"Biggest season so far" hahahaha
before the release of twd season 3 we were told it's going to be the biggest season out of all 3, but so far the first 3 episodes have been as long as 1 and a half episodes of season 1, biggest my ass.

I played all three back to back, it took about 5 or 6 hours, I think.
45 minutes 45 minutes 90 minutes, It's only 3 hours so far.
No it didn't.
oh, I'm an idiot. I forgot to count the downloading of ep 2 and 3. So you can probably knock an hour off that.
if you're rushing through the game sure
Nice profile picture
What do you mean rush? There's only couple of hubs with almost no dialogue, besides that there's only the speed the game delivers itself.
Hell, I dunno. It just seemed a decent length. I guess it is more of a movie than a game now, but if you can get past that you might enjoy it. It's not much shorter than season 2, at any rate.
Hah, thanks. It is nice.
I don't know if Kenny saw it that way, though.
IT seems to me that if the game is five episodes, and they broke the first episode into two, they still owe us another episode.
Dat ass
Call me a noob but episode 1 and 2 took me 1 and a half hours to complete the 1st time and episode 3 took 2 hours XD
What if Telltale wasn't talking about the actual length of this season? I think with "biggest season", Telltale was referring to the story's impact on the ingame world itself.
In Season One, we had only a few survivors and their struggle against the undead, a few other survivors and each other.
In Season Two, we had another small group of survivors and their struggle against the undead, Carver's crew and Kenny vs. Jane.
In Season Three now, we have this huge faction, "New Frontier", that is a much bigger threat than anything before. They are a danger to multiple big settlements. Wellington, Richmond.. even the Kingdom. You can kinda compare them with the Saviors in terms of manpower and influence.
can't really argue with that. Episode two was short.
The last two episodes shall be 3 hours each!
you're a noob
Why are you defending them after all the things they have done to TWD fans? They don't need defending anymore with all the lies we have gotten pre-release and how they have been treating TWD fans everywhere (and how they thought ANF was a worthy "sequel" or a worthy "TWD game").
Nah, in the final episode Javier will wake up from a dream and remember his dad is dying. Then episode 1 starts again.
Can't beat infinity when you're talking about big.
Episode 1 and 2 didn't really give a lot of time for character development and if so it wasn't done in great manner. The story is simply way too short. You could combine EP1 and EP2 into single Season 1 episode and it'd STILL be shorter. Whoever said it is the 'biggest season so far' looks like their exceptions are far ahead of their realistic goals.
For the record, it took me around 55 minutes to finish EP1 and about an hour to finish EP2. In comparison, S1 EP2 took me around two hours and thirty minutes. If you give enough time, you can just look of how much a god damn master-piece that episode was.
I'm not "defending". I give credit where it's due.
Season Three isn't that bad. Sure, I'm not as happy with it as I would like to be, but overall it is okay. Although it's definitely an improvement in terms of characters, when compared with Season Two and the Michonne-spinoff.
Javier, Kate, Mariana, Eleanor, Tripp, Jesus, Ava, Dr. Lingard. I really like them.. while in Season Two, there were only unlikable idiots around, except for Kenny and Clem (they don't really count since they were from Season One) and Luke, who didn't make it. It's also interesting that the story gets "bigger" with the New Frontier.
You can continue to see Telltale as the big evil. Not my cup of tea. But I think it is more fair to appreciate the good things.. without dismissing the flaws.
You must have gone for a shit or cup of tea if it took you that long to complete
Yeah that's what Telltale do now, lie. They shit on our heads and do not give an iota fuck about the fans especially those pre 2012-13.
"Season" was a misspelling of "failure"
"A new fuck-up"
No pauses or anything. I think people just rush through it, because I have to click on everything I see in the hubs
You must take a lot of breaks while playing this.
Sorry if I sound rude but how come Episode 3 took you 2 hours if there isn't a single hub in it?
You know what... I don't even know. I think that was the exception because I made a few choices I didn't like so I kept going to the menu and restarting the checkpoint
More like "season" => "disappointment"
we should accept season 3 for what it is.. it is clear that nothing we want will happen and i'm way past my 5 stages of grief..
all 1hr long for me. I started today at 8pm, and finished at 11pm.
Shit episodes, and short episodes. Damn. Nothing we want will ever happen anyway... sigh.
Pathetic isn't it? Especially when you compare this to Season 1
Perhaps it was supposed to be the biggest season.
Perhaps the first two episodes was supposed to be episode one.
Perhaps Telltale divided the first episode into 2 episodes and rewrote the whole season because of financial issues?
Not perhaps, thats exactely what happened...
I think the original concept might have been great with David as the terrible villain. Now they rewrote and made up old Asian lady Joan.
Been playing through S3 5 times now, and every time each ep takes about 90 mins to complete. Which is ecxactly the same as S2 episodes
How did you manage to make episode 2 last that long?
Spend 30 minutes in the hub area watching Conrad kick the trashcan
I had a really bad feeling with the Michonne series that this was going to turn into a trend and sure enough. Their approach to having so many titles is OBVIOUSLY to just shorten everything and try and squeeze as much money out of us as they can. Who cares about quality when you could just do that right? It's a "business" after all...smh.
Everyone was like er muh gurd its a mini series of course it will be short. That didn't mean the episodes themselves had to be the shortest in the entire WD series and probably TTG in general.
Back in season 1 I sometimes didn't finish the episodes in one go.
