Gabe has always been a little prick. He just upped his prickness a few notches in this episode. (Is prickness even a word? Fuck it. For the sake of this thread, I'm making it a word.)
I couldn't believe it when he said that. I wasn't even rude about the stabbing incident either. "YEAAAAA GOO TEAMMMM I HAVE IDEAS". I was like "whoa stfu i make the decisions."
In my next playthrough it was even worse when he told everyone about Conrad.
ALSO did Javi fucking meet Morgan from the TV show...? All life is precious apparently.
Fuck that turd! I can't believe I liked the little shit. After selling me down the river to Tripp and El me and him are done. He ain't getting anything from me and if he thinks he is getting anywhere near Clementine he has another thing coming. Cold shoulder from now on Gabe, you little brat.
I think he became a great character in episode 4. And to me, everything he did is understandable and justifiable.
Also, he makes Clem happy, so that means something... Right? I haven't seen her smile that much in one episode since... Uhh... About episode one of season one.
I'm just gonna say this; I like Gabe.

Well, to be honest. Shooting him was a bit extreme.
I'm glad that scene happened, I loved it. I killed someone, and so I'm gonna have to pay for that.
This episode did a really good job at making the choices feel so important.
I'd actually be a little concerned about Telltale's priorities if they didn't go this route with Gabe in the finale after the treatment Sarah had in Amid the Ruins, and especially after how insufferable he had acted in Thicker than Water.
I know he's meant to be Javier's nephew and we're meant to tolerate him because he's family, but that's not a good enough justification for how he's behaving lately, and certainly not enough of an excuse to expect the audience to care about him either.
Telltale killed Sarah and Mariana in cold blood and they try to force my Clementine to be Gabe's girlfriend. He is the first kid that I'm going to let die.
David was okay but I feel ive literally sided with him every time so far. Ive seen clips of choosing others and he seems just as annoying if you let him. For example he seems to be pissy if you choose tripp over Ava
Ava was....okay? I mean nothing really memorable about her.

That's why I tried to save Ada. She was David's right hand and Tripp was too pissed at me to keep him alive, thanks to that shitbird, Gabe. Also, I loved the hug between brothers.
Ava was....okay? I mean nothing really memorable about her.
It is. She gave Clementine supplies and some advice how to survive.

Javi and Clem have been fine
People keep saying this but I just can't get behind it. Mari was likeable but that's really all she was. If Telltale kept her around it would've only been for likeability. Gabe is more interesting from a storytelling perspective.

Well people these days want anyone to die who isn't basically their cheerleader so that doesn't surprise me. "You don't be obedient and support my every decision? I hope you die" that's basically how a lot of fans are now.
I did EVERYTHING for Gabe to stay alive and assure him to become useful for the group and this is how he repays me, throwing me under the bus, that's NOT how you become a man. Also, his romance with Clementine is cringey as fuck.

What's cringey is the attitude a great number of people on this forum has. The second a character does something they don't like they go apeshit and wish death on them.

I don't agree with it but I understand it. I personally feel Javi should've confessed what happened ages ago. As for Gabe telling Javi to shoot Conrad, I think that can easily be explained as a kid thinking he was going to die. And before you use it as a point, I'm fully aware that Gabe gets mad at you if you accept Conrad's plan but I believe that was more about betraying Clementine than not killing Conrad.
That's what I'm even saying. He judges my choice with Conrad no matter what. If he wanted me to kill him, then why selling me out like that? If he didn't want me to shoot him, then why did he fucking call me a coward for not shooting a human being?

Conrad is alive in my playthrough so I didn't have problems with Gabe. But I saw what happens if you kill Conrad and I agree that it's unfair for Gabe to throw you under the bus like that, after everything you did for him. I find it hypocritical that he blames YOU when HE is the one who wanted Conrad to die.

I didn't like Gabe at all since the first episode. I legit just kept thinking to myself, "I hope you die" over and over again. He just ratted me out about killing Conrad to Tripp and now he hates me. Gabe gets angry and keeps complaining and can never shut his mouth. Every single time Gabe started getting angry I just kept thinking that I hope Clem saw this side of him because he's such a whiny little shit and she deserves better. Gabe is trying to get close to Clementine and I don't like it. I like Clem being happy but her and Gabe? Please Telltale, don't do it!

"It happened, would you just get over it?!"

Ratting out someone who did what they did to literally save his life just because he got told no? ? Nah. Not acceptable.
Well, to be honest. Shooting him was a bit extreme.

Gabe should have died instead of Mariana. I know they wanted to shock us but what's the point? Mariana would have been a better friend for Clementine.

Clementine wasn't the only person on her period.
Mari also had much more potental than Gabe.

Why was ever character horrible this episode
Please kill this kid off. Right in front of David please.
Except Clementine, David and Ava.
When he said, "Just get over it, it happened and it's over"
I was like THA FUK BRUH I GOT STABBED cuz you're an IDIOT BRUH???????????

To impress you-know-who.

You really think it was okay for him to throw me under the bus after me doing what he wanted to be? He even told me to shoot Conrad.

In that moment sure, he gets mad but he calms down and if you didn't kill Conrad he never brings it up again.
Poor Sarah, she didn't deserve to die.

But I saw what happens if you kill Conrad and I agree that it's unfair for Gabe to throw you under the bus like that, after everything you did for him. That's because Telltale wanted us to forget about the relationship between Conrad and Clementine they had in episode 2 if you spare him.
I didn't like Gabe at all since the first episode. I legit just kept thinking to myself, "I hope you die" over and over again. He just ratted me out about killing Conrad to Tripp and now he hates me. You can't know that. You haven't seen enough from her to reach that conclusion.
Oh you're a Telltale mind reader now? If your best argument is "Telltale only did that because..." then you're wasting both our times.
Then why am I saying this then?
I can know that because that's all we saw of her.
Only you know that.
Well, you don't know if Javi taught her how to use a weapon. Flashback of her killing walkers (saving her brother, perhaps) would be nice.
