  • Yeah, I guess (@ insult).

She didn't really get to do anything before dying... (Save for losing/winning in a Poker's match with Conrad).

I think that's just some people's default insult for dead people they don't like, really. Francine was really just a Victim of Circumstance, when you get down to it.

  • Well that and what could've been a neat character establishing moment with Tripp.

  • its the right thing to do if you re playing the game on a ´´Keep everyone alive no matter what ´´ Mindset which is how i usually play all of telltale s games by doing everything i can so characters who are on my side live on to see another day which is my playstyle on every telltale game
So yes While Conrad did something really Fucked up i knewn he was like Kenny devastated because of his recent loss and prone to make decisions he will definitely regret later on which is what indeed does happen if you spare him and he then makes a comeback and redeems himself by saving you in the other episodes after he finally sees the killer of his wife dead and gets some closure .
I would not mind if Conrad died in the final episode because he fullfiled his entire character arc already.

  • Why? WHY? Because this guy aimed a gun at your nephew's head after someone just killed your niece! I'm tired of people seemingly ignoring the fact that Conrad is threatening to kill a child because they're so focused on getting off the Clementine bandwagon.

  • Not shooting conrad is the best option if you like gabe. He ends up not being a dick if you continue to support him and make the right choices. He ends up helping you out and he looks up to you. As a result im glad i shot Conrad.

The choices you make heavily influence gabe and in turn will probably influence him and clems relationship from what ive seen.

  • My only problem with that is that how you treat him otherwise has no effect on this.

    Huh. Deja vu.

  • its not about getting off the clementine bandwagon its about not killing someone from your Group who is unstable at the moment yes he did have a gun pointed at gabe and clem but when i first played it i did not kill him because i try to keep determinant characters for as long as i can.
and besides clem s relationship with Javier doesnt change at all in the next episode and she still trusts him and Conrad does indeed do a 180 and comes back from his depression and Murders badger getting his revenge on his wife and then later on he even saves you in episode 4 so yeah like Conrad says in episode 3: ´´That man back in the tunnel? That wasnt me ´´ which meant that he was not really all there when that happened he was just a man who was going insane because of a loved one s death much like Kenny actually.

I disagree. Kenny wouldn't put a gun to a child's head, he's very protective of children. Besides, Kenny lost his wife and son then his girlfriend who was the only lifeline that pulled him out of severe depression from losing his family. Conrad lost his girlfriend. I understand that in his grief he lost it, but I don't think his apology makes up for threatening to shoot a child. I also understand that you want to keep a character around for as long as possible, and I also thank TT for putting work into that. However for the sake of the thread's topic, it isn't the right choice to accept Conrad's deal because a child's life is involved. I keep repeating that whenever I discuss Conrad because I feel as though too many people overlook the severity of the situation - maybe it's because Gabe is so unpopular. With that in mind, I don't mean to say that you or anyone else is playing the game wrong, so I hope I didn't come off that way.

  • Still feeling the conrad kill was the right move .

  • i was just using him as an example since he did go thought the same character arc that Conrad goes of depression and then getting over it and becoming a really good guy later on.
