It would make sense that Javi followed the trail of blood and overrun Walker-corpses. That's how he finds them when he takes the motorbike to catch up.
As I said at the end of Season 2 no ending is truly wrong as it plays out based on who you made your character to be. That is why I don't go back and change my choices to get a "better ending."
For me, David turned out to be the trouble maker that Kenny turned out to be. Just as my Clem grew close with Jane and killed Kenny, my Javi grew close with Kate (eventhough he loved his brother and didn't fight back to keep his promise to papi). It would have made no sense for me to keep Kenny and it would have made no sense for me to go after David based on the choices I made throughout the season.
Alas Javi is starting a family with Kate and still has Gabe to look after, and Clem is going after AJ and will be bringing him back to Richmond with her.

It's not that Clem has to stick with you. If you have a good relationship with her she does the opposite of what you do, and then you have to choose to go with Kate. She manages to save Gabe if she's alone but she gets separated from Kate.

Probably the most dramatic ending, in my opinion, was Kate turning (Javi shoots her) and David comes back. I felt like that was a good way to end the game and I'm happy that I actually got that ending.
I'm not saying it was good that Kate died, I'm just saying that it made ANF a good story. Plus, I admired Javi's facial expressions in the "Shoot Kate or Don't" scene. Really showed how he was feeling.
i dont known what choices exactly impact the one where she just decides to go after Gabe but i known that it has to do with the flashbacks for example Clem goes with you to wherever you want if you accepted Ava s offer and Injected AJ with the medicine.
Yeah exactly. That ending is too good to be true, plus the construction vehicle scene is boring af compared to Javi taking on the group of walkers with his bat. My ending was really emotional but it felt most appropriate.
David was a good brother but he wasn't a good husband and probably a worse father. I honestly think he was suicidal to a point, all he did was talk about his funeral, and the dude made like one friend in 4 years. I don't think he would've been happy with a fucked-up Richmond, and a distant family, so it's better for my game that he died.
Kate, Gabe and Javi are currently living in Richmond and told Clementine to come back after she finds AJ.
Feel like I could have gone the more romance option with Kate since she wants "space" for a while since I rejected her, but oh well, I think it makes it more interesting like that since I kissed her but didn't want to go further out of respect for David.
Overall It could have ended much worse for me, most are alive and generally happy.
My ending was saving only Gabe, while David died and Kate went missing. This may be an unpopular opinion (?) around the forum, but I was actually pretty satisfied with this. I thought David's death and the final moments he shared with his brother rounded out his character arc well. It redeemed a lot of his character for me, and it tugged at my heart strings to hear him say he loved Javi and his children. In regards to Kate going missing... Kate was a meh character to me. I didn't feel particularly strongly about her in general, so I didn't care whether she lived or died.
I know that Gabe wasn't a popular character, but I didn't mind him (that's a whole 'nother topic and conversation) and I'm happy I had the chance to save him. My Javi cared a lot about his nephew, and I think making sure he was okay was prioritized over Richmond and Kate.
Gabe and Javier survived. Gabe shot David. Kate disappeared.
I'm a bit disappointed, because I wanted both Kate and Gabe to be with me in the end, but it's fine, since Kate isn't certainly dead in this ending, just unknown. She could still be alive which gives me hope.
I agree with you 100%. I got the same ending and even though I regretted David's death at first, I realize now that it's a perfect outcome for him. While Gabe has actually improved in this episode and I can clearly see that he has a potential. My Javier had "fatherly" relationship with him so now he can guide him through this rough liufe.

Both Clementine and Javi have to go after David together in order for them both to survive.
