  • Pretty dumb complaint baseball bats are pretty common in zombie themed games/movies/shows.

Okay, so because Negan used the baseball bat in the tv-show, Clem and Javi need to use it as a major weapon as well? That's lame in my book. Telltale should do their own thing instead of jumping on existing "TWD hype trains".

  • For some reason i like Tripp more. Even though he got absolutely rekt by Ava in the trailer

  • Yeah, having gotten my fill of the leaks, I will say that it fixes a few issues with the characters.

  • Even though it's gonna be around the same length as the other eps, the more I see about the new ep the more im hyped

  • He did!?

I thought Eleanor was his daughter or something...

Tripp isn't gay. He dated Eleanor.

  • Plot twist. Conrad and Clem are the only survivors this season

It would also be funny for Conrad to end up mattering more than Carley or Doug, who had so much more potential... I can see if he does survive this then he will definitely get very few scenes of development. Look what happened to Nick!

  • Not really, it actually adds to my point. It's boring if it appears in almost every zombie-themed media. Is it too hard to come up with something that hasn't been done thousand times before?

  • True. It fits Javi's backstory, but we all know the main reason why they add the baseball bat.

Hey, I am here to be the obligatory "the Comics done it first" guy just because I actually like Negan in the Comics much more than his Show

Honestly, zombies have been done so much in so many different ways that being original is very difficult now. Not to mention that TWD tries to be as realistic as possible and so it makes sense that the guy proficient with bats would utilise those skills against the enemies.

If you want awesome weapons then play through all the Dead Rising games. Fantastic weapon designs and multiple ways to kill the undead there.

  • Not worth it if the determinant character is such a disgusting person. I don't regret the decision of shooting him the slightest, would do it again.

Watch Telltale finally make a determinant matter but only ~10% of players spared him.

  • I'd like to think it is his origin, but I don't doubt that Lucille Lover 9000 had an influence on it all.

  • I feel awful for him at the same time as enjoying putting him down. He lost his home and his wife in such a short period of time that he no doubt was deeply traumatised by it.

None of what happened gave him the right to risk the life of two young children, however, as he wanted to hand over Clem as a hostage to the people she escaped from who could try and hurt her and he also threatened Javi's nephew. That sh*t doesn't fly!

  • It comes from the fact that Tripp looks kinda old and was very protective of Eleanor

It would explain why Tripp is so quick to trust him and go along with whatever Javi says.

My God, I can already hear the fanfics that are being typed.

He might be gay for Javi

  • Telltale kinda shot themselves in the foot by giving us the choice to either sell Clementine out or kill Conrad for holding Gabe hostage, since the vast majority is not going to be able to see Conrad's scenes in Episode 3 if we are to agree with the plan to take Clementine hostage.

What makes it worse is the lack of rewind feature, which is going to put off a few players from going back to the choice to see what happens if Conrad is alive.

Watch Telltale finally make a determinant matter but only ~10% of players spared him.

  • Oh, no. Please, worst ship ever.

  • Elton John was married to a woman.

Tripp isn't gay. He dated Eleanor.

  • Actually, I think it was an ingenious choice on their part for making the player's...choice matter: You either continue to put Clementine on a pedestal by making the bad choice and suffer for it or you do the more pragmatic thing by making the good choice and get rewarded with more screentime for her and Conrad.

Though the lack of a rewind feature is a downgrade.

  • They supposedly took the rewind feature away because they're data showed very few people utilized it. I do like how it seems telltale is trying to make different choices and gameplay change how your story plays out.

  • How the fuck does the data keep track of that anyway? What, are they creepers who know where you live or something?

  • Clem s first Walker kill without using a Gun was with a Bat too. And i think that Clem killing those walkers in the trailer That was a trownback to that moment in episode 5 of season 1.

  • From what I understand is that telltale can view data of nearly everything a player does In a game from choices, features, etc.

While this sounds excellent and ingenious on paper, the execution isn't brilliant considering Telltale's track-record on linear storylines and how well they camouflage the choice system mattering or not.

The fact that the vast majority will likely not know the scenes in Episode 3 with Conrad and Clementine exists unless they replay without the rewind feature, or look it up on YouTube, is also another example of why the Conrad vs Clementine was executed poorly.

  • WHAT HOW DARE JAVIER USE A BASEBALL BAT NEGAN USED IT ONCE SO NO ONE ELSE IS ALLOWED TO USE BASEBALL BATS!
