Who would you save in the final episode? David/Kate ????

  • What about your morals, going fucking with your husband's brother without talking it out?
I just don't go behind people's backs. If that's fucked up, I'd check your time growing up.

Whoever taught you "morals" must've fucked up big time then. Sorry for you, but there is always time to change. You got a brain between your own ears yourself, so think for yourself and don't just rely on what others told you when you were younger.

  • He at least verbally abused her, which is equally bad. No need to play down his behavior, it was a big NO-GO. If you treat your wife the way David used to treat Kate, you deserve to be ditched and lose your children.

There is no indication David has been physically abusive, and Kate seems to be strong enough to handle him and herself. Also David doesn't

  • In all honesty, I'd probably choose Kate just to see Gabe's reaction when he finds out you didn't save his Dad. I can see him going crazy and screaming at Javi while Clem says he did the right thing which makes Gabe pissed at Clem for saying such a thing. Hopefully this decision can end the disease known as "Gabentine".

  • I never excused his behaviour. I just said she's an independent woman that can make her own decisions. The apocalypse played into her hands, that's all. If you ditch someone, then ditch him/her for real and not behind his/her back.

  • I think you are blowing David's "aggressive" character way out of proportion. No where is it confirmed that he was abusive towards his wife. Did he have a temper? Sure. However, you would at least think Kate would know this much about him before marrying him in the first place.

If however the attitude developed over time and David's character began to change when she was already stuck in the marriage, than the FIRST usual step to do is try to work things out with the person you love. Sadly, Kate's initial response was to just throw herself on her husbands brother and try to run away from her problems before the apocalypse even began. That's pretty pathetic if you ask me.

Why do so many abused, poor women stay with their tormentors in real life? Because they are afraid. Who knows what an ex-soldier with serious anger-issues would've done to her or the children.

  • ...Damn it, part of me almost wants to see that. If only because there'd be some actual conflict and more character-based action between the two.

  • In a zombie-apocalypse, there is no reason to wait for a formal divorce. As soon as the "old world" was over, everything from that time got meaningless. Same applies to their marriage, which only existed on a piece of paper anyway. There was no bond between Kate and David anymore, so both can do whatever they want.

And unlike David, Javi actually cared for Kate and the two children. He was the better partner even before the apocalypse. If they develop romantic feelings for each other and have a much healthier bond with each other, why not stay together then?

Javi might, but I don't. But that's another topic.
And since David is back in their lives, wouldn't at least be decent to talk about it? Even if they end up being together, what should they do, murder David?

Also it wasn't only since the apocalypse Kate had interest in Javier.

I'm disappointed there wasn't. You would think there was when Gabe spilled the beans about you killing Conrad and Clem defending you and telling Gabe off.

  • So you would want her to search for the guy she didn't love anymore - and who could possibly be dead - in a destroyed world full of zombies.. just to get his consent? That is completely idiotic. They already waited 3 months at home, but David never bothered with coming back. His fault.

I never excused his behaviour. I just said she's an independent woman that can make her own decisions. The apocalypse played into her hands, that's all. If you ditch someone, then ditch him/her for real and not behind his/her back.

  • That whole Kate like-likes Javier thing started way before the apocalypse. If she already knew then that it won't work out with David, she could've taken the necessary steps then.
As I said, the apocalypse played into her hands.

I do not blow anything out of proportion. If a woman is afraid of the husbands reaction over a broken glass, then the guy and the relationship itself, have major problems already.

  • How "afraid" was she really of her husband when he was about to walk in and she forced Javi to keep his hand on hers?! LOL.

Besides, if i broke my boyfriends favourite glass, I'd be worried about his reaction too. Not because I'm afraid hes going to "verbally abuse me" but because he would obviously be disappointed and nag me about how I could have been more careful. That doesn't make a relationship automatically bad, everyone in the world gets upset about losing something that has value to them and in the heat of the moment can take it out on people.

AND on top of that, If you choose not to "tell him off", Kate says shes really sorry and he replies with "it's alright, it was an accident".

I'm having a hard time believing David's at fault here......

Because he Kenny 2.0 (for me)

  • I too was thinking they might do this and I Kinda hope they do because they are both the closest character to Javier from his previous life. For me I would have to choose Kate because even though she's not blood her character always helps you out even if you don't agree with her, David on the other hand seems to get mad at Javier very easily even though I had him on his side for the entire season so far and he is a bit of a hot head.

  • Something going happen like you said choose between David or Kate but remember he said if anything happens to him basically telling Javier keep Kate and Gabe safe or it going be David vs Javier all because of Kate because if you kill max and after that episode 4 ending when David kill Lonnie. I did heard him ask his brother how many friends you got left you haven't kill and David said Him so we just got few weeks left to find out.

  • Id laugh, honestly sometimes I wish the game would just let you be an asshole, not just a bit snarky

  • I like David more than I like Kate, but I'm sure that he would want that Kate is safe. I'd save Kate.

  • Yeah ya know this reminds me of the early times on here when I once said only A holes would be so fond of the character Larry from the first game on here. Then those that got their toes stepped on couldn't calm their titts. I actually meant it as folks tend to like characters or people they relate to and can personally identify with.

How is that even a question? Only garbage people would save David.

  • David !!! I don't like Kate from EP1 so...I just don't care :))

  • In this kind of situation, I would usually save the character that isn't unstable and violent for the sake of the group, so Kate. But... At this point, I just want the story to be kinda interesting, so the unstable, violent guy that happens to be the main character's brother sounds fun. I'd pick David.

  • Knowing TellTale though they'll probably just make it where Gabe hates you either way on your choice.

  • Team David.

  • David, no hesitation. Along with being my brother, I've really enjoyed his character, a lot more than I've enjoyed Kate's, that's for sure. Maybe it's because I've been actively avoiding the romantic route with Kate and for 4 episodes, she kept trying to get on Javi's dick, which made her character very irritating and annoying to me. But along with that, she's incredibly selfish. I'm not going to say David is a saint, not by any stretch of the imagination, but at least with him, you understand why he acts the way he does, it feels like there's a motivation behind it and you may even sympathize with him as a result. With Kate, I don't have that sympathy, she actively tries to run off with Javi and go behind David's back instead of just talking to him about their screwed up marriage, and I just can't support that.

  • Oh noes, they argue, HE IS SO ABUSIVE OMGZ!

The "chick" was bitching to Javier in the second episodes flashback about how she oopsied by marrying a guy who had children and she wasn't ready for that responsibility. She literally tries to talk him into taking her with him when he leaves, I don't remember a damn thing about her mentioning bringing the kids. But yea, she wants to protect the poor wittle children instead of selfishly latching on to the option with the least responsibilities. She seemed just as lost about dealing with kids in episode 1s present time as she did in 2s flashback. Grow up, have a real relationship, then come back and talk about how abusive people that have arguments are.

  • I like both but I'd save David because he's my favorite character this season. Plus, he seems better at survival, even though he is unpredictable. He's my brother and I trust him. Kate annoyed me a lot of times with her forcing herself on me, though I rejected her in episode 4 so she'll probably be more reasonable now (if she's still alive).

  • If i had to choose one person out of the whole cast to survive (excluding Clem), I'd choose David

She's going to be wrong about David, I can almost guarantee AJ is alive because David protected him. It would be completely out of character for David to lie about AJ's death.

Kate- Clem knows best, she was right about Eleanor, so there's only a matter of time before she's right about David too.

I would definitely save Kate over David. To start off David is unstable. He jeapordized the plan of Javier and his group leaving Richmond together by attacking Clint. Not only that, he takes things way to seriously. For example, the time he and Javier were playing baseball at the park. He was jealous and God mad way too easily. Same when you choose to leave Richmond with Kate. As for Kate, she loves my Javier and my Javier lovers her. I honestly don't think David will treat her the same way as Javier did. Yes David is Javier's brother and Kate's husband but David acts like neither.
