I really enjoyed this episode!
I ended up getting the ending where Gabe is alive, but Kate is 'missing' and David is dead (ALSO CONRAD IS… more ALIVE AND THATS MY MAN). I plan on re-playing on a different save file to get the ending where Kate can also live.
David and Gabe died, Kate doesn't even want to be friends and wants space, and Javier decided to take on a leadership role in Richmond. Plus I ended up trying to hit on Jesus, the guys just awesome.

Absolutely! Though I figure after knowing him for so long she'd know if he was gay so he must be at least bi, but that's something because Telltale has never had a non-straight protagonist before and there are hardly any non-straight male protagonists in any games or films or TV
Kate dead, both Gabe and David alive and in Richmond. I thought it was quite the common ending to get, as it felt natural and logical, but I see people are rather divided.
Well, at least we've got multiple ending to fuel up "choices matter" scheme, however we all know what kind of a treatment waits for the branched storylines.

The choice whether to help Kate or go after Gabe and David is quite complicated to be honest, personally I went with Kate because I remembered the terrified children back in Richmond, and I believe they die if you don't save her, going by the memorial wall. Also in my game Gabe wanted to go with his dad so I thought there wasnt much wrong with them leaving if they wanted to

So many endings that it still confuses me! A really big step up from last season's endings - those endings were pretty obvious to guess (if you kill Kenny, obviously you won't get a Kenny ending) while these were more complex (Will Clem go with you to help Kate or split off?)
I got the ending where it was just Javi and Gabe. (I went after David & Gabe, and Clem did the opposite of what I picked).
I thought it was a good episode, I'm just disappointed that I did everything in my power to try and keep David alive, and he ended up dead. (I know he's determinant though, it's just crappy that you only can keep him alive if you threw Clem under the bus in episode 2).
I failed to understand Kate's plan, it was obvious she was feeling guilty about what happened, but no rational head would think that one armored tractor (or whatever the hell that was) was able to undo the destruction and chaos caused by the horde constantly flooding the city, killing the people and spreading fire everywhere.
I heard it like the shock, guilt, denial and confusion talking through her, and I knew there wouldn't be time to snap her out of it. Also, it seemed like she knew it was a suicide mission and was perfectly fine with sacrificing herself, which I wouldn't be able to stop her from doing or at least try to reason with her - again, too little time.
After David has beaten my Javi up with a wrench I know he can't be trusted so I figured out Gabe - as a child - needs me much more than I grown up woman who had already made up her mind.

Javier is in Richmond with Kate even though he doesn't want to be there and he doesn't want children. Clementine has gone off to find the child. I really don't know how Clementine's story became about her and a person's baby. It's such a fruitless quest.
The Javier and David fight ends way before it even begins, and there's a few detrimental scenes where important characters just die off screen which leads to having no real pay off. Even then, I don't think the death scenes are what I would call climatic.
What do you mean "no climax"? If anything, I can't put my finger on which moment was the most tense or exciting because there were multiple.… more David fighting Javier should be a climax but the story doesn't slow down from there just yet. Then, at least for me, you have the reveal that not only is David dead, but Gabe is bitten and has to be put down. Either of those are the climax of the story, and there's no rule against multiple being present.

Well...I mean, that is basically what happens if you go with her :P

When Clementine said that she would "follow me no matter what my decision was", I just had a strong gut feeling that if I went after David & Gabe, then Kate would die. But if I went with Kate, then David & Gabe would die.
Talk about trusting my instincts, I was right. I had my problems with David & Gabe, but in the end I did care more for Kate and wanted her safe.
I don't know what the TC is talking about, this has to be the worst episode so far. Biggest disappointment for this series so far. Whoever wrote this must be 10 years old.
My ending:
I shut the game of, punched a wall, looked at my collection of TellTale Games and then I died inside.
I haven't been this dissapointed in a game since AC: Syndicate.

Really enjoyed that last episode and New frontier as a whole. My ending consisted of Stopping the walkers from destroying Richmond at the cost of David being killed and having to shoot Gabe as he turned (Man that scene was rough, Gabe's VA was just fantastic). Very bittersweet. I was hoping David could learn to change in my path, but he was just too far gone always has been imo.
You know, I like to think I'm a pretty big defender of Telltale, most of the time that is. But this accurately sums up my feelings towards the ending (except for AC: Syndicate, never played it).

It's true that our choices are having a pretty big impact, but I wish that they would have put as much effort into that as they did with the rest of the story and character arcs. I'm in the same boat as you, the David payoff was horrendously handled and was completely unsatisfying.
David died off screen in my playthrough in what was one of the worst payoffs to a seasons worth of build up that' I've ever seen. Left a rea… morelly bitter taste in my mouth. However I'm willing to cut TTG some slack due to the fact that your choices have actual consequences and there are quite a few different endings. At the very least it has some replayability.
Went with Kate because Clem told me to, got David killed. Gabe survived, shot David when he turned.
At least I saw Jesus again! And damn … morehe looked handsome, all dressed as a knight and killing walkers with a sword. I love that man.
Rest in peace, Tripp. I can't believe you forgave me. You were truly too good for this world, too pure. Ultimate cinnamon roll right there, the big guy. You are going to sit next to Luke in my "Hall of Bullshit Deaths that Shouldn't Have Happened".
Really wanted to like it, but to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. The episode was filled with plot holes, story arcs left unresolved, while character arcs had lazy or unsatisfying conclusions, erratic character behavior, was incredibly rushed, poorly handled deaths, and ends with a cheap set up for a sequel. The choices and impacts were great, I will give it that, and Javi's story was wrapped up quite nicely, but that's not enough to save this episode for me. Worst episode of Telltale's The Walking Dead, and one of the worst Telltale episodes I've played, in general.
If Clem and Javi go together to get Gabe, both him and David will live. No one seems to know how or if it connects to your relationship with Clem whether or not she goes with you. I didn't shoot Conrad, but was otherwise supportive of her, but she went with me.
Wait, so how does David survive if you choose to go after him? In what way does it depend on throwing Clem under the bus?
Is it just that… more if Clem comes with you he survives? Because I didn't betray clem in episode 2 and she said she'd go with me wherever I wanted
Really? I thought it was if you don't shoot Conrad, and also reject Kates feelings. Now I'm really confused. I wonder what It is that actually determines if Clem goes with you.

A climax is the moment the story or a certain arc is leading up to, the big catharsis. The Javier and David fight (even if you didn't like it) definitely qualifies as it is the huge moment their relationship led to, two brothers literally trying to kill each other.
Not all death scenes are climaxes, just Gabe, Kate, and David's.

When I was on my second playthrough this happened to me I thought this was gonna be another ending, Telltale trolling us.
I agree and Katie missing I didnt know that was possible, so many endings!
Same! I exited to the main menu because I thought my Javi was a fucking goner LMAO I had Lee war flashbacks
I got bruised not broken clementine. Im not sure which clementine is the best.
David and Gabe died, Kate doesn't even want to be friends and wants space, and Javier decided to take on a leadership role in Richmond. Plus I ended up trying to hit on Jesus, the guys just awesome.
Are you me ahaha literally same exact choices, bi Javier for the win
It's great that Javier can be bisexual in the game. Gives me turning Kate down all the time a completely new meaning looking back.
This should been a end for Kate and David to fix there f*cked married

Yep, it sure sucks NOT to be a sheep.

In fairness I'm not sure expecting to drive through a herd on a motorcycle is very logical either lol

It's not :> I honestly waited for them to slip and crash in that rain that magically washed the bloodstains off Javi's clothes.

Gabe will only live if Javier goes to save him or Clem does.
I think Gabe lives if at least one person goes after him. It can be Javi and Clem, just Javi, or just Clem I believe.
Thank you @The_Duck and @Clementine_Is_Back

I didn't shoot Conrad and rejected Kate's feelings, but not idea how or if those influenced her choice.
I wish I could get that ending but there are apparently a lot of factors that go into it.
