There have been no announcements made about anything, and we have all entered into a general malaise of anger and self loathing.
Personally I am of the opinion that the longer they hold back episode 3 the longer it takes for this series to finally become unsalvageable. So I am in no rush. Also I have come to realize that I am terrible terrible person with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
It isn't possible to delay the episode as they never announced a release schedule for episode 3 in the first place, Job tweeted that there would be news in February so i think it's possible that episode 3 could release late February or early March.
My favorite part is Javier rescuing his extended family from his immediate family. Honestly, at this point all I'm really hoping for from the next episode is David cracking him across the jaw again.

Good to hear that you are somehow happy about the huge amount of upset fans and criticism.
There are many issues that need to be addressed and just because you enjoyed it doesn't mean you are entitled to downplay the valid concerns of others.

First of all, no one has been actively searching for things to be mad about in the game. They've been criticising it for very legit reasons. Whether you love this season or not doesn't matter, but there's an undeniable fact that it is in a poorer state when put into comparison to season 1, and even, on some aspects, to season 2.
Secondly, what Job said was complete bullshit. It was just a more pretentious way of him simply saying "your choices don't actually matter, but hey, at least in your heart and mind, they do because we couldn't be bothered putting in the effort to actually make choices have an effect". For a company, which markets it's self around tailoring the game through our apparent choices, to say that is a major fuck you to the fans, in fairness. And for said fans to react with anger is certainty justified.
And lastly, I really can't figure out what you find so ridiculous with how people have been acting. Telltale are continuously decreasing the amount of real effort they put into their games. They've shoehorned a shit ton of action scenes, trying to hide from the real, underlying issues in the game, expecting us to not notice. The writing's not there. The character's aren't either, nor are the choices or story. Everything's been a downgrade from the original. People being angry with Telltale and making sure our voices can be heard, in order to actively combat these problems, is far from "ridiculous". Or do you just expect us to suck it up and pretend that everything's fine? That it's okay that the quality continues to drop quicker than Marianna's dead body? And that the prices remain the same, but the actual content is minuscule to what it once was? If you want to be Telltale's golden boy and keep telling them they're doing good, that's fine, but don't go around trying to paint the rest of us as the bad guys here when we're just being honest.
There's a difference between speaking your mind and lashing out because you don't like the game. You say I'm overreacting but I say it's a l… morearge number of others who are the ones overreacting. People go apeshit over the smallest things and actively search for things to be mad about.
For example Job makes one simple comment saying "Most people don't understand that it's not about what you see on screen but your heart and mind" (I don't remember it word for word) but what so called "fans" heard was "Our fans are just stupid!"
It's absolutely ridiculous the way people have been acting.
What's ridiculous is that because people don't like the game they act like children throwing a tantrum. People that criticize the game are fine, that isn't my issue. It all the bullshit people make up about Telltale that's pissing me off. Things like "I didn't like that and this is why, I think they could've done that a lot better" is fine, what isn't is "Fuck you telltale" or outright lying by saying "Telltale are just lazy" or "Telltale clearly has no respect for their fans." You don't like the game? Fine, you don't have to. You want to express your dislike for it and explain why? That's fine too, not everyone's gonna agree. But the toxicity that these forums have become is outrageous.

Saying Telltale is lazy is a very valid criticism, you can clearly see cut shortcuts to not put as much time and effort into season 3. (Flashbacks are the most obvious corner cuts to put low effort into the game) Also, the vast majority of people talking about how they are mad at Telltale all have a point, it isnt mindless "Fuck you Telltale" like you keep acting like it is. Its not even just the problems of the actual game either. There was already lies of "42 different starting points with different Clem personalities" and how episode 1 was "Too Big." These are just lies, so obviously fans are going to feel disrespected.
And like OneWayNoWay was saying, what do you thnk "What happens on screen doesnt matter, what matters is whats in your heart and mind" suppose to mean? Its something you shouldnt be saying about your own game, because you are literally saying "It doesn't matter what actually happened."

The whole heart and mind thing could've been worded better but it isn't really untrue. The most common criticism telltale gets is saying choices don't matter. In a way you could argue that they don't matter, but Telltale games are more about the experience and how you went through them. Yes, their games almost always have the same outcome but the things you do are different. Look at the Conrad choice. Most people think Conrad's going to die no matter what you do and you could argue that means your choice didn't matter. But the fact is that you either killed a member of your group or betrayed a friend. Even if Conrad dies this will always be true. Or the Larry choice in season 1. Regardless of your choice he'll die, but what you do here does matter. You either held on to hope and did everything you could to save Larry, despite the way he's treated you, or you assumed it was hopeless and killed him to protect the group. That is what I believe Job meant.

I am keeping myself from arguing with others. Let people say and think what they want. They have the right to do so. And I am sure some have the best intention at heart even if they might say it in a wrong and hurtful way.
Still doesn't change the fact that I am still waiting and looking forward to see what happens in the next episode.

Except for choices like killing Larry or not effect your relationship with Kenny.
Lets not forget how season 1 actually had effects on how you treated people, like how if you sided with Kenny 100% he says he will 100% come with Lee and you dont need to convince him. Small things like that dont seem to matter anymore. If a Larry choice happened now, I wouldnt be surprised if it was just barely mentioned. Also helping Larry effects how Lilly talks to Lee too. There is some belief to what you did in the past. For example, Tripp starts all mad and hard ass at us, and then he starts calling us "The Boss." Conrad will definitely die, and probably not do anything significant before he does.
Only walking dead has suffered from this too. Wolf Among Us had a determinate character. He never dies. He wasn't super plot important either, but he appeared, and was still in the story. Unlike how every Walking Dead determinate is now handled. Now once someone is determinate, they will almost never talk or do anything again until they just die. It gets to the point of once you find out a character is determinate, it doesnt even matter anymore because it becomes so predictable that they will be dead.
If Job wants to say "what happens doesnt matter" and in reality its only tailored, then they should start saying "your choices tailor the game" in their promotion, instead of just saying it once you start the game. All of their promotion says "choices matter" yet then when people call them out for it not mattering they say "Well in the game its self it says Tailored." Basically if Job is truly believes what he said, they need to stop saying choices matter and start saying they are "tailored" when it comes to promoting, because you are basically saying "We lied, they dont matter, although we claim they do."

I would like to do that and maybe I will try to keep from arguing with others for a while, but the things I enjoy about these forums seems to be missing. I love discussing and speculating about Telltale's games, but no thread is safe from hate anymore. Threads I used to love are filled with it, the details thread and even the meme and fun thread (honestly calling it fun is a joke now) have turned into hate threads. Even people making their own threads and trying to stay positive have hate sneaked in.

It is unfortunate, but that's how a situation can turn out sometimes when people are really passionate about something and they turn it into overdrive. No other options except to endure and ignore the these kind of posts.
We can only hope that people will calm down eventually.

Anyone else feel like they're in an abusive relationship with Telltale?
We (the fans) are quick to forgive, always looking to fix things, hoping for some sort of reassurance for our valid concerns, coming from a place of love.
Telltale ignores us and lies to us like the typical abuser.
Those comments lmao. All of my play throughs, the she's my family option always got him to come with me though. Even my first when I refused to help him drop the salt lick and fought him on the train.

Imagine what Season 4 would be like, it will have 30 minute episodes, split into 2. KILL ME NOW.
You okay, homie?
What's the episode description?
"Shocking developments drive a wedge between brothers-in-arms."
I think the Episode 4 description sounds a lot more accurate towards rescuing the family though:
"When community is threatened from within, Javier manages unlikely alliances for the safety of his loved ones."

Yup, im all good.
Yeah, why should we expect a good product for the money we gave Telltale...
To some it was a good product. If you didn't like it then thats fine.
We paid the same amount of money for half as much content as season 1. Pretty shady business.
To most it wasn't. Seeing you butthurt in every topic about what's wrong with it makes everyone's day
Good to hear that you are somehow happy about the huge amount of upset fans and criticism.
There are many issues that need to be addressed and just because you enjoyed it doesn't mean you are entitled to downplay the valid concerns of others.
Then why did you complain about people being "butthurt"?
Ah, shit, that's an embarrassing typo...
How would you react if Troy Baker makes a voice-acting for the first time in The Walking Dead franchise?
Even more embarrassing on my part that I only just noticed the typo once I saw your comment point it out.
I think you should watch what I posted above. Even if they are meant to be nitpicks, some of those sins are good points.

3 Characters in one - what is this sorcery!
Why? Why are you happy something is so bad most fans hate it?
I hope AJ is gonna speak with Troy Baker's voice.
