Come to think of it, "he got what he deserved" could also be referring to the whole plan with the boat failing rather than his death.
Don… more't worry though, i'm not denying it and the fact is he probably is dead but i just wish Telltale had made it clearer
Show me the exact line then. It was ambiguous to me. Unless someone actually says that so and so is dead, it's not official. Anyway i already said that he probably is dead anyway.

"We lost Brie and then Vernon with that goddamn boat" doesn't technically say he died though. They could have been separated from him hence they "lost him". Maybe he ditched them? Who knows. For me it was never clear enough that he was 100% dead and as i have said to you, he probably is dead, i'm not saying he isn't so why is this convo being continued? Lol.
Yeah its a shame because (as you probably guessed due to mentioning him at times), i liked Vernon at the time. I figured he was a good guy and appreciated his concern for Clementine's welfare even though i declined his offer.
Despite it all i still understood why he stole the boat. He was looking out for his people just as anyone would during desperate times. At least he left a note explaining his reasons. However, after what Boyd said, yeah it changes my opinion somewhat of Vernon i guess. It would have been better if it was a spur of the moment thing.

I thought he did in my playthrough. But even what he does say is a condemnation of VErnon's actions. He's not saying poor Vernon was a victim, he's saying VErnon made his own bed. THe cancer crew had to assume everyone from the boat group died and they are pretty much right.
Definitely. Plus, that whole "This character did something bad, therefore they are nothing but evil" bit is not what I [used to?] expect from this series. I can understand an angry or unstable character like Kenny or Jane jumping to conclusions in the moment, but for that type of stuff to be treated the gospel truth just annoys me at times.

Yes. Any character that says or does something bad i always assess the situation before holding a grudge and jumping on the hate wagon. But even then i have never "hated" any Telltale game character like some people do with Kenny/Jane for example. I dislike a lot of characters but hate is too extreme for me. Every character has something interesting about them (well not really in Season 3 though)

Personally, I think she's still alive. I would love to know what happened to her and her baby; hopefully Clementine will talk about it with Javi at some point. Now, do I think we'll ever see Christa again? Unfortunately, no.
I have always had a belief in TWD game and show/comic. If you don't physically see a character die on screen, chances are they are still alive. I'm not saying it is always the case but with Brie we saw it happen, Vernon we did not.
Don't forget that it said "Kenny was lost to the herd" in the choices section at the end of the game and we all know how he turned out. Lost could mean more than 1 thing which is why until I hear Telltale confirm for certain Vernon died, I will continue to believe that he was just "lost" with that "goddamn boat"
Honestly it's not even worth going on about because he won't be coming back anyway
I thought her body was on the sand bar that You search with Nick, and you see our home boy Roman dead there as well.
That was a reused model of the dead woman in the house next to the mansion in season 1. The woman lying on the bed with her dead partner (incidentally the man was also a reused model in that scene as well).
I still to this day have no idea what relevance Roman had in even being found dead there in that episode. How and why was he there? We'll never know
(incidentally the man was also a reused model in that scene as well).
Which is painfully obvious, btw.

He was either part of a rival scavenger group after the Gil's Pitstop setup failed or he may have even been the leader of the same group Victor, "Ralph," and Winston were apart of.

The look on Lee's face before he leaves Ben and Kenny always told me that they were lost to the herd. But I see your point. I guess I finally have a headcanon. about Vern not Ken.

She's most likely drowning in the sea of wasted potential.
16 months with Christa and the good old S2 writers decide to focus on Clem hanging around with a stupid piece of plot armor for the majority of screen time.
You're correct. Lilly was originally intended to be Lilly Caul (the Governor's soldier) from what I recall of season 1 discussions. She was leaving the group in the game in order to fulfill her comic role. But, then Kirkman wrote a book that gave Lilly Caul a backstory, which changed things a bit.
Its interesting i guess. I just wish Telltale would sometimes at least tie up loose ends with certain characters. I mean i have always wanted to know how Christa lost her baby, Nate and Eddie's status whom i both found very interesting characters.

(Telltale) wont probably show return characters from the previous season because they only bridged Kenny back from season 1 but he's back in that season but for Christa I don't think they'll be showing her I think their just going too Cutt her off and focus on the new characters and (Clementine) and (AJ).
Yeah and you probably can add saving some loose ends for the future to that given how Season 2 ended. At the very least, Christa was apparently planned to have gotten away and Nate just seemed like a wandering threat anyway.

Although a lot of people say her fate is unknown, we ALL heard her fall and then the gunshot that came immediately afterwards. If she was alive, she would've headed straight for Wellington, because that was the plan in the first place, and she would think that Clementine would go there right away as well. But we didn't see her.
Dead.

I reckon her status is unknown, even for telltale. It's possible that they just cut her out of the game in that such way so they could elect whether to put her back into play in later installments
Okay, yup, I actually remember the first rule of any Walking Dead realm;
If there isn't a body, they are most likely alive.
But we also have to think logically.
We heard her cry out and fall and then the gunshot came. That's more than enough to presume her dead. But that doesn't mean she's dead. Doesn't mean she's alive, either.
We also gotta think, there was more than one person with a gun on her. There was a chance she tried to attack one of them, and the other one shot her. There was almost next to no chance she got out of it alive.

Hell yeah!
In the comic he dies in the same circumstances.
he dead
Maybe. Maybe not. We won't see him again anyway

Yeahh!!!
I know. Never said he doesn't, just pointing out that the game isn't tied in with the TV Show.
just read the captions on the picture you posted.

I don't see anywhere here where the black guy says "Vernon got what he deserved"?
I don't like that Boyd said Vernon was out for the boat the whole time, especially since he didn't know about it until Kenny brought it up.

IS Brie alive or dead? Because I'm pretty sure she didn't take a wrong turn and is trying to find her way back. She died, she was lost.

Hmmm...well, let's see. She was surrounded by three ARMED scavengers, alone, we hear a groaning sound and then a gunshot after Clem runs away.
Yeah, she's most likely dead.

OR it could have been another member of the same biker gang or boy band Plastic Dolls

You heard a thud and a gunshot, sooo what? That's not enough corroboration to presume her as dead. There's probably more to it than meets the eye

Unless she fell into a river like Clementine did.
