So, we gonna forget that Christa happened?
So are we just gonna forget Christa ever existed in TWD orrr..?

Who?
I'm sure Telltale forgot she was a thing.
Hate to break it to you but its pretty damn obvious she died. Literally 2 seconds after she tells you to run there is a gun shot. Christa didn't have one and with how they had her surrounded there is next to no chance the bullet missed and she got away.
I really don't even care. Never liked her anyway.
Seems like Telltale had forgotten about her as much as Clementine did.
It does makes Clementine appear rather ungrateful towards Christa though, considering how she prioritizes Kenny and even Jane above her when it comes to reminiscing her former guardians. I'm not saying that she shouldn't, but it doesn't really make sense for Clementine to pretend that Christa never existed. Christa and Omid is the reason why Clementine is even alive at this point, as without them at age nine, she would likely have no chance of living to become ten years old.
Christa was her second guardian after Lee, and the one who was with her the longest (besides Kenny, which is also determinant), which makes it all the more baffling that Clementine doesn't seem that concerned about her at all.
I'll never forget about Christa.
Yeah, Christa was Clementine's guardian for over 16 months (if we include the time Omid was alive). Heck, more like 2 years seeing how she's in her late pregnancy at the start of S2 whereas in S1 you couldn't even tell she was expecting by visual cues. One would think all that time they spent together had some significance, even though their relationship seemed to be a bit distant after Omid's death.
Yet the narrative is like "Lol... who?"
The gunshot after she tells you to run implies that she's dead but still... Walking Dead logic dictates to me that unless it's explicitly seen/stated there's a chance the person is alive. Dead or no at the least I expected some more recognition for her in the narrative. Guess not.
Christa? Christa who? Oh, the Christa who was with Lee during season 1? The Christa who saved Clementine after Savannah, and took care of her for more than 16 months? The Christa that Clementine arguably owes her life to?
Yeah, fuck that. You suckers get Eleanor
Not just Christa. Molly, Lilly, Bonnie, Mike... I really hate Telltale's memory problems.
...Christa died in season 2.
Such a shame, Christa was more interesting than the entire cast of ANF combined.
And she isn't even mentioned once, got to make way for talks about period cramps and cucking I guess.
What's a christa
But Lee of course gets mentioned again, with Clementine's having "his voice in her head". Just...no. I'm glad that's determinant, because it's such pure fanservice.
Clementine being in ANF is pure shoehorned fanservice.
NeverForget
She's probably gone for good which is a good thing considering they'd just kill her off.
Obviously discussing Clementines period helped progress the plot further with well written dialogue.
It worked on many layers if you think about it.
On one layer, it worked as a placeholder conversation to get players who wear helmets to dinner to like and appreciate the newly formed bond Clem and Javier don't have but now do because... periods bring people together.
On a second layer, ANF's writing is trash.
I heard it's a homo sapien with 2 x chromosomes.
I wanna know what happened to Christa, Lilly and Molly.
During the season 1+2 livestream before Season 3 was released, Nicki Rapp believed that Lilly is still alive and kicking, so I'd like to believe that as well.
It's anyone's guess on what happened to Molly and Bonnie, unfortunately.
Well, the scene where Clem is trying to get answers from the person who tried to rob Christa stayed silent if you gave him water in season 2. Which could be Telltale hinting that she is alive..
Plus, we never saw her die on screen. If Telltale actually killed Christa off off-screen I'll fucking hate Telltale forever.
If they have guts to show us people like Kenny getting fucked and getting killed then why not show Christa's death? I know you'll probably say some shit like:
'Oh, well we just saw it from Clem's perspective'.
This isn't the first time Telltale moved away from Clem's or Lee's perspective.
This is just so fucking sad, Christa deserves more than single determinant mention in determinant Wellington ending in S2.
Not just a thing!
She promised Lee to take care for Clementine.
She did for almost 2 years.
So she was Clem's mother for a while.
In season 3 Clementine totally forgot about Christa.
They may have scrapped the part about the gunshot hitting Ralph in the ear and therefore that storyline was dropped but Mike has the missing chunk in his ear.
Unused elements from pretty much every S2 episode imply that Christa was the one who made the shot, not who got shot. The one shot was Ralph/Mike.
At the very least, if she acknowledged Omid (who she liked more and who had as much emotional impact on her and the viewers as Lee and Kenny), then Christa not even being mentioned again would be forgivable.
Bonnie's dead for me:)
It is pretty depressing to know that Christa's (and Omid to an extent) contribution to Clementine's survival is not given credit when it's due.
It makes me feel sorry for how Christa was basically tossed aside and never to be seen again. But then again, considering what has happened to Kenny and Jane in Season 3, it's probably for the best.
Besides Lee and Kenny, we're practically going to forget about every single character tied to S1 in some way according to Telltale.
This guy "Everyone'sClemInTime" hates ANF with too much of a passion, it's not even worth it to argue with him just chill
He's not even arguing. I think Chibikid was being sarcastic.
I was :]
Unfortunately it is true.
Not everything has to be spoon fed to you. It is heavily implied that she bit the dust. It's possible she didn't but either way life doesn't always give you all the answers. If it appears like she died, she probably died.
I was one of the few trying to defend aspects of it back when the entire body of topics here were to bash the game and nothing much of actual debate was happening because people opted for sensationalistic hyperboles rather than firm debate.
Now that the season quite mysteriously has attracted many of the people swearing nothing good would come out of this season, and I'm more stumped now than I've ever been because this episode was the worst one.
But I suppose many people just have short term memory here...
Most people hated this season at first because Clem wasn't getting enough screen time and the Kenny and Jane death flashbacks were underwhelming and rushed.
In Episode 4, Clem has more screen time and feels a bit more like a major player and the Kenny and Jane flashbacks weren't as underwhelming and rushed.
So automatically people are forgiving Telltale even if Episode 4 was arguably worse in some aspects compared to previous episodes or was just more of the same dumb crap that was there before.
Just add in more fan service and you're automatically forgiven. Sad but true when it comes to Telltale.
Telltale aren't just developers, they're also great magicians cause they made so much of the criticisms here vanish before our eyes.
Something people don't recognize is nothing has been vanished, just hidden behind the sleeves.
So it's a bad thing that Telltale actually listened to fan feedback and improved the episode based on the fanbase, right ?
It's bad that they have nothing original to provide and need fans to write their game for them.
It's 2014! My time machine worked!
