He need a "redemption" first. He's not as bad as people say he is, he tries to grow up, but is just pissed at the world for everything anyon… moree can be pissed at the world. If he has some kind of "redemption", like a deep talk about the meaning of growing up and if good and evil are actually as different as everyone says, or him being right when everyone else is wrong would work. But I'm still not sure about them dating.
Agreed. There are plenty of zombie games striving to look as realistic as possible, I liked that the first two seasons had absolutely no qualms trying to present itself as a comic in motion.
I also think that the comic look makes it more immersive in a way, when games try to look realistic, I tend to notice way more often when something looks bad or out of place, but when it has that cartoony artstyle, I dont notice it nearly as much.
Im also not a big fan of games that try to just look as realistic as possible, since, if I wanted to see realistic, I could just look out the window, obviously its nice when it has good graphics, but I still like something like Witcher 3 more, where its made to look pretty realistic, but its still way more colorful and vibrant than most things in the real world

I also think that the fact that Clem was in our hands in season 2 makes it kinda silly, it would feel really wrong to have her fall in love or even start a relationship with someone without any input from the player, since the player has literally chosen who Clem is (to a rather large degree), and then suddenly have that control wrested away, we decided who to trust in season 2, we decided what to teach Clem in season 1, it would be weird to have her just fall in love on her own, if its totally out of place for the character we have "created" for her
I'm not bothered about a relationship between the two but if it goes any further than a peck on the cheek then I'm turning into the daughter's over protective dad
Yeah, I don't know what the heck was up with that beyond possibly the poster being depressed. You can probably find it if you check the late January and early February threads.
Yeah, one of the things I like about Ava is that her design and color scheme, as obviously evil as it make be, makes her pop a bit in an otherwise dingy looking game. Similar thing with Max and Eleanor.

Maybe? I know we've gotta be PC because everyone's kind of a bunch of pussies these days, but my sister got much more leeway growing up than I did, I was expected to man up in certain situations from a young age, and I don't really expect any different from a kid who has his own baby sister to look after. Gabe comes off as a normal spoiled kid instead of one who's been struggling to survive with what's left of his family, and doesn't have himself in check at all.
I actually never really thought about that, but I thought it would be too obvious to make Ava a villain and kinda hoped she'd be part of ANF who doesn't approve of the shoot children in the head at a junkyard faction lol

I have no objections to Clem finding someone to care for, as she's cared for so many already simply not in a romantic sense. This is the first season that Clem has been off-standish, and it's not been a fun journey thus far. What I do object to is that she would be romantically involved with Gabe this season. It would be far better to focus on developing them as individuals with as short as the episodes we're given are, to properly address Clem's trust issues, and Gabe's emotional journey.
For Gabe, this could go a long way toward perhaps gaining more of the audience. He shouldn't recover quickly over the grief of watching his baby sister be gunned down in front of him, and how helpless that made him feel. We should be able to explore the anxiety of having Kate critically injured, and his thoughts of being left virtually alone in the world only to be reunited with a father that's now a stranger to him four years after they'd been separated. To have his character reduced to - the first girl I've met around my age that's not related to me is cute, is somewhat insulting to what his growth could be.
In what little time we're given for the season, I think we have enough romantic possibilities that will have to be addressed ( looking at you, Eleanor/Kate/Javi, and perhaps having to tangle with a brotherly love triangle ). To make for a good story, a Clem/Gabe romance would be tacked on, and could sacrifice the narrative.

I'd think/hope not either. Time will tell and I've got fingers crossed due to ...intuition, but I honestly think it be for the best if she was a little bit of both for the sake of adding some more moral complexity to the cast beyond Conrad, Max, and hopefully David.

if TellTale makes that romantic interest player determinant it would be BETTER!
They probably will, considering that not everyone would agree with them being together. I can imagine Clementine asking Javi about this and the dialogue options being "Stay away from Gabe (or something to that effect)," "Just be his friend," or "Give him a chance."
I don't think Gabe will be good with Clem because she has been through more on her own then Gabe! Also Clem isn't really a loner remember sh… moree was with The New Frontier! She is shown to not trust people from other groups and if TellTale makes that romantic interest player determinant it would be BETTER! Because we were Clementine we should be able to determine her relationship with Gabe!

Conrad was kinda shit, but David and Ava I have high hopes for, there's a lot of potential in their characters considering we know very little about Ava, and all we know about David is he's a traumatized military vet. Ava was still very friendly in her introduction, and David might have been less so but we see that despite his feelings he let his brother live with him as he got his life back on track.

Conrad primarily suffered from having the choice he presented waaay biased against him-Nuff said. As I brought up in the details thread, his motivations and actions more or less line up with Kenny's in the Arvo Hostage situation excepted inverted, particularly in an alternative telling where the Russian Group were survivors based in the city the Howe's Ski Cabin Group was heading towards.
Ava was still very friendly in her introduction
Exactly. Though her design, the music, and even AJ himself seemed to suggest that there's something not on the up-n-up above Ava herself, it's very possible that this was meant to allude to the danger of the New Frontier itself and Ava, while still a member of the group, can and most hopefully will still be very chummy with Clementine in her possible return. I'm hoping .
Though, Ms. Hutchinson's mention that there was a Carver-type character involved in some of the [currently] unused recordings makes me wonder(and in this case, doubly dread) who she was referring to.
David might have been less so but we see that despite his feelings he let his brother live with him as he got his life back on track.
There's the slight nuance in his reaction to Javier determinantly telling him that Kate's gonna leave him.

Well, I saw the reaction and Javier just couldn't shut his whore mouth during my second play through, didn't really care on my first so I defaulted to ... Or anything that avoided him speaking.

On lil javi staying with him, that's not a slight nuance, incompetent Javi outright states he's only gonna be there until he gets his life on track, that's way before David enters the scene.

I feel like she'd punch him if he tried anything too soon, but at the same time if she was actually interested I feel like she wouldn't necessarily shy away from it anymore. Honestly, I'm not expecting anything out of these two. As of right now, definitely not. They've got bigger fish to fry.
Clem being with gabe or having feelings for him would be twilight level cringe. It would be biased. and pandering to stereotypes. Imo and here's why I believe that.
1: Gabe lives.
2: Mariana doesn't.
3: Gabe's character gets to further develope.
4: Same can't be said for mariana.
5: Gabe has plot protection.
Mariana didn't.
6: Gabe gets to meet and interact with clem.
7: Mariana never has that opportunity.
8: you could save gabe when he's held hostage. Mariana got off'd in a scene. She never had a chance to be saved.
They off'd mariana because she was more liked and her potentially being a love interest for clem would mean gabe's chances would've been slim to none. Because more people would've shipped mariana and clem.
And if telltale is going with the cliche, stereotypical romance route with clem and it was forced as in you had no say in the matter then they would've had to made clem be with mariana as that would've been the most popular choice.
I hope they don't dare to go the romance route and if they do I would expect telltale to give you the option to shut it down. Clem is best solo. Just my two cents.
Also just the fact that she is 13, why the hell does everybody think she needs to fall in love with someone so early in her life? and its the god damn apocalypse, falling in love has never ended up well for anyone, and I would think that Clem knows this, considering she spent time with Kenny and Christa and Omid

Why would people want Clem to be lesbian? I sure as hell wouldn't. Clem beign with Gabe wouldn't be a stereotype , but it would be NORMAL. Love is meant to be heterosexual( that's just my opinion, don't kill me for it).

I don't think Telltale would make her a lesbian anyway, mostly because it would be a RIP off of The Last of Us. The simple fact that they kept Gabe alive, suggests to me that Telltale has plans for him to potentially undergo an arc.

Eh, I doubt they'll kiss and I doubt she'll let Gabe TOO close. Depending on her personality (how people made her out to be) of course. He might flirt with her or something, but I doubt they'd make them kiss.
If they do, the fandom will literally kill themselves. They already disliked Gabe from the start, but as soon as he was seen with Clem, the entire fandom was like,

It does seem like there is gonna be some things happening with Gabe, but to me personally, it would be a waste of time to spend time on a Clem love story, first, we already have the Kate/Javier/Eleanor thing going on, secondly, Clem is only 13, I dont get why people want her to fall in love so bad when she has only just become a teenager

Go away and get bitten, Gabe. Even Sarah was more likeable then you.

There's an edit button.
I meant to the word also, but I do remember that regardless. Also, I imagine you don't like Javi very much?
I think those were meant to be separate responses. But I don't edit, bro. I AMEND.

Aside from Clem's of course; going from helpless (pretty much), to sort of a badass, to a REAL BADASS.
That's a long running one from across multiple games including the beloved original, though. I'm talking about in the context of ANF alone.
Implying that Sarah wasn't likable on some level.
