I honestly don't get why people care. We have seen cannibals eating the leg of a man in front of him and nobody complained. I honestly don't think having a bit less graphic Gore will reduce the quality of the show much. I do think it's silly that they are suddenly changing this now though. Like everyone else said, it's the fucking zombie apocalypse what do people expect it to be like? Really lame that they are going through with this...but I don't think this is a deal breaker, its still going to be violent, just not as graphic imo.
This too shall pass. Everyone is over reacting. In my opinion. Personally, I think its related to the actress who plays Sasha getting that Star Trek Gig. CBS has some tuff standards and anything that even looks like it might affect that show will be dealt with... Aka Our New lead is best known for her gory death....better replace her. Star Trek is notorious for this kind of cast authoritarian policeing. AMC is most likely just using the complaints as a smoke screen in this case. The ratings won't fall off...everything is fine.
Those people simply shouldn't watch the show then. Same goes to the people complaining about rape in Game of Thrones. It's the world they live in. Are all series and movies supposed to follow the moral we have in our world or what ?
