • Also, Tales from the Borderlands also kept alot of the original story ideas. Most of the changes were still involved in the story. For example how Gortys was suppose to be a depressed Robot was always planned for the story and to do the same thing in the story, finding the vault. Wolf also didnt change that much, the only real change was that Branagin was involved and thought Bigby was the killer.

  • Well, time skip confirmed. Kinda like Tales From The Borderlands.

  • Can't even lie I'm excited! The only heart breaking thing I could think of would be them killing AJ in front of her now that would be FUBAR

Even more lies. Brad is just saying that to save his own skin. I mean how could anybody buy this? We saw how much they listened with not only the shitty flashbacks, but the length of the episodes when people constantly wanted longer episodes.

I'm not even sure we'll ever see 30-year-old Clem honestly, they can't go ahead of the comic's timeline and they're already near the present comic's timeline, so yeah, unless they keep this series going for a realllllllly long time.
