Since I don't dislike one more than the other, I'll just list my main issues with both, since I actually enjoy both games. (Please don't stone me to death for having this opinion, but if you can't resist the urge, I understand)
My main issue with Season 2 was how incompetent most of the survivors were. I understand that this series, some bullshit their way through X amount of years and everything, but people like Nick belong in Fear The Walking Dead...'cause they should not be alive right now...these type of characters should have died in the first 10 days. I wish he could have had the chance to redeem himself, because not doing so made him the arguably most stupid Walking Dead character in it's entire 14 year history. Sure, there were some smart characters, but Season 2 gave off this "We are REALLY stupid and shouldn't be alive right now" vibe a lot of the time.
One of my biggest problems with A New Frontier was actually the marketing. The marketing and advertising to this game was garbage. Repeat after me:
The marketing.And advertising.To this game.Was.GARBAGE.
I actually like Javier Garcia as a protagonist so far. But here's the thing: Most others don't. So when they tried to showcase him and everything when advertising for this game, I think they were totally unaware that no one collectively GIVES a flying fuck about Javier. We haven't survived the last 5 years with Javier. Javier wasn't at the motel in Macon, or The Marsh House in Savannah, or Howe's, or The Ski Lodge, or anywhere else. Clementine was. If they had put Clementine on that pedestal, the game would have sold a bit more IMO. Seriously, a run-of-the-mill high school marketing class could have sorted this shit out better.
True. I think that things like safety and life itself are meaningless if you can't share them with the people you love and care about. So of course I would stay with Kenny, no matter what.
Yes there is a chance Kenny would still alive if you chose Wellington, but I wouldn't care anymore. This will make a different Clementine. 2… more years in a settlement without Kenny.
Perhaps this is the wisest decision for Clem's and AJ's life development, but I still like the Kenny's ending most. Kenny was like real loyal family.
Both season 2 and ANF have the same problem with the lack of moving the playable character around. I desperately wanted a decent hub in episode 3 of Season 2 but we never got one.

I never thought i'd say this but Season 2 was a godsend compared to S3. Like way better, even though i didn't love S2, it is still a million times better than this shit

I honestly don't know if that's really a bad thing in and of itself, to be honest
Monk bro, everyone thinks this, expect the new gens who haven't play S2, smh.
Season 2 is okay and ANF is acceptable
But Season 1 is the only wd game that I can play and always be memorized
Season 2 kept me on my toes! (at least first 2 episodes) Kenny made everything better for me

Yeah episode 3 is where season 2 derailed, how they implemented the 400 days survivors was just laughable aswell.
