So Happy legal drinking age Clementine!!
This year would be her 21st birthday lol, going by the time line...ANF is in 2007.
It does seem weird to think about the WD timeline...hope she makes it to 21 and beyond.

ANF is in 2007?! Does that mean Season 2 was 2005 and Season 1 was 2002?
Holy smokes, do you realize what this means?
Wait, is there an established timeline? Or is this just speculation going by when the comics started?
They're... so not cool?
It's mainly speculation as the year has never been mentioned in either the comic or the game but most people say that outbreak in both the comic and the game start in 2003 as that is the year the comics first released.
Nope, no idea. You're keeping us in suspense, dude
Yes it means your favorite performer Michael Jackson is still alive!!!
I believe it started in 2003 just for the fact that I didn't see any kind of technology like smart phones LED TV screens season 1 ep 1 had old tvs so I think it proves my point
Well, I wouldn't favorite, but that's definitely a plus!
: ' )
[sniff] They grow up so fast...
4 packs a day and a fifth of rotgut a night.
I think Michael Jackson would do all right in a zombie outbreak.
lots of people don't have LED tvs even still today.
To be fair, that may have been a rhetorical question, though I did have something in mind at the time.
TURN DA FUKK UP
Its crazy that the legal drinking age is so damn high in america by that age you can drive, watch and appear in porn, get married, have kids, buy a house, engage in military combat, buy a assault rifle, be executed, ect, ect
Why is the drinking age so damn high
We are a fucked up country.
I dunno. Maybe people just assume a good night out drinking can result in one, or all, of those things happening. Or people just hate fun. These are questions best left to the suits in Washington, I just let my beard grow out and stuck with 6 packs and 40s back then. Bars didn't care if I wasn't sticking around lol
It's probably something to do with the enormous number of deaths America has per year due to drunk driving.
(Information from the CDC ) In 2014, 9,967 people were killed in alcohol-impaired driving crashes, accounting for nearly one-third of all traffic-related deaths in the United States. Of the 1,070 traffic deaths among children ages 0 to 14 years in 2014, 209 (19%) involved an alcohol-impaired driver. Of the 209 child passengers ages 14 and younger who died in alcohol-impaired driving crashes in 2014, over half (116) were riding in the vehicle with the alcohol-impaired driver.
Alcohol, however, isn't the problem. Binge drinking is.
I think it's very wrong and there's no set time at all, because people in Fear The Walking dead have Iphones in the first episode...
AMC Walking Dead is a separate universe.
The main show is based on the comics, Fear the Walking Dead hasn't been set to be passed in the Comics' or the Show's, so you can't guarantee what you're saying, besides, Robert Kirkman is one of the producers, so there is no way to just ignore it regarding something as simple as a time frame.
She already can drink(determinate) at her 11!
And there is actually no rules in Zombie Apocalypse, so Clem can already at her 13: Drink, Smoke, Drive, Have Sex(i'm not a perv or anything this is just the truth), e.t.c.
Heh, well, if we are assuming that Season 1 started in 2003, then Clementine should be 23 in 2017. Since she turned 9 three months into the apocalypse, she would've been born in 1994, making her a year older than me. Of course, that all entirely depends on if 2003 is the actual starting year XD
Huh. The moment you realize Clementine is two years older than you -_-
It's strange to think that Clem is 8 (fucking 8!) years older than you, when everytime I played we were "the same age" (I'm thirteen now, about to turn fourteen, and I was eleven when I first played Season 2, and if holydays didn't make me forget how to fucking calculate stuff, I was 8 when Season 1 came out).
k
NO
Both TV shows take place in a seperate universe than the comic and game plus the shows where made more recently which is why you see things like iPhones, in season 1 of the game we see a store with large CRT TVs and older looking cars which could fit the early to mid 2000s.
There is also no mention of mobile/cell phones which could also fit the early 2000s area or before, Robert Kirkman has never confirmed a year so 2003 is only speculation which seems to fit well.
what
Why NO, there is NO rules in ZA world! Just think more logical!
My logic says fuck that no sex until 30.
Because you have logic of those who live in "today" world, from biology side she is now at her early teens and you do know what does this mean right? (Puberty, Hormones e.t.c.), and in ZA world there is no parents who could say her that you shouldn't do that until you 18, So...
...Why do I get the feeling that there were people waiting for her to be 21?
If Telltale make Clem get f**k,Im gonna play season 1 only...Want to see Lee face...
The real question is with who?
Gabe?
Who? Cause its not Jane or Bonnie.
Telltale's apocalypse started on the 21st July, 2003. Lee likely found her either on day one or two. The entirety of the episode was two days. Episode two is set three months later, and over the span of a day. Episode three is set two weeks later, and when Christa and Omid show up Clem tells Christa she is eight.
BUT...
Two days later, The Stranger tells you that Clem had turned nine six days prior, so four days before Clem met Christa.
All of this means that Clem was born in October 1994, and, assuming either The Stranger or Clem are telling the truth and the time gaps are exact, it is possible to work out a birthday for her.
Just a bit of trivia there. Additionally , if somebody can be bothered to do further calculations, once again assuming the time jumps are exact, it is possible to work out when each of the episodes throughout the whole series are set.
I'll do Season Two:
The whole season covers a span of three weeks, sans Omid's death. Since the later half of the episode is set in wintery conditions, it is safe to say the main game begins in November, and ends in December.
Omid's death was sixteen months prior, so what, June 2004? That means that the gap between his and Lee's deaths is about eight months.
And finally, if Telltale is trying to get the games up to date with the comics, Clem's going to live a long time.
Hopefully this is useful for anyone interested.

It's the apocalypse. There is no law about drinking anymore. :P
