The time skip in the comics is like two years, they would have no reason to mention it if it was an insignificant issue. It's likely that they resolved it relatively soon after All Out War so they had time to recover and forget about it.

I doubt Telltale would put Jesus of all people in a over-glorified cameo without… more paying it off. The 'you have my word' line solidified that for me. I think a civil war is going to break among the New Frontier and at the end, maybe when Javier is about to be executed we get the Alexandria-Kingdom-Hilltop alliance just coming in. It be pretty awesome actually. Javier becomes new leader after David (presumably) dies, yada yada yada roll credits.

But in ANF, Jesus says that the new frontier raided the kingdom, and you know they kill everyone there. So this means that the kingdom is now new frontier, so if the new frontier aren't in the comics, and they are in the same universe, that means that the events of a new frontier are AFTER the events from the comics.
