She is trapped in a sea of walkers and you have a choice of whether or not to sacrifice somebody else to save her. Then for those that did save her she trips on a rock and gets a stick through her head seconds later just to piss most of you people off.
She just dies of pneumonia or some untreated sickness
I'm thinking the same thing.Have Clem(age 15) sick at the beginning of season 4 in a very subtle way. By episode s4epi3 Clem is so sick to the point where she develops a fever but keeps it to herself because she wants to selflessly wants more attention to A.J. who is also sick(common cold).
S4epi4 Clem group finds a major community and are assigned to their own cabins. AJ and Clem get the cabin that has a hidden stash of cocaine that the community didn't know about and this particular cabin was used as a stash spot in secret before Clem's arrival.
So, to Clem's surprise, two days after moving to her cabin, someone intrudes her cabin in the middle of the night, a client of the dealer. Clem's wakes up to see what's going on. And is quickly knocked out by the intruder.
Clem wakes mins later but is overwhelmed by her sickness, dizzy, and can't get up. Hearing only blurry sounding questions from the intruder on where is his delivery.
Clem pleads with the intruder and offers him help find the stash, but he's impatient and believes that Clem is stalling because she can't get up. Feeling cheated, he gets AJ as a hostage, making threats to hurt him.
Clem still can't get up, but notices that she is siting on a fork. The intruder checks the whole house but finds nothing. Clem still can't get up hides a fork in her sleeve. The man is about to leave but wants to bring AJ with him so Clem stays quiet about the break in and the drugs. She tells him that she'll give him all of her portions, supplies, anything. The man then makes "advances" on Clem. Clem at that moment when the intruder lends on Clem, close and his neck expose, she uses all of strength to stab him in the neck with a fork.
He quickly chokes Clem. Clem lays defenseless and can't fight back. She is at the edge of losing consciousness, but the man passes out from blood loss and dies.
15 mins later, AJ and a doctor arrives to tend to Clem.
S4epi5
Clem wakes in the doctor's bed with a high fever fading in and out of consciousness . She murmurs several names: Lee, Luke,Christa,Carver and Javier.
While sleeping, Clem has several flashback. She flashes to the days of surviving with Christa apologizing about Omid's death, Christa replies," I will have to forgive you in time." and begin stitching a cut on christa's arm.
She fades back into another flashback with Luke and remembers the kindness that he shows her. in the background the echoing of carver's voice saying," we're more alike than you think" then showing the carver like choices.
Javier's flashback shows the times that family values were noticed by Clem, Echoing the words: " My family comes first"
Last. Clem is visited by Lee. unsure that it's real walks with Lee into the train of savannah and rides away.
She just dies of pneumonia or some untreated sickness.
She's still young and medicine is scarce
I mean, it's the zombie apocalypse and y… moreou die from some sickness that isn't even considered all that serious anymore.
It's so anti-climactic, but in a good way.
What makes you think writers have to kill Clementine, is it some sort of 200% guarantee that every main character has to die for their story to end? Can't stories end in a fulfilling way without death? Clementine's story will eventually end, but she won't die, thats a guarantee.
But the writers will have to do it sometime. They can't leave Clem going forever. If they let her escape, fans will keep waiting for her every season.
It's gonna be hard for the writers to let go. I'm just trying to give you all a taste of that.
? I never got shit for being a Batman or Jack Bauer fan, not sure what makes Clementine a unique exception. Could all of that be replaced with sheriff hats for Rick fans, or is that a different case?
I'm sorry I myself love Clem too..but if she died I'd be equally sad as when Lee passed on. But I'm not overly obsessed to unhealthy and unr… moreeal levels because I know that in the walking dead no one was ever truly safe.
On the contrary I'm thinking this over obsessive Clem fanbase love could potentially make a funny South Park parody of sorts about the fans if it got anymore intense and Comedy Central or Robot Chicken got their hands on this information.
Like I just could imagine a crowd of thousands if not millions of people, with Clem hats chasing a animated Melissa Hutchison whom is escaping in a chopper trying to get away from 3,000,000 fans with Clementine hats that want to cage her and get her autograph on their caps,.. then suddenly they all fall off a cliff into the ocean in the name of Clementine with all the "D" caps floating above the surface.
They also might catch, bind and crucify or lynnch all those who dare speak up any… [view original content]
I like the idea of her death being similar to lees. But the part when she gets bit has to be done in a really good and believable way. Personally, I kinda feel the way lee got bit was a little weird
Suicide seemes like a realistic death for her, after all shes gone through she just cant take it anymore. But i cant see her killing herself AFTER helping out javi. I mean she just met him it wasnt exactly her life goal to get Javis group to safety. Also assuming aj is still alive, would she really just leave him like that?
Hmm, I've actually been thinking of ways they could respectfully kill Clem off this season. I've written entire sequences of events, dialogu… moree, explanation for things that led up to this point, etc. I won't post them here of course, but I've been thinking of a few. To put it lightly, You'd have to kill a character like Clem in the most respectful and kind way possible. Despite me not thinking she's well written at all, Clem is still a very beloved character, and an important one to the overall story. You can't kill her for shock value and you certainly can't give her a poor death. The way I'd write Clem off is with subtlety and respect.
Build it up in clever foreshadowing throughout the season, have her say things that later play into the overall situation, and then leave the ending with a choice. Whatever situation she's in, let it involve all of that foreshadowing and build up, let it involve dialogue from past episodes, and make it a cho… [view original content]

I agree with others that Clementine doesn't have to die to end the series. Although, since this is Telltale's TWD and the deaths mostly consists of shock value without any actual meaning; I would give Clementine to Naughty Dog as the protagonists never die!
In all seriousness though, if the game followed the villain route for Clementine I could see the game ending when Javier realises Clementine betrayed them.
On another note, I wonder how fixed people are on the idea that finality for a character or show has to result in death? I don't believe that these two idea's should always relate. TFTB, in my opinion Telltale's best series, has tackled against this in both ways. It brought two characters both back despite them both dying. Conversely, the story felt complete at the end despite the protagonists not dying. If we're talking about a game of the same genre then consider the ending to 'the last of us'.
Concluding: I don't need to experience Clementine's death to be satisfied that Telltale's TWD has ended.
The Last of Us is back.
I also don't agree that Clementine's death should end the series. If Clem dies, I think the series should continue.
I just think keeping her alive and continuing with another character would give false hope to all Clem-lovers.
Ending the series with her alive at the age of 18 or something when she's an adult might be a good way to go. Knowing Telltale, there will most likely be a sad ending though.

Well maybe she will die eventually...we all do....but not anytime soon. I see TellTalegames TWD as a story as told by Clementine, many years in the future.
Javier is taken hostage by Arvo. She confronts him, but he has a gun to Javier's head.
"Put the gun down, bitch!"
BAM
Clem would be dead, but instead the power of Kenny compells her! She grows a beard that instantly deflects the bullet! "You fuckin' shitbird!" she growls as the Holy Crowbar of Howes falls from Great Boat in the Sky into her hands. Arvo says [Speaking Russian]. Such attempts might have convinced Clementine, but unfortunatly for him, she's only interested in hearing American. Javier flips Arvo over his back because he remembers that Arvo weighs, like, 140 lbs. Clementine stands above the shitbird, and recites scripture before putting him down. "And the LORD was wroth with Carver. He sent out the eyes of the innocent, for they need not see the fate of the damned. He striketh Carver with his Crowbar, for it was Holy, untill Carver's head returned from which it came. And it was good in the eyes of the LORD." Arvo tries to scurry away, but it is too late. Clementine ends the commie's life. She stares up into the sky, seeing Lee's arm give her a thumbs up.
Fade to Black
50 Years Later
She steps to the Gates of Wellington, and they open, just as scripture had said they would. There, waiting for her, is Kenny, Lee, and A.J.
Hail Kenny, full of boats, the 'stache is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst urbans and blessed is the fruit of thy loins, Duck. Holy Kenny, Father of Duck, pray for us shitbirds now and in the hour of our bite, amen.

I doubt they'll be doing a 17 year time skip. Honestly, I find it shocking that people can't seem to understand the concept of a character in a series having a dedicated fan base, those were the kind of fandoms I grew up with.
If I were to write it, Clementine would have to die from a) as a sacrifice b) a sacrifice related back to a tragic event we may discover.
In the final moments, I would also add some sort of relation to Clementine's past- perhaps through hallucinations and flashbacks.
I do have some ideas for what specifics could actually happen, and some ideas of cinematic views. And it isn't just some sort of short-term consequence. Maybe I should write them out, and show a completely different story in my vision.

No, I legitimately overlooked that feature. Guess that explains the number next to the reply button.

Like most people,i forget sometimes about her parents.
Now I feel like making an image of Clementine wearing a Superman outfit.
Off-screen. Idiotic. Out of character. You know, casual stuff.

You really think that there is even the remotest chance that on a video game message board that no one would get a flash reference?
I'd nuke her. Any other cause of death would trigger me.
Well, Justice League, but close enough.
Tricky one....
I don't think that they will have much support in the future from the majority if they kill her off...
With a heroic act, and i would probably not show her dying kind of like Kenny's fake out deaths
