I don't hate Kenny I just disliked some of his actions:
He killed Larry assuming he was going to turn when there was no evidence that showed that happening
The hostility and racism he showed towards Lee
He was always worried about going to Wellington or getting a boat and never took into consideration too much the safety of the group anytime anyone had an idea or plan he would just shoot it down and berate them.
Exactly!! I have never considered Kenny a racist. I don't think a racist person would marry a woman from Belgium or get romantically involved with an Indian woman and he wouldn't stand being around Lee or Clementine if he was truly a racist. Sure he is outspoken at times like with the urban comment but i have never saw it as being racist. People are too sensitive
When your wife is from Belgium, your girlfriend is Indian, and you have two BFF's who are gay, but one time you called Lee urban so now you're racist for life
A shit character that yet after 5 years is still discussed with love or hate which actually means he isn't a shit character lol. God what a shit opinion of yours but hey never mind
Because Kenny is abusive to everyone, with each moment he snaps I try to make him stop but he hurts Clem in the process and I honestly wante… mored him dead.
I'm glad he could die in S2, and got this shit death in S3, which is fitting for a shit character.
Because telltale made a like or hate Kenny character for the fans. It gave the players who had a bad relationship with him the chance to say that to him

Kenny is a man with strong convictions and can be very hard heading at many points. He is extremely opinionated and can jump to conclusions very quickly. That is why certain people don't like him.
Me on the other hand, loved Kenny. He was extremely loyal and a great friend and a good person to have on your side. Definitely one of the best characters in the series in my opinion. Even at points in Season 2 in which he started to get angry easily, he never once turned against Clem or AJ in anger, only those that he saw as threats against him. Overall, he is definitely a good guy who did bad things to protect his family. Kenny is definitely the best.

Stop being a triggered baby.
Which is what ShitTale no longer do or if they do it lasts for 5 minutes and the character with whomever we have a bad relationship with completely forgets everything. There isn't anything like that between characters in this new game
Just because people talk about him, doesn't invalidate my opinion.
Yes true but your opinion that he's shit is "false" to me which in turn is my opinion.
Stop being a triggered baby.
get that Kenny owed up to the theft in the end, but he still forced her in a position when she could have been in grave danger had she been … morefound out in the first place.
Maybe so, but Clementine and the others would've been in a lot more danger if they hadn't tried making attempts to escape. An opportunity had presented itself with the radio and it would've been just foolish to let it slip. They had to escape and at the time the radio was their best bet to do it . Sure, it was risky, but someone had to do it and Clementine was the least suspicious, considering, Kenny, himself, had already gotten into shit with Troy when doing his own shift.
Nah i'll stay here thanks. You see i can tolerate people not liking his character but it's those extreme haters that push my buttons that say all disgusting things imaginable which i don't agree with. Sure they can say what they like but i am entitled to defend the character and state if i dislike what you say if i want.

Saying you have a shit opinion doesn't mean i am not tolerating that, just that i highly disagree and saying that I think your opinion sucks.
You aren't even that bad to be honest and I don't mean to cause offence. It's just when someone (in this case me) feels strongly enough about something, negative points of view can bother me a lot. I'm sure if there was someone or something you are a big fan of and then hearing constant hate, it would get to you? If not then well done, you are better than me
Nah i'll stay here thanks.

Which is what ShitTale no longer do or if they do it lasts for 5 minutes and the character with whomever we have a bad relationship with completely forgets everything. There isn't anything like that between characters in this new game
Which is why I can't consider a person loyal if they consider or actively abandon another in a perilous situation over a disagreement between the two.
Loyalty is putting aside differences and supporting one and another out of selflessness, not out of convenience. Of course, there are times when being too loyal is doing more harm than good, but then there's offering loyalty only if others are willing to match your needs.
I got no real beef with him. I didn't help him kill Larry and beat his ass on the train, he still left with me to find Clem at the end of episode 4. He's got anger issues, but still backed me when it counted, and only stayed behind when he got trapped trying to save a kid.
I wasn't aware a 7 word comment about Kenny triggers people.
Even people who hate Kenny with all their guts agree he is well written.
I've never seen that said at all actually. Maybe we're both just around different crowds, because a bunch of people I've seen who can think objectively say Kenny is inconsistent and poorly written. That's just my opinion though.
The fact that so many people love him and hate him shows how complex and well handled he is.
No. Not really. Jared Leto's Joker is poorly written, annoying and an objectively bad character in every way, but there are people who love him and hate him. There are a couple more examples, but I'd rather not waste my time writing a long response to someone who said "Dude, what the actual fuck?" immaturely in response to a 7 word comment.
Dude..... I have a whole list
* Abusive
* Blamed everyone but himself
* Accused people of "betrayal" and "not having his back" if you… more didn't side with him ONCE. If you side with him all the time but the one time you don't he freaks
* Murdered Larry (he was alive; you don't instantly die during a heart attack and I should know cuz people can be awake when having a heart attack)
* Wanted to leave Ben for dead (no he didn't deserve it either cuz he was a stupid kid and I honestly might've done the same thing in his position)
* Wanted to murder/did murder Jane (he went crazy, no other word for it)
The list could go on.
He definitely wasn't poorly written. Tripp from A New Frontier is poorly written, while Kenny's complexity gives him a sense of realism I've never seen in any other video game. I don't really see how he's ever been inconsistent either.
Or you can just admit you don't have any arguments to back yourself up?
Oh I do, I always have some sort of argument to back myself up whether it's incorrect or not. It's just that not only am I dealing with intense depression and I hate typing out long paragraphs, but I also feel like this conversation is just gonna become more hostile as it goes on, especially with that rough "What the actual fuck" start.
meaning 'yo, this is insane, are you know what you're on about?'.
That's still immature though??? Like, I stated my opinion and didn't even say it was factual and you jumped on me like "Dude you're wrong you don't know what you're saying". It's pretty dickish. Granted, I could've put more into my argument, but trust me, I've been in more Kenny Vs Jane/Is Kenny Good style arguments than you can count. I'd rather not get into another, so I didn't wanna go into too much detail.
So much you had to resort to insults and trying to take the higher horse?
I'm not taking the higher horse, I'm trying to fucking avoid arguments by trying not to go into detail. I already have enough reasons to commit suicide, a 40 comment argument about why I'm wrong won't help. Christ. Not to mention the only "insult" I really threw out was calling your choice of words immature, which I personally believe is true.
Whatever bro, you're the one making a big deal about this, not me.
"Dude, what the actual fuck?"
P.S. Criticising someone for being immature, yet still using the word 'triggered' in a non-sarcastic way
What made you think the way I said it wasn't sarcastic? It was a passive aggressive joke about your response man.
Dude, what the actual fuck?

while Kenny's complexity gives him a sense of realism I've never seen in any other video game.
So I'm gonna say a few things about this. I understand his complexity as a character and I respect it. Kenny has some real depth. But, complexity doesn't make for a well written character. Alex Shepard from Silent Hill: Homecoming is a complex character, but he's really poorly written for the most part. Also, if Kenny gives you a sense of realism you've never seen in any other video game, I'd like to suggest you a few other games if you don't mind. If Kenny gives you that sense and you like him for that, I think you'd like certain other characters with far more depth and realism than Ken.
I don't really see how he's ever been inconsistent either.
"Aw shit, I'm sorry for doing that really rude thing, Clem... I shouldn't do that. Especially not in front of you or AJ."
proceeds to beat the shit out of a scared russian kid before he even showed signs of doing anything truly evil.

He seems inconsistent to me too, at times. His behavior is so extreme and I don't know if I buy that it was deliberate to try to make him a controversial character. Maybe we're just supposed to chalk it up to him being hit in the head one too many times.

Nah Ruski is just slang for Russian. It's not racist but of course those that hate him will think he was being racist

Considering AJ was a baby, he'd better not. Especially since its what keeps him from being a full out psycho in the first place.
Also, he goes off on Clementine over Sarita's death.
I just think he's poorly written tbh.
Extremely loyal is debatable.
Well Larry's heart attack was pretty damning evidence.
Yes true but your opinion that he's shit is "false" to me which in turn is my opinion.

There are plenty of women that like Kenny.
To be fair, that was also prevalent in Season 2, with Sarah and Bonnie being some of the only exceptions I can think of.
He was extremely loyal and a great friend and a good person to have on your side--as long as you agree with him.
Eh, maybe a little in Season 2, but that's purely in comparison.
Which is why I can't consider a person loyal if they consider or actively abandon another in a perilous situation over a disagreement between the two.

Actually you can totally still get Kenny to voluntarily come with you if you're there for him on everything but dropping Ben.
He definitely wasn't poorly written. Tripp from A New Frontier is poorly written, while Kenny's complexity gives him a sense of realism I've never seen in any other video game. I don't really see how he's ever been inconsistent either.
