Are they hiding some good surprise for us or we are just wasting time?
What is a good surprise?
Cheap deaths with no condolences?… more Predictable twists?
The main problem right now with this game is that it's not trying to be unique at all (story and choice wise)! Look at S1, it wasn't just about survival it was about raising a girl (with positive influence; that turned out to be pointless) the mysteries, the decent character development, finishing their arc with an appropriate death and choices that bite you in the ass and follow you for the rest of the game, now almost every choice now is about survival and bandits, bandits, bandits... I can't even look at it anymore.

They bringing back everything that you mentioned would be a good surprise, for example.
I don't understand your statement. What are they bringing back what I mentioned?
But they didn't do that in these 2 episodes at all.
Did that candy bar mattered? No, and it was hilarious how it was mentioned at Maris burial. Did S2 endings mattered? Nope. Did those Kate Flashback changed present Kate? Nah she's still gonna jump at Javi. They lost their charm and passion, they don't care about this series anymore .

Just... imagine: let's asume she has time travel powers like Max...she tried to scape from Jeffershit with a photography, like Max did... just that, like Max, her spirit, mind, whatever, goes to her other herself in the picture... but if she wasn't in the picture? Does her spirit just dissapear? Or she Becomes something else? She sends a butterfly to give Max her own powers to save her BFF Chloe in the bathroom, then guide them as a deer, and trying to make them take revenge for her. The tornado visions were a representation of her anger towards Arcadia Bay, and then takes revenge herself, ripping the whole town with a storm. But unless I'm missing something, it doesn't make sense, because Max and Chole DO take revenge in all the timelines (the original one and sacrifice Chole timeline), there is no need to take revenge herself that way, and no explanation why she didn't take revenge on the town for killing her BFF later. She has more reasons to take revenge in the one timeline she doesn't. Thus, my theory is bullshit.
Speaking of michoone, am I the only one that thinks the graphics are an improvement based on season 2? Kinda wished they uped the michoone graphics with the new engine. We probably would've gotten the perfect look for TWD

IKR. But I couldn't save Chloe. What kind of selfish person save a friend and let the entire town die? Sorry if you go with that option, but it doesn't work for me.
According to the games files, the slaughterhouse was located somewhere near the junkyard and 'you' would travel towards it (or away from it, from my perspective). It's possible that after Javier gets knocked out in episode 1 he was supposed to be taken there by Rufus and he would meet Clementine there and they would have to make their way out. That's just conjecture on my part though. The way episode 3 seems to be going however we're probably gonna spend the entire ep in Richmond unfortunately.
Eh, I wouldn't like having Kenny/Jane reappear in my game. The reason I was alone in the first place is because I chose to abandon the survivor, due to me not trusting them anymore. Christa I'd be okay with.
(Also, is your username a reference to Nicolas Flamel, in that book [The Secrets of Nicolas Flamel or smthg like that] in which he has to take care of two cliché chosen-one twins and messes around with scottish and irish gods and takes the name of Nick [or something like that] Fleming?)
I personally didn't see David coming, but there were moments before both of the other scenes that gave them away, especially Tripp talking about how nothing went wrong before Mariana gets shot, that's just obvious set up.
Because for every TWD S1, TWAU or GOT, there is a MC:SM, Batman or Jurassic Park. And for every Starved for Help or Escape Plan Bravo, there is a Ties That Bind Part 1, Amid the Ruins or Guardian of Gotham.
So basically, for every great game, there is a completely awful game. And for every great episode, there is an episode with no effort in it. They haven't made anything good since late 2015, so I have low hopes at this point.
I'd say no.

Mariana's death was kinda predictable, felt like that walk out of the junk yard was building up to something big, because we can't have happy moments. Clem being a member of NF was just something I assumed after the launch trailer, but David was a genuine twist.
Not a good one, but because how in the world does Javiers brother, who we last saw with him in Florida, in another car, while Javier and the group of family members he's still with in the van at the end the start of the current ingame events, just so happen to be the leader of the group he's at odds with, let alone how they both happen to unknowingly be in the same area? That ones gonna need a clear explanation next episode, because that's way too out there if they've been separated since the start and both just so happen to end up in the same region of the same state so far from where they started. And I hope TT does a decent job with it, Davids the only one in that family that interests me lol. But its hard to really be shocked by something like that, since everything we know about him comes from 2 short flashbacks, kinda why its not really a good idea to load brand new characters into an ongoing series and give them so much history between each other the player is unaware of. Even if my jaw didn't drop, I was glad to see he'll start playing a bigger part.

Considering I've gasped about 3 times throughout both episodes. I say they definitely still got it in my opinion. They just need to pace out their episodes more evenly, so that one doesn't go by faster than the other. It's fine to be pessimistic, but 2 episodes from one series really shouldn't be enough to justify if telltale still has it or not. I really do believe episode 3 could be liked by almost everyone.
Despite how some people feel about the way S3 has turned out thus far, I'd say yes.
I mean, for every GoT or Minecraft Story Mode, they h… moreave a Tales From The Borderlands or a Wolf Among Us. For every Amid The Ruins, they have a House Divided.
They seem to periodically have really great series, and then some not-so-great series. Then sometimes they have really good episodes, then some not-so-good episodes. They fluctuate quite a bit, so I wouldn't rule out Telltale having a possible ace up their sleeve for S3.

Exactly. Warren, Kate, Joyce, Alyssa... Good people!
I was thinking about Rachel being the deer, but now that you mentioned the tornado... Makes sense.
They bringing back everything that you mentioned would be a good surprise, for example.
The slaughterhouse looked really interesting with potential to be really dark.
I don't understand your statement. What are they bringing back what I mentioned?

No one's gona like me criticizeing the game like this but i have no other better way to put it, I think it's fucking gay
And the "gay" part is a problem because...?
Damn girl/boy, I like the way you think!
Right?! I can't believe some people actually saved Chloe, it baffled me.
Besides, she would die anyway. No matter how many times you choose to save her, she ended up dead. So... It was her destiny, sadly.
Thank you! Do you have any theory yourself?

So im not the only one who thinks TWAU was one of telltales worst games?
Then you get whoever was left alive or if both died you get Christa
Eh, I wouldn't like having Kenny/Jane reappear in my game. The reason I was alone in the first place is because I chose to abandon the survivor, due to me not trusting them anymore. Christa I'd be okay with.
Sorry, but can you elaborate? What was bad in TWAU?
Oh, no, it was a terrible game!

EVERYTHING
Lol no graphics weren't all that bad.
Not exactly what I meant by "elaborating".
That's Nicolas Flamel's job.
Mariana's death. Clem being a New Frontier member. David. Am I the only one who didn't see that coming??

Hey wait a minute, this is the inverse of my post on the first page
this is plagiarism
PLAGIARISM
I made some other changes, too.

They got lucky, real lucky

No way GoT is the best tt game by far
