    Luke or Kenny.

Lee's death served a purpose and it was one of the turning points in TWD. His death was necessary in order to keep the story going. One of the main reasons why I think Season 1 is so good, is because of his well written death. He fulfilled his character's potential completely and Telltale wrote him off at the right time. If he would have still been in Season 2, I think S2 would have been a lot worse.

Luke and Kenny however, still had potential. Their deaths weren't really necessary. They still had a lot of potential in them. Kenny probably had less potential and maybe that's why he had the option of getting killed, but that's no excuse to give him a cheap death in a 5 minute flashback in Season 3. Also, Luke died way too soon. I would have loved to see him in Season 3. He had tons of potential left. Luke's character ended up being wasted. Kenny's character, less so.

But as for Jane & Tripp, I hated them both and I'm glad they're dead. Both didn't serve a real purpose in the story, besides from creating unnecessary conflict. Tripp created less conflict, but he was an awful character anyways.

  • As much as I'd love to say Kenny, he's deserved to rest. Out of all the options, I'm gonna pick up Luke.

Luke. As bad as Kenny's death was, he got flashbacks that were emotional.

    Lee got a good death.

I dont care for Tripp but I'm 100% sure he and Ava will be back anyway. I dont consider him dead at all.

Idc for Jane. She was self interested.

Luke just drowned outta nowhere. He got no closure whatsoever.

That's why I'm cool with a cop out explanation for him magically surviving. He deserves better.

Luke. Kenny needs to stay at rest and fuck Jane.

    Why is Tripp even here?

  •"You killed em, Telltale! You fuckin killed em!"

    Season 1's writers

    I mostly agree.

Pretty much dead, trust me. Why would Telltale give a shit to give them chances?

  • Well, considering I killed Kenny in season 2, and found it to be a nice final moment for him, I would have to go with Luke probably, Lee had a good run, and got too se his sweetpea grow up (kinda), Tripp, well I guess I was kinda getting attached to him in episode 5, but I just dunno, if anyone I would bring Christa back, but since that wasnt part of the choices I guess Luke

  • I mean, based on the rest of the season theyve seemed to have learned their lesson about the status of determinants.

the writing is still meh but gotta give em credit on choices mattering a lot more

I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt here, which is probably a mistake.

  • Luke, his death was the most out of place and a waste of potential.

  • +1

Lee's death was perfectly done and important for the franchise. His return would destroy everything S1 did build up. Luke and Kenny were just trashed. I agree that Kenny already had his time (his development was pretty much complete), but I would've still liked him to exit the story in a peaceful way, without dying.

Luke was pretty much the only new character in S2 that I liked, his death was literally a big "WTF!?". Ava on the other hand.. imo was the side character with the greatest potential since Season One.. and they trash her as well. What was even the point to keep a troll like Conrad alive instead of interesting characters?

Tripp.. yeah. It's sad that his potential wasn't used either. He seemed to be the leader of Prescott. That would mean he has to have some charisma and other leader-like characteristics. But as soon as New Frontier arrives at Prescott, he is a side-character with little to no value at all. He then acts completely contrary in terms of Eleanor. First he says love is a mess and he accepts Eleanor's decision.. 5 minutes later he confesses his lasting love in the worst possible moment ever. The only really good thing about Tripp is his dialoge with Javi in E5 if you killed Conrad.

  • Out of all of them, Luke and Tripp are the two that I feel didn't have a full story, and I was more interested in Luke

Personally, I wanted him to exit the story in a peaceful way by dying.

And this is why he sucks.
