Honestly, I could picture Clementine killing Gabe. She's gonna have to do more things to make siding with her an actual choice, if Telltale chooses to go that route again.
True enough; I've read enough Sonic Comic's to know the cover doesn't always describe what's gonna happen. I notice he was on Episode 2's instead of the more appropriate Nick, so that might just be a marketing thing in that instance.
Still, and I know it's what everyone says, but I'm now almost completely sure he was gonna determinately get killed by Kenny at the end.
It would fullfill ´´transforming from pussy to survivor cliche´
So by THAT logic, your saying you'd rather have had CLEMENTINE remain helpless throughout the series? You do remember that she started out being helpless herself right?
I'd prefer Javi and Clem, if only two can survive. Their dynamic has some really interesting potential in my opinion. But personally I have enough of lone survivors, a big group that isn't killed off every chance would offer lots of potential for development, be it any kind of relationship or conflict. That's why my favorite survivor-group would look like this:
Clementine
AJ
Javi
Jesus
Eleanor
Tripp
Ava
Michonne (temporarely at least?)
Glenn (videogame is it's own universe, so no problem)
I don't think Clem would even do that so early anyway, especially after what happened with Jane.
A simple relationship is one thing. Just getting laid out of the blue is quite another. Just putting that out there.
Please no, the only survivor trope is too previsible and cheap at this point, let us keep some people alive instead of killing them, new season, new characters, killing them, and so on. Also, I hope Gabe will have development instead of staying an angsty teen for the rest of the season.
I mean that she was the most interesting character, but that isnt saying much so far, considering most of the main cast like Kate and Gabe are pretty unlikeable to me, I was interested in getting to know Mariana, she was way more down to earth than any other character in this season, and would have been a way better friend for Clementine to have.
But instead she gets killed after having like, 3 lines of dialogue, just for the shock factor, (which wasnt very shocking, or emotional, since we barely had any time to get attached to her)
I thought you meant that you didnt want Clementine to survive,
Well, considering how she's been acting so far, along with certain li… morettle subtleties...
Mariana (who never really got a chance to get any real development)
Let me ask you this: What do you mean when you say development?

I hope they don't kill Javier since it'd make ANF essentially pointless. Most likely clementine,Javier and AJ with some survivors will most likely be left. I think Gabe may have a "Ben" type of fate.
They really should've just had clem as the mc and have her meet rick and crew. I would've preferred that instead what telltale is giving everyone now with the new frontier.
Thing is though, they'd have to line that up with the comic universe, which has already been established up to this point in the game. Maybe they could do it if Kirkman was willing to introduce Clementine in the main story eventually, but I dunno.
With the reactions we've seen around the Web, I don't know if this series is gonna have enough mileage to last that long. It'd definitely be cool to see, though!

I think it could be an interesting concept, if they have both Javier and Clem survive, (and preferably a few others), and then create a season 4 where they do the switcheroo againm, and have Clem the main character, that way we can get some more insight into Javier, since part of my problem this season, is how much backstory Javier has in comparison to what Clem and Lee had at their introduction, as well as the fact that he has people he know from before still alive, yet I know nothing of his character, since I havent seen it except through my own eyes, Lee was a fresh slate, therefore he could be whatever we wanted, and Clem we knew by the time season 2 rolled around, but Javier just feels like a bland stranger to me

Well, I wouldn't say that it's FULLY established. From what I gathered, the Telltale Story line is actually AHEAD of what's going on in AMC currently. Skybound DID in fact confirm that what's happening in the Telltale Story line IS in fact aligned with the comics SUPPOSEDLY taking place during a time-skip between Issues, just stopping short of CONFIRMING or RULING OUT the possibility of making CLEMENTINE's story canon. One thing IS clear, though. IF (And this is a HUGE IF) THEY DID, then I'm FAIRLY CERTAIN that those of us out there, INCLUDING MYSELF, who never fully got into the show on AMC, BUT LOVE THE TELLTALE GAMES, may very well be SOLD on the show IN A HEARTBEAT.

If they ever actually decided to put Clem in the show, they could possibly get away with it there, since they've changed up parts of the comic story dozens of times already. It'd be pretty cool for those of us who played the game, especially since we'd already know more about her than a big majority of the people currently watching it, hehe. I still don't know who they'd put in to act as her, though
Personally though, as much as I'd love to see Clem get some more of the spotlight, the one thing I'd be concerned about is our choices - they'd have to end up being linear if they were ever going to introduce her. Either that, or they'd have to leave her background a complete mystery, with maybe a touch on Lee at the most. Because personally, in most of my endings for season 2, I ended up with Jane, and somehow I doubt very much that she'd ever get brought up in a conversation or something. Possibly Kenny, but then you run into the same problem.
If they were to give her just a brief rundown of some of the things that happened - meeting Lee, looking for her parents, taking care of AJ - then that would probably be the most I'd see us getting.
One thing's for sure though, seeing Clementine interact with some of the main characters would probably give me a heart attack

Who says Telltale's Glenn is the same Glenn as in the tv-show or the comics (did he die there too?)? As far as I know, the videogame takes place in its own universe. You are right about Jesus, but what if they all end up in a situation where he can't return to Hilltop for a certain amount of time?
After all, it's just my personal preference anyway. I know that it won't happen ^-^
Yes. Clementine and Gabe will be the survivors at the end of the season. But dont worry, Telltale will kill Gabe off at the very beginning of Season 4.

So, what can possibly happen.. ? Something crazy..
Things I wonder (also about upcoming seasons):
How long will AJ make it? (I can imagine him being killed in S3)
Will there be determinant kills (during Ep. 3) or will it be a slaughter or just a few victims ?
Will we get to see Walker Kenny?
Will they meet someone from the TV series? (they could actually easily meet Morgan or just see the group from far away or some other chars not from Rick's group)
Which chars will return? (Glenn, Lilly, a St. John, Christa, etc etc?)
What happened while Clem was part of the NF?
Isn't a bat a bad choice of a weapon, if there is already Negan with Lucille? Like what where they thinking? "Lucille...cool...bat...baseball...We have a new char!..."
I agree that Clem deserves to get more attention since she is my all time favorite character , but I cant imagine her without voice of Mellisa Hutchison. Damn, actress that would play Clem actually doesnt exist. She is unique.

We also have to consider the fact that he's only been with Javi & co for all this time, rather shielded from the horrors out there; Clem seems much more grown-up because she had to mature faster to face this new sad and violent world. What Gabe needed was a shock aka Marianna's (and possibly soon to be Kate's) demise to evolve his character, in which direction though we don't know. I believe a chunk of this season will be dedicated to Gabe's changes, more precisely if he becomes more like David or Javi depedending on your choices.
Job said, he cried during Ep. 3, right?

edit: idk why this has a spoiler tag
Yeah maybe. Also Luke was in the posters and he was dead by the end also. Part of the reason, I don't trust posters.

So by your logic, if she got laid it would make her happy? Wtf? At age of 13? No sir!

Its like Telltale intentionally kills the likable side characters (Marianne/Pete) and forces you to get along with idiots (Gabe/Nick).

Probably we'll have to wait and see on 28th march which is real soon (not too far at all).
kinda true.
Can't wait for his new model and sudden death in season 4.
At this point of the story Glenn alredy met Lucille, and Jesus probably won't stay with the group since he has to return to the Hilltop.
Most realist ending being those 3
Calling it now: Beanie boy will be killed by AJ in episode 3.

oh crap i forgot michonne (she's a beast)
space
Space as well
Its just kinda silly if he starts changing now though, he has been in the apocalypse for 4 years, and still acts like its an argument at family dinner

Naw, Gabriel is gonna die. Clementine MIGHT, considering this is now Javier's story, but I guess we'll see.

true
It is confirmed by Telltale and Robert himself that the comic and the game take place in the same universe.

Morgan in the comics is dead at this point, and so is Glenn
