Conrad will most likely die cause he is determinant even if he survived more than 3 episodes
Tripp/Ava is probably going to die since they're determinant
Eleanor can go to hell or remain unknown, I don't care for her anymore
Gabe, god, I hope he dies
Joan/Clint will most likely die.
I hope for David and Clementine to survive
I'm sure I'll get heat for this...
I hope everyone dies and TT never touch TWD again
And yes, by everyone I mean Clem too
I know only one thing. It'll be fantastic but people on the forum will insist it's trash.
My bitterness aside... I have a hard time imagining what'll happen. A lot of determinant characters though so I'm excited to see where that goes. Assuming Kate is dead I think her death will be a big deal. I imagine we'll even have a huge confrontation with David and if we took the deal we can blame him for her death. I also think David will be a big deal this episode, they're really selling his anger and need for vengance, I even think we may have to decide his fate. Maybe a leave him or save him choice, or a good old fashioned kill or spare choice. It'll be interesting to see if Telltale can push us so much that we'd even consider going as far as killing David.
Aside from that I have no ideas. I particularly have no clue how Joan/Clint will fit into things.
I think the situation turns into a war within the New Frontier. When Joan killed Ava (in my playthrough), a lot of NF-people where shocked.. some of them probably join Javi to stop Joan. Also, the preview-picture of episode 5 in the main menu shows Javier cheering in front of a crowd.
What I actually hope happens:
David dies.
I hate that reckless idiot. He is an awful person. An awful, cowardly husband. An awful father. He even killed Clint who was on OUR side. How moronic can you be, for real.
Tripp/Eleanor come back to their senses and stop acting like whiny children.. only because Javier stopped an irrational, unstable maniac - who had one child taken hostage and wanted to abuse another child as a bargaining chip.
Kate survives the car crash and gas explosion. Killing off likable characters for "shocking-reasons" is and has always been garbage behavior and an insult to their own characters and good story-telling.
Gabe stops acting like the biggest teenage moron I've ever seen. I thought Ben was the worst, but no, Gabe takes that place easily. Stabbing ppl in the backs with every chance he gets, throwing everything away and risking everyone's lives only because he wants time with his garbage daddy.
Joan dies a slow, painful death like Norma in the "Michonne" mini-series.
Max returns and tries to make up for all the chaos and death he has caused (in-)directly.
Javier, Kate, Gabe, Clem, Eleanor, Tripp all survive and move on together to the next season and hopefully don't get the usual Omid/Kenny/Jane-treatment as soon as the new season starts.
I'm kind of hoping Javi finds a way to stop the violence, get the people of Richmond to focus on the walkers and become leader of the place. Our maybe joins with the more sane leader to run the place in a council.
It would be a nice chance of pace with Telltale doing the blow shit up, most people die and they have to move on somewhere else that we won't find out till season 4.
And I'm hoping with very little actual hope that Kate lives.
Looks at the profile pic
I agree with almost everything here. You're one of the only people I know on the forums who likes this game (besides me, of course. I love this game!)
You might have trouble seeing them, but I promise that there are plenty of people who like the game. Despite the recent hate that's been happening episode 4 seems loved by a good amount of people.
Oh man do I agree with a lot of this. Especially point 4. While I've always enjoyed Kirkman's writing, killing off characters is something he does too often.
I still disagree with Telltale killing off Lee. I didn't like role playing a child in season 2( which isn't a bash against Clem) but I didn't feel like I had agency to affect things as you were just reacting to the dumb choices the ''adults made''. It's the main reason I'm loving this season and being Javi.
I hope Kate gets lucky. Real lucky.
"Jesus" returns with people from Hilltop and Alexandria to help Javi (hopefully Magna, Andrea, Carl, and maybe Rick.)
Javi confesses his relationship with Kate to David who'll either hate your guts or thank you for being a good brother
Clint or Joan die but not without taking someone else's life (either Gabe's or David's.)
The war ends and Javi tries to lead New Frontier back to peace as their new leader
Clementine leaves Javi and his family to look for AJ and promises them she'll MAYBE be back.
Well, Lee had a well-written death and for my taste it wasn't too early. But I still would've prefered to play another character instead of Clementine. She is one of my favorite characters of all time, but by directly taking control over her in Season Two, we basically ript out her spirit and made decisions for her as if she was a puppet. So I kinda get where you are coming from.
Kate will survive the crash so she can get into more over the top and cliche dangers for the player to need to save her from. She'll be hanging from a rooftop with 1 hand, have a gun to her head and for the climax, be tied up by Wile E. Coyote on a set of railroad tracks covered in sticks of dynamite with a train barreling at her... filled with dynamite.
Everyone dies...
Other than reviewers and people, it does seem loved by a good amount of your posts.
Kate stays dead, Javi has an emotional scene with David, then dies. Gabe runs away never to be seen again after David says it shoulda been him. Everyone lives happily ever after.
Well, I cant say anything certainly because it is most likely will a very confusing episode. But this is my guess:
1- Javi and Clem will survive and probably Javi will take the charge of Richmond. Because episode picture in episodes screen tells me that some kind of revolution could be happen with Javier's leadership. I really want it to happen.
2- David most likely will be dead because of his stubborn and chaos-addict nature. Gabe could be as well. Gabe has a lot in common with his dad.
3- No way Kate will survive. We are gonna see her dead body, or whats left of it.
4- Conrad will certainly die. He is a determinant character, it is hard to keep him on game and add special scenes with him. Telltale has a huge history about not kept people alive who has a determinant status by us.
5- Tripp and Ava will be dead, for sure. They have a determinant status as well. And, considering that this is season finale, they both will be dead, no way of opposite.
6- I guess we will finally found AJ safe and sound.
Thats all I can say, lets see how it goes.
Hope Kate stays the fuck dead, this season has already been way over the top with way too many gunfights and way too much politics, for a game called The Walking Dead, walkers sure havent been very dangerous this season at all.
I fucking hope I get the chance to leave Davids stupid ass behind, seeing as he just ruined the chance to leave safely like and idiot just because he is an idiot
I hope we leave Richmond behind, I dont like communities, and frankly having so much of the plot be based around Richmond is really boring to me, unless Javier stays in Richmond, and Clementine leaves, and a potential next game focuses on Clem again
I honestly hope Tripp and Gabe dies, Ava is dead, one of the only characters I was starting to care for, and Tripp cant see that killing Conrad was a necessary evil (in my head it is, he wasnt listening to reason, and wanted to punish Clementine for what the New Frontier did to Francine, even though Clem had nothing to do with it, Gabe is dumb, again he acts like and idiot, and frankly I think its bad writing, he has been in this world for 4 years, yet he still thinks its a good idea to reveal that I killed Conrad at the most vital time where we need to stand together, "Stop treating me like a kid" Bitch stop acting like one
Joan can go fuck off in her hole for all I care, I am not gonna go be a hothead like David, while she did kill Ava, I am done with Richmond, and frankly I dont want to risk getting more entangled in this stuff, I have been trying to leave Richmond ever since I arrived
As for survivors, I hope for Javier and Clementine, since Eleanor is a traitorous bitch, and Ava is dead (rip), there is noone else I really care about, Ill say it again, David can go to hell after what he did, I dont have any obligations to my brother left after he fucked it up like that.
Seeing clementine in ANF makes me feel Lee died for no reason.
Would be amazing. Maybe even Michonne? You know, in order to connect the mini-series with the main one.
Yup, I do hope that as well. Rebuilding the New Frontier from the ashes by becoming their new leader would offer a lot of potential for the next season(s). I mean, NF has connections to Jesus and the Kingdom by now.
I don't know, all I know is I'm probably gonna have Javi be an ass to everyone but David, Kate(if she's still kicking) and Clem. After nearly everyone decided they hated me, I feel like Javi's earned some time to be salty.
Oohh, that is so cold... It actually might happen. Maybe Clem goes to look for AJ, and when Gabe runs away, he goes to find her?
Magna isn't introduced yet at this point of the story.
Maybe because Walkers are lame? They are just stupid, slowly walking and rotting creatures. Even in the comics and the tv-shows they aren't much of a danger, except when there are like hundreds of them at once. And the more time passes, the weaker they all become, since they rot away. Their muscles and bones will decompose and if no new walkers start to exist, after a certain amount of time, all that's left will be grunting remains which are unable to move.
The Walking Dead never has been about the zombies really, even if the name of this franchise implies otherwise. They are just the writer's tool to set up a post-apocalyptic world. The major key-factor of TWD is and have always been the humans and their behavior, their interactions within such a cruel, chaotic world.
"Politics", as you call it, actually are the most important aspect of the whole thing.
I know that people are the important part of TWD, its the reason I like the series, but I just personally find Richmond really boring, and spending so much time in Richmond is quite boring to me (personal opinion)
I'm pretty sure there's gonna be the terrible choice "Save a member of your family or Clementine"....
Calling it right now.
If it's between Gabe and Clementine, Clem comes first cause Gabe was a fucking asshole to his uncle for no reason.
I doubt it'll happen considering how much negative reaction Gabe is getting and Telltale knows for a fact everyone is going to save Clementine.
So we should just forget that Joan is the reason a lot of people died and got Mariana killed? Murderers DO NOT deserve to live.
I think there is a slim chance Kate is alive because you couldn't really see her in the window of the truck and might have put some heavy thing like a cynderblock on the gas pedal she could have just been trying to kill someone with the truck. The reason o think this is because that if you said yes to the Kate romance choice (which I did) she said there would have to be a conversation with David and in case you haven't noticed telltale is making choices matter again so there may be a slim chance. Also depending on your lingard choice Clem may or may not find AJ.
What does Joan have to do with the part that you quoted?
Clint sided with Joan.
Not by default. He is the one who frees David from the gallows and blames Joan if you don't shoot her.
Kate has been shown in the truck when the molotov-cocktail hits it tho.
I shot Joan and Clint can go wherever he wants.
And that is fine for your playthrough.. but why do you challenge my point about Clint in the other outcome then?
Shit happens, bro
Nah she's fine. It was only done for a dramatic cliffhanger. After all she has to live to keep the love drama between her,Javier and David.
Okay, are you finished? Do you feel manly now? Good. Now move on please.
